#79- Tell him to click on the top word empty and it will throw up a page to put his name in. You have to have your cursor right in the middle of the word and it will turn green, then click.

When i get to the second level it freezes

Nice game the grandson loves it but cannot save his name all the spaces say empty. But then a freebie is a freebie glad I didn't pay for it I would be pissed.

In response to #71, sukibabe, thanks for the response. I am running XP Home SP2 and am using the normal Windows cursor, nothing fancy here. I did find out that I was able to get to another menu during the game by hitting the escape key. That screen enables me to exit or save and exit so that must be how the game is set up. True? If so, it reminds me of some of the games I had years ago on my Windows 98. Other than that, I do appreciate this site making these free games available to us. Thanks to all.

You gotta be kidding. My first chance at reviewing a game, and it won't even load. I'm running XP Pro SP2, and it tells me that I need more software (that wasn't installed with the game) in order to play. Nice try, but if you want to promote your new stuff, make sure it works for people to try.

Keep receiving an error when I try and run the game.

I am not a great fan of arkanoid games, but you don't have to be to enjoy this game. It is nicely implemented all around, and just tempts you to go on from one temple to another, demolishing everything. Great fun.

Are you using a custom cursor or an animated one as your normal cursor?
You also did not state your OS!

I have found using animated and custom cursors don't play well with most games, even if they have there own on-board(in the game itself)custom cursor option. If you are using these types of cursors, switch them to a normal(I am assuming your using windows)one!
I like to run animated and themed cursors, but always switch to a windows one to play games!

Reminds me of the Arkanoid game that I played on my Amiga 2000 computor years ago. Ah, Amiga. I really like the graphics. I have only played the first two levels; but just had to comment before turning in for the night. Once again Realore Studios has produced a great game. Looks like my grandkids will be hogging the computor again, :}

Unable to activate. The screen just hangs.

I really like this game! Downloaded and installed with no problems. I love the sounds!

It crashes every time I finish the third temple. :-/ Other than that it's a decent Araknoid clone, although the Engrish would probably keep me from paying for it.

Very much fun. Ok Vista Home Prem. Self activates. Great addition to this category. All the prior positive comments hit the mark.
Great graphics and effects. Seemed bit better play when set Light to Normal from default of None. Doesn't seem to be any mouse sensitive setting so be sure you have fresh batteries or charge. Physics of ball
took a bit to adjust to. Higher levels expect to miss some balls that just can't be gotten due to short angles. But plenty of lives and bonuses to make up for that. Challenges.

Please stop providing games like this, especially from Realore - I have far too much work to do and these games are FANTASTIC! They rope me in and force me to spend hours on them! The great graphics, absorbing patterns, and totally addictive gameplay are so good they must be illegal! Oh all right then, if you insist - keep them coming. Thanks GOTD (I think). Now, back to the game.

Game downloaded, installed, and activated fine, but when I click on icon to begin playing, I just get a black screen. Task manager gives software_vertexprocessing not initialized. I have uninstalled and reinstalled - still with no problems on installation. HELP!

I like this game very much. I, and my wife both liked Egyptoid 1. This version 2 is very similar to 1, but different enough to want to keep on playing. It isnt a real challenge to play, but the fun is in playing the game. Lot of eye candy. Having to make quick decisions as to what (bonuses) to catch with the paddle, and, what is a bonus, and what is a hinderance. aka, faster ball, slower ball, bigger paddle, smaller paddle, regular ball, power ball. You have to think sorta quick. Just give it a try. I think that most people would like it very much!! It activated and installed without a hitch. I would rate it a 9.2 out of 10. I really do appreciate GAOTD and Realore letting us have this game!! No joke, this is a very fun game!!

I am really enjoying this game but I'm having the same situation as #36 is. When I open the game, I seem to lose my normal cursor. When I select "Play", there is no way to get out of the game unless I hit control-alt-delete and "end game". I cannot pause the game or save the game. Is this the way it is suppose to be?

Freezes on the opening screen for me too, anyone any idea why as it looks to be a decent game, Mouse dissapears and only option is to press esc and exit the game

This is my first time playing this type of game, I just recently started playing match 3 type games. This site and all the helpful advice that comes with it has helped me try different things. Thank all of you for your imput.

I keep trying to download this game (Egyptoid) but each time I try a web site building program that I have keeps trying to open it. I can see that somehow .zip is associated with this program but when it asks me to set a default for .zip I don't know what to set it to. I have Vista and usually just let it open .zips. I don't use a separate software program. BTW, most .zips still open properly Can anyone help?

Thank you Realore and GAOTD for this re-offer - I missed it the last time. The dsl download/setup took under 3 minutes on my Windows XP system, with the 'mouse' game play like the first game, much of the same type music and with the 'easy, normal and hard' mode options.

I am thankful for this re-offer, but I, too, am hoping for another 'new' offer becoming available tomorrow.

Download the game this morning and finished it by 3pm today, both Normal and Hard..way to easy but lot of fun..I hope there is a 3rd version soon that has the level a little harder to play. Great game play, nice graphics, good game control, lots of action. Sometime you may have an issue with the ball as it travels, may get lost with all the action on the screen..I give a 7.5 ( out of 10 ). Would get a higher score is there were more levels..Thanks for a great game, even if it was a little short..

tho not my favorite genre, this game has lots of extras and good graphics. it loaded fine on my ancient 1.7 (6 years) with xp home and 512 megs of mem and has played well to the 6th level. i always enjoy games that i can "test" for my 6 year old grandson, he likes it too.thanks again ggaotd.elderwebster

I have recently retired. First let me say I am really new to playing computer games and feel fortunate to have stumbled across this site. I downloaded this game and played with it for awhile using my mouse. Would it be better(smoother) if I used something else to control the action? I am having lots of fun despite feeling quite guilty for all this new found playtime. thanks

I got this game last time and still have it, and still play it. It's one of my very favorites. While I got totally engrossed in East Side Story and spent a week to solve it, this one is a keeper too. If you missed it last time, get it this time around. Would love to see another one like East Side Story.

I recall playing the original all day this past Xmas . . . what a gas! It was my first (and possibly last) marathon with this genre as, when I finally quit and hit the sack, bright lights kept flashing in my closed eyes (THE detached retina symptom)
I had a detached retina a couple of years back, had the surgery, etc . . . was doing well until I OD'ed on this game.
Soooooooo . . . you older folks (I'm 58) be aware of this. Can't be sure, but am all but that this greatly aggravated my situation, which continues to this day.
