To anyone who has a Groupee's account and has previously purchased bundles from them; they are shutting their servers down soon; someone in the Groupee's chat said the download servers would be shutting on the 21st of August. I have 433 Groupee's bundles purchased up to July 2017; so far, of the 56 Greenlight bundles alone I've found 18 unredeemed keys that were on my wish list. However, some of the earlier bundles from pre 2015 appear to have been voided (most I've checked, but not all).

Red Hood Adventure :

In Brief:
Red Hood Adventure is a side scrolling Action Platformer/slasher game. It's just been released on Steam on the 10th August and is on sale, with 40% off, until the 17th August at only £1.01 (approx $1.20). It's never been given away before.

The Game:
The main menu is accessed using the arrow keys and enter to activate your selection. Selecting options allows you to toggle between full screen and an adjustable window, with toggles to turn off the sound and music.
When you start the game a black screen appears with a list of the keys you'll use to play the game. To go to the next screen press any key

On starting the game you will first pass a trader where you can buy various items i.e. Air Arrow (50 gold), Fire Arrow (100 gold) or a quest item for (200 gold). Gold is equivalent to apples of which you start with 100.

Killing enemies earns you more gold, You get three lives; each life has three hearts, each heart represents one hit. If you are hit three times by an enemy you lose a life. Lose all three lives and you start from the beginning with no gold and any items you're purchased are lost. However, if you exit the game completely you regain the 100 apples.

Some platforms are impossible to reach unless you find movable objects to help you reach a suitable height. You can move objects using the X key.

There are three different area's to explore with some puzzles to solve, each area has different enemies. If you leave the game before completing the first area you will have to start from the beginning. Once past the first area, you can use the continue button.

Controls:
Controls are quite intuitive with your left hand controlling weapon use and jumping sand your right hand using the movement controls. There's also support for a game pad, which I found much easier to use playing this game even though I tend to shy away from controllers.

Keyboard Controls:

Arrow Keys = Walking
Z = Jump
X = Attack or Use
C = Shoot
S = Change Arrow

Gamepad Controls:

D Pad = Walking
A = Jump
X = Attack or Use
Y = Shoot
B = Change Arrow

The D Pad and A button are used to access the menus. Also, while in game pressing the forward arrow (start) button will pause the game and allow you to return to the main menu if you wish.

Conclusion:
Overall a reasonably challenging platformer. I wasn't able to make it to the end of the first level after a few attempts (three). It's approaching 3.30am, so I'll play some more later this morning/early afternoon if I'm up to it (our rabbit is still alive; we think his kidneys are not working very well, so we are keeping him well hydrated and feeding him every hour during the day and every 90 minutes at night, it's exhausting, but we have seen some improvement in him. He even went for a walk around the garden yesterday and has been a little frisky with our female rabbit.

I'll add some more information about the game later if I'm up to it, as I'd like to find out if there are any save points . Every time I lost a life I always started from the beginning, which started to become a little tedious. That said, I do think this game is worth downloading as it seems a decent platform game. We've had a couple of very similar games given away here over the last 12 months using the same mechanics including the store though using different characters/assets, as well as the environments and items that are for sale in the store, e.g. Grimland (that was given away June 16, 2022). It's also very similar to Red Hood Metroidvania (never given away here), though today's game is less polished.
