Whiterabbit-uk,
When my cat Tiger kidneys were shutting down the vet was able to extend his life by about 8 months. She gave him an intravenous solution, not sure exactly what it was but it looked liked saline solution and some strong vitamins in a paste form that we put on his tongue so he would swallow it. Perhaps your vet could do something similar that might help so you all would be able to get more sleep at night.
Just a suggestion. Take care.

LadyLei,
Hi Lady Lei (CB), Thank you for the suggestion, especially based on your own experience.
Unfortunately our vets have been trying to have our rabbit euthanized for almost 2 years now. He developed a growth on his jaw around that time, and because of it, was unable to chew solid food, so we had to start hand feeding him. Because they are grazers, they have to keep a constant supply of food entering their gut otherwise it can become paralysed and can lead to a very painful death. That's the reason we have been feeding him between 1 to 3 hours every day for the past two years. It's also forced us to forgo our Easter and Summer vacations (barring 2021's Covid situation.); because we couldn't trust anyone to take the same care. We paid one of Emily's friends (who was home from university and lives about 15 minutes walk away and who's mother is a vet) £100 just to pop in every 2 hours over the 10 hours we were out to feed him while we attended both our kids graduations last month.
As part of my first degree I did some animal behaviour modules and know that rabbits can hide their pain and other ailments quite well, but knowing their behaviour when they are happy, for example they bink (usually termed binking) which Nezzie does regularly; especially when we let him run in the back garden; (if you're not familiar with the term binking, it means jumping in the air and twisting while running around manically and is a sure indicator of contentment and happiness)
If we thought he was suffering, we would not hesitate to take the advise of the vets, but seriously every time we take him for his teeth cutting which we have to do every month they suggest euthanising him, with a given look that says we're cruel ******d's.
As mentioned in previous comments, we feed him a paste like feed (crushed rabbit food, rescue feed and macerated vegetables and fruit {he loves apples, which we have an abundance of at the moment as our apple trees are loaded at the moment}), which does not wear down his teeth. They grow remarkably fast, so to ensure his mouth isn't damaged due to having teeth too long we have them cut regularly (every three to four weeks).
Again thank you for the advice. We do ensure he is well hydrated all the time; especially after last weekends incident.

This game is exactly the same but with different scenery of Grimland which was given away a few days ago. The only difference I could spot is that the boxes are smaller in Grimland so standing atop one is actually unsafe if one of the giant mushroom monsters is patrolling, whereas in Red Hood Adventure it looks like you are safe if you're standing on one of those. I always die on level 3 after the second timed door, and I haven't seen any save points so far. If you lose one life on a level you are put back at its start. And of course losing all lives put you back at he beginning of the game

Today's game comes to us from Steam which was recently released to the platform August 10th, 2022 so it's a recent game. Right now, as of 5:43 am PST, The game is on sale for $1.19 USD for a permanent copy and regular price is $1.99 , it comes with 4 achievements for those achievement hunters out there.
This version of the game is very much an alternative of the Red Riding Hood classic story line we knew as a kid, well loosely opinionated version of it that is. In fact to be honest, I don't see any connection to it as there is no real story line to it but the game just boots to be able to play.
But there are some good RPG elements to the way the game plays out. Gold is actually apples in the game which buy you weapons. And then you have your typical platforming action where you must figure out how to progress in each level.
On the first level there was a block that I had to push in order to get further to the right of the screen. The game shows a Square icon when using a gamepad so I assume that the developer had a Sony PS Controller in mind when creating the game. The XBOX One controller works just fine however.
The jumping of the character, be careful, it seems to have a rapid jump feature built in, I held down the jump button and the character kept jumping. This could be a good or bad feature depending on the situation you're facing in the game. Very strange!
This game in all though is very decent and is more playable than some of the other ones that were given away of the platforming type. It's just that you have to work with the iffy hit and weapon collision data and so forth and really learn the game.
So if you want a permanent copy I'd say go and get it, besides you can't even get a candy bar for $1.19 these days its way higher priced than when I was a kid priced at around 50 cents for a candy bar.
