But is it fun to play? ;) Well, all of these comments are relevant. I tend to agree with mike on the why topic. And, to be fair, I didn't really disagree with anna wanna's comment last night, just thought we don't want the language to get out of hand here. I tend to agree that some of us reasonably well off westerners have gotten a little soft. I'm not sure I can kill a pig, but I sure like ham. :P Everbody's different. I think we wouldn't want every game to be unicorn's, lolipops, and rainbows. At least there's a certain amount of cleverness to this setting, even if it might be seen as perverse by some.
But how does it play? lol Well, I figured it was my time to step up, since the other commentators contribute more quality here than my erratic, erratically timed contributions. So they've earned the right to talk about other aspects, and not just game play.
Aaaannnnnddddd, won't play on my ancient XP machine! "not a valid win32 application". So, I'm no help at all. Which is probably true more often than not! ROFL Oh well. Thanks anyway, GGOTD, game providers, developers, moderators, and quality contributors. Will try and be more useful next time. :)

Why just why.... Would a developer make a game as such. I am not a religious person by any means but I played through a little bit of this game and kind of got the chills by the devils voice at the opening.
We've been given away games in the past that had mild amounts of blood in game but with this game, it takes shock factor to a whole new level and turns into a satanic cooking game.
The tutorial is way too long in my opinion. Although the subtitles are helpful in game since the opening is in another language.
I do love a good horror movie, however with some shock value it just don't make sense to make a game like this.

"Why just why.... Would a developer make a game as such."
In a word: Marketing. [And I'm not implying it was a good/bad choice.] There are plenty of low cost games available, & a game dev targeting that space needs to figure out some way to entice you to buy their games rather than the competition's if they're going to be successful. Ashoot thought this was one way to make the game stand out from the crowd, which it apparently does. Whether that increased sales or not I have no idea.

sailorbear510 aka Jason,
Well it "IS" Russian. Some of them seem to be rather blood thirsty. Don't care for time management games so won't be trying it. Seems to me there are a lot of nasty killing games out there. Don't care for those either but they seem to be very popular generally.

JDP,
Are you meaning ''Story Of Kyle'', which was in very bad taste? Though I wasn't familiar with the story until the game was given away and it was mentioned about how inappropriate it was.
