Installed on my Windows 7 laptop. All went very smooth. Game seems to run just fine. Interesting game I must say. Thank you Big Fish Games, Myplaycity, and GAOTD.

The game opens in widescreen, but with the sides cut off. Maybe it will be alright after a restart, but that will take another few hours.

Malwarebytes kills the wrapper. You folks should get together and resolve this.

JEDIGEG, I was referring to the wrapper. They used to install okay, most of the time. Then it stopped again. The folks I meant are the user(s) and maker of the themida wrapper maker working with the AV companies (including Malwarebytes) to whitelist the wrapper (if possible). However in some cases MB has blocked the install because it actually detected a popup and/or browser redirect, or at least reported it did.

Installed the game. It went fine. The problem is that when I try to open it, it doesn't get past the splash screen. The troubleshooter in Win10 cannot fix it. My guess is it is the resolution in full screen. Two seconds after going to full screen it closes to the taskbar. If someone has a solution I will try it if not I will pass. Cannot judge what you cannot play.

Played this from prior give. When re-installed it picked up from where I had gotten to about 50% until bored. Decent game, nice graphics, has a list of what internal game elements achieved (listed mine). Had no issues at that point Win 10 X64 Pro. Worth a shot for fans.

hi I have tried and tried to load this game but I get message saying failure to connect I am on line to game giveaway of the day. I rebooted the modem, my computer but it still gives me this message please help if you can thank you respectfully Arlene Brush

Arlene Brush,
Hi Arlene
The game is protected by a Themida wrapper, unfortunately this can also cause your security to block the install of the game. Themida wrappers can also be used to hide malware, which is why some security software will block it.There are thee things you can do.
1) ... turn off your security, install the game, then reboot your security
2) ... White-list the game files then install
3) ... Reboot your computer in safe mode, with networking, install the game then reboot your computer as normal.

I am waaaayyy into the game and there seems to be a glitch. I am where the artist is and needs his paints. There is a "tulip" that I am not allowed to click on, although using the hint says it is that tulip. It is painted so that is not the issue. The game just does not allow me to click the tulip.
Anybody else with this issue?
This is a fun game. A little different than some others I have played. I had to really think on some of the "game play" to figure out what to do next.
Thanks

For anyone who has this same issue;
I left the game and rebooted my Win 10 64 bit. Went back into the game and it worked.
Have finished the game. It was a nice change from some of the other HOGs.

On my - now Windows 10 - PC I had to install Direct Play. Windows found it and installed it after I gave my permission. The other 3 HOGs I installed earlier never asked for that, but this one did. Also I had to adjust the DPI settings and found the right setting for Windows 10. Thank you for another HOG - my favourite kind of game :-)

tiscrea from The Netherlands,
Me too but no problem either.

As with tiscrea (#3), I also received the Windows pop-up that the game required installation of Direct Play. I have a gaming laptop and never got that before but I allowed the install.
Oddly, in full screen mode the game is a bit oversized so that the third line of dialogue, for example, is cut in half. Not wanting to mess with any settings to accommodate this game, I unchecked "Full Screen" mode to see if the window would be a playable size. The game window shrinks just enough to leave about an inch on either side and a quarter inch at the top and bottom which is fine for me.
That said and just having played briefly, there are 2 modes, casual and difficult. Really nice graphics that are sharp and often look close to 3-D in some scenes. The characters speak audibly, the sound and gameplay are good. There seems to be some fun tasks and challenges in addition to the HOG play. It looks to be an engaging game and I look forward to playing more when time allows.
Thank you to MPC and GOTD and Stephen.

You will get that popup when running on Windows 10, at least. Probably also on Windows 8.x. DirectPlay is an old API that allowed games to connect to each other over a network. You got me as to why a HOG needs to do this. You don't actually need it to play the game. If you click "Skip", the game will start nonetheless.
In any event, DirectPlay is still an optional component for Windows 10, so you can have the dialog box trigger the installation of the optional component or you can install it yourself:
1. Open Settings.
2. Click on "Apps".
3. In the upper right click on "Programs and Features".
4. On the left sidebar click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
5. DirectPlay is in the "Legacy Components" group.
Obviously, you can also do this to uninstall it if you install it as part of installing the game, after you're done with the game.

jboy, I also had a problem with an oversized screen, couldn't read everything and couldn't click Exit. That's why I searched for the DPI-settings in W10. I remembered from W7 that adjustment usually worked. In Windows 10: rightclick on the game in desktop - properties - Tab Comptability - change high DPI-settings - check box under : ignore high DPI scaling adjustments (maybe the computer terms I use aren't totally correct. I tried to translate the technical Dutch wording into understandable English *blush*)

tiscrea from The Netherlands,
Thank you for taking the time but that does not work for me. No problem though, it is only a issue with this one game and I am fine with the windowed mode as it is large.
