Monster Truck Trials Arctic is basically the same game as last weeks offering Monster Truck Trials apart from the fact it’s set in the Arctic (lol). I’m wondering whether the version you can get from Gametop, which has almost double the number of levels isn’t in fact both of these games combined? Last weeks game had 8 levels today’s has 7; wheras the version available over at Gametop has 15 (curious.

The installed folder is 121Mb in size and installs to the path C:\Games\MTTrialsA. You’ll need to create a shortcut yourself.

The game is free standing which means it can be played from a memory stick or even from a CD, though you may get lag if playing it from a CD.
Music:
The in game music can be changed simply by exchanging the MP3 files found in the following folder, with whatever music you want to change them to. There are only two files called Level1 and Menu. You will have to change the music you are replxcing them with to the same names:

There’s an excellent racing game that you may like as an alternative called ATV Quadro Racing. It has good graphics and the feel of the game is okay. It may be too easy for the experienced racing game fan, but if you’re not a regular player you may find some challenges there. You can earn points by doing jumps and tricks while in the air. It doesn’t have the same physics as todays giveaway, but it’s okay:

Comment by Whiterabbit aka Stephen — July 19th, 2009 at 3:02 amWell, this looks like another version of a couple weeks ago’s GGAOTD. Has 7 levels and 2 cars. Game play’s exactly the same, with exploding barrels you can’t jump over, with more challenging slopes and etc. Haven’t tested out if all of the options in the game engine works, but I expect similar results. It doesn’t look like Gametop’s got an Arctic version, so this might be relatively new. The camera’s zoomed in more, it looks like, but the rest of the stuff, like lack of help, ridiculous jumps, etc, seems to be unchanged.
It’s still good to have more levels than the previous version, though.
