If you have the card you need, but it is behind other cards, you can just drag and drop it in the stack. It allows you to mess up your game and be unable to complete it.

Developers usually test what they develop, they maintain a minimum quality. If they are unable to do so, then they do not deserve to be called as such.

In other words, DoubleGames need better programmers and developers. Maybe hiring people who actually know computer programming? Not just the kid who came out of high school and pwns in WoW with his l33t h4xX0r teh magi blah blah blah...

In computer programming, even more in the game industry, there is a minimum quality to maintain, and DoubleGames need to know about it.

Tried to download the elite solitaire, but a file sharing site to download it came up not like the normal download. I downloaded it and then it came up and said couldnt open it. I was leary on the download as it was as it took me to a completely different site.
I deleted it right away, as I don't think it was the legit site.

Um...no. Growing up doesn't have anything to do with "not needing" nudity. I agree that the game should not have contained nudity (as it was offered on this site) but that is GAOTD's fault, not the fault of the user who posted comment #32. I believe a lot of you people need to relax. That being said, no more DoubleGames. We have been insulted by their terrible offerings for several weeks now. It's time for this to end.

I dont understand how anyone could of played the game with the erotic deck without knowing they had picked them...i mean comeone it showed the decks of cards you could choose from and even then the title on it said erotic. So Please dont make this sound like it is some kind of porno card game. It is totaly up to the players choice which deck they use Now for myself ill only play with the erotic deck. Love it..just wish the graphics was a little more detailed....

When I came back to read further reviews, (I had some time to kill, ;) I couldn't understand how practically every review disagreed with mine (#34) with relation to the game graphics .....

Then it hit me ...

I always play card games in a minimized window and I'll bet you all had your windows maximized! So I checked it out and of course you're all correct - so for me and probably many others, its lucky that its the only genre of games that I prefer to play minimized. :)

I do apologize for not mentioning this, as I usually test both before I review .. but c`est la vie ;)

I still don't see why they need to keep doing this. If they wrote good software to begin with, why would they need to use shock and/or sexuality? This stuff has nothing to do with the program.

Bad Points:
The graphics are very hard to deal with.

The cards require effort to see what they are.

The graphics quality reminds me of the CGA monitor days.

The nudity ( albeit poor quality ) is inexcusible given that there is no forewarning of it's presence.

This game is funny. It is simple and clear. But i really don't know why most of the people here are afraid of playing cards with such naked beauties. :-) I love playing with them. Perhaps GOTD should provide us with more hot strip poker games here. :-)

I vehemently disagree with people complaining for the sake of it, especially when the software on this site is given away free of charge. Likewise, comments such as "I don't like these kinds of games" are unconstructive - what one person likes another one won't - not all software will suit every person every day. So I am not one to complain lightly but - this game is genuinely dreadful.

I like card games and play Freecell and Solitaire from time to time on my pc. Both versions of these classic games offered by DoubleGames this week were downloaded by me - and both were uninstalled within 10 minutes.

The interface of both DoubleGames' card games this week have been equally as poor as each other. The cards are hard to make out and look grainy; they are not sharp or clear to see and this makes game-play difficult and uncomfortable. Moreover, for any true fan of the games, such card and background designs are unnecessary. My biggest qualm though is the fact that DoubleGames give consumers no credit - SURELY anyone past the age of pre-pubescence fails to have the need for nude women on playing cards??????

As the first comment said, this is not just bare breasts but also spread legs, one of which (the background) has an evil-looking clawed hand holding a crystal ball in front of the cartoon lady's genitals - if the creators of the software really think there is a need for such graphics then I personally think they should concentrate on more engaging games to make their programs stand out as this is just ridiculous.

Overall, 5 out of 10. The game does what it is supposed to do with some minor problems.

When switching decks, I had to exit program for change to work. I was also as many have said before, suprised to find adult content without a warning for those that download for children. I have no personal problem with it, but feel it apropriate to have a warning for minors.

I have to agree with the naysayers this time DoubleGame. I really don't like the nude setting. The illustrations are not very good and I usually like cartoonish illustrations. Have you thought about doing a program where people can insert their own graphics? I don't know if it is possible or not. Something like a suite of cards with pictures of all your favorite boyfriends on it or all your family members. Or maybe a dart game with the possibility of putting your hated boss's face as the bull's eye. Or a game where you can shoot up little men with your boss's head on them. Personally, I would love one where I could burn my boss in effigy complete with crackling, burning sounds. Something like this could have some therapeutic value!

Funsol has some really awesome Solitaire games. I believe they have come up with thousands of ways to make solitaire different. Check them out...they have several levels of their games.

I must confess that my prurient interests got the better of me, and I downloaded this game just to see the "erotic" art. I was not impressed. Actually, I knew before I downloaded that it was another DoubleGames product and that it would probably not stay on my computer. But I wanted to give it a chance. Oh well, it's gone now!

I would like to thank the GOD team for providing free games for us. I know I'm not going to find a game every day that I am interested in, or that lives up to my "standards", and I am not overly disappointed when I do not find a game that I will play. I have found a few, and I am thankful for those. I don't write very often, but I come here every day.

I would like to suggest that once it a while, if possible, a good sports game (i.e. football, baseball, golf, racing, etc.) would be greatly appreciated by some of us. I would also like to suggest getting in touch with Everett Kaser at kaser.com about providing some samples for this site. Over the years I've sent quite a few $$$ his way, and I still play some of his games. (e.g. I've played over 4600 games of Sherlock since installing on this computer just over two years ago.) He has several games, all of which are "logic" puzzles meant to sharpen the mind. I'd highly recommend these games for parents of school-age children, and I recommend them for adults, too.

