I've only just seen today's game (6.30pm); unfortunately I'm not going to have any time to play the game because it's my game night with friends. I did install and quickly checked the game out, It looks very similar to the first game (Highway Racer 2) given away on the 26th August.

Highway Racer 3:

In Brief:
From the short time I've checked this out, it appears to be a 'fixed' version of the one we received over a week ago called Highway Racer 2. It has all the same features; the difference being you can access some of the things that were broken in the previous (v2) version. These fixes allow you to change the appearance of your vehicles such as different paint jobs, different rims etc, and you are able to purchase upgrades, which wasn't possible in v2.

The four different modes are still the same, chang9ng from day to night etc; and the game play is identical to v2. There is a much nicer and better polished version of this game (at least it has the same name and similar mechanics) HERE. You can see a video of todays version HERE.

Notes on Security
I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game and it found zero hits from 56 antimalware engines. The downloaded executable may include some low level adware that only opens your browser to Falcoware's home page after the game has installed and places four shortcuts onto your desktop (which can be safely deleted once the game has installed). The installation does not inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to Falcoware's home page when the game has been installed, it earns Falcoware games some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away free. This update seems to have fixed issues found in Verion2 recently given away here.

However, I I have now found it will not close. I have to use Ctl-Alt-Del and open the task Manager to close it.
Overall I still like the game.

Jan,

Hi Jan, To close the game you have to return to the main menu by clicking the pause button in the top right hand corner (assuming you are in the main game). This brings up a menu; the bottom button says Main Menu. Click on that to go back to the main menu, then click on the circle that denotes an off switch {located at the top between where it says Credits and the title of the game} to close the game down.

i.e. Please see images below: note where the mouse pointer is with the red star like flash.
