The ancient city in the desert seemed empty. Only after getting lost in the city did they realize that something was wrong. The fast shadows from behind the houses turned out to be the same monsters. Quickly grabbing the thrown weapon, it looks like you are not the first person who decided to look for treasure in an abandoned desert city, shot at the monster. Now you need to quickly find a way out of the city.

A First Person Shooter made with the Unity Engine

The Game

The game is okay in small doses. I would have given it a thumbs up if it had more levels/area's to explore, but it seems there is only one area to explore and that is only a small area. You wander around a village that is supposed to be in the middle of a desert. The building do look like they would be found on the outskirts of such a place maybe a hundred years ago, apart from the modern day containers scattered around. You have to survive by killing monsters that re-spawn periodically. Movement is via the WASD keys and to change your weapon use the 1 to 4 number keys. You have a health and speed up power ups and start with a pistol with limited ammo. Thankfully you'll also find a revolver a mace and a machine gun (like the one the gangster Machine Gun Kelly used). Ammo does run out fairly quickly, but all the weapons and magazines re-spawn frequently. The main aim is not to get trapped by the swarms of monsters, some of which look like those found in Greek mythology.

There's also a free standing version of Whispering Willows directly from the developers site (Interact with the spirits of the dead, solve the puzzles of the mysterious mansion and help Elena find her missing father in the horror/adventure puzzle game: Whispering Willows.). Indie Gala are offering an excellent post apocalyptic car racing /shooting game called Death Track: Resurrection which was one of the first games I purchased on Steam back in 2009. The Indie Gala version is free standing.

And again one of those Unity engine games with unclear keybindings and therefore utterly unplayable.
The software also rapidly heats up my CPU, GPU and motherboard.
Uninstalled.