To date, I have not commented on the DoubleGames offerings. However, after so many of them, I simply must voice my opinion. I have downloaded a total of 1 game from DG and uninstalled it before even finishing one level of the game. Boring game play and poor graphics are not for me.

When I see that a game is from DG, I read the comments and move on. I will not download any of their games. Period. The nudity is uncalled for and I must agree, there should be a warning of some sort. Although, by now, visitors to GGOTD must realize that if a game is by DoubleGames, it will almost definitely include nudity, poor graphics and dull game play.

I do appreciate so much the games and software given away by this project. But, please, GGOTD team, don't offer anymore of DoubleGames software.

To all you whinners and complainers...grow up! If you don't want the game then just move on. No one is forcing you to download it! GAOTD doesn't have to give us these games for free yet they do...be grateful!

Another Solitaire game huh? (laughs)

The game downloaded, activated and installed well. Game play is smooth and crisp where it needs to be (ie: sending cards to other stacks,) the same as any other Solitaire game except for bonus cards which give you added points.

The graphics are excellent, with quality 'true color' if you compare the card graphics to a normal deck of cards.

Settings for the game are only for deck and background selection.

PARENTS BE WARNED! While I've made no big deal about cartoon nudes in the past - this background is more explicit. It has a naked girl sitting, with her legs splayed wide apart and a crystal ball high up between her thighs. I definitely do not think that this is a concept for pre-teens or young children to see.

Here's a surprise - it's not just a game. If you click on the tiny window icon at top left - it gives you access to a whole selection of tools, including macros, program priority, kill application, a multiple paste function, eject/load CD drive, free physical memory and believe it or not, a lot more.

While I don't trust a game developer to implement these tools wisely, I will be keeping and playing this game for its great graphics and bonus twist. In fact, I'll probably uninstall the other ordinary solitaires in favor of this one.

Thanks again Double Games, this game is definitely a keeper for me, but please do parents all over the world a BIG favor and lose the erotic art on backgrounds and card decks.

Recently we contacted you regarding a game by DoubleGames that had nudity and asked that you at least provide a warning so we didn't link to them when there was nudity. We have an MSN Group with near 35,000 members, some are minors and MSN would close us down for linking to a game with nudity.

You didn't even give us the courtesy of a reply and now you're offering another game by the same company with nudity and not a word of warning. You are in danger of losing our members as customers. We will be removing the thread with links to you and discussing whether we will allow anymore.

downloaded it...played it..sadly disappointed at the appearance of the cards at first. The gameplay is just like any old solitaire game with some bonus cards for points...I think. Not sure what thats all about, maybe it is to make you feel better about the poor graphics. I will uninstall it after a couple more games, I can feel it.

At first i thought, "wow, another card game, and solitaire at that". Then, i noticed the publisher. I downloaded, and, wow, naked people >_>. Besides that, its just standard solitaire. Uninstalled.

DoubleGames so-called 'work' lacks playability and relies on shock value and nudity, enhanced by the plagarized graphics and cloned work of other, more-competent, developers. To rate this company, I would have to use negative numbers.

I am not impressed at all..Normally I have no complaints, but I must say this one is a no, thumbs down game.. I downloaded it, played it, with the different backgrounds and personally I was not impressed to see the lady bare it all..I am not a prude but this is not appropiate..

Guess what? They got 5 sets of card graphics you can select from, but the actual graphics used in the game won't change no matter how many times you try to change them.

Well, it's just Solitaire. Graphics are poor with the full screen. Nudity doesn't offend me personally, (though I'd rather not see a woman spread eagle) but you should respect your visitors and post that there's nudity choices.

I absolutely would not spend even one penny on this. Why would anyone, when there's free Solitaire everywhere?

My usual rant that goes with ALL games downloaded these days. KEEP THE EXTRA CRAP OFF MY DESKTOP!!! Adding your extra 'download more games, etc' icons to my desktop only infuriates me. The more times I see them, the more it burns your name into my memory, ensuring that I will NEVER pay for ANY of your games. I even found some in my start menu yesterday. Shame on you!

I started to automatically put negative because it looked like the same as that terrible elite freecell.
However, I actually downloaded this game and it's not that bad.
I guess doublegames fixed some of the problems.
Pros:
You can choose nude; it's not chosen for you.
The graphics are better so you can see the cards in this one.
You make the choices of what cards to put in the stacks and you can bring one down, also.
Cons:
Simple game, no path to complete like in elite freecell.
When changing backgrounds, the change is not complete (some cards have the previous style). Had to close program and reopen, then choose a new style.

Overall, it's better than what DoubleGames gave us with Elite Freecell.
Would not buy it, of course.
And, will be deleting it off my computer because it's not anything special compared to the solitaire that comes standard with Windows.

Once again, GAOTD offers up what looks like an innocuous game only to find out later that it contains adult content. Disappointing, to say the least.

Well, I'm 2 for 2 with Doublegames.
Solitaire looks just as bad as Freecell.
The game is clumsily designed and the "bonus" cards make it a cheap copy of the game available on Pogo.com. I won't even comment on the "erotic" card set.
Another Doublegames offering that was removed from my recycle bin about as fast as it was installed.
Thank you GGOTD for offering us something new every day, this just isn't what I want.
