Please note; the game hasn't been released onto Steam yet. The release date is early next year. What you get sent to your email if you enter the giveaway is a download link for a DRM free copy of the game; which I believe is an αlpha or very early βeta release.
I've had significant issues accessing the main menu and the options menu and so far have only been able to run the game in the lowest graphic settings. After some trial and error clicking (the mouse pointer was invisible), I have managed to access the game. After a brief introduction via several pages of images the game menu appears.

The Game
I was given a copy of the game so that I could post a review before this offer went live, but I've had some issues with the main menu, and starting the game up. It looks like the game is in beta or possibly even Alpha) at the moment (it asks you to wish list the game on Steam). There is no mouse pointer on my installation, which makes it really hard to select the main menu items. When I finally managed to access the options menu, I wasn't able to save the changes, which meant the graphic was set to the default setting, which was the lowest texture setting i.e. very low and the resolution was 1920x1080.
The game starts with an introduction, with several images of ancient text that fade away quickly, leaving medieval looking silhouettes, then the main menu appears. Once you get the game to load it's in the third person view. There is a tutorial session that you can't skip that introduces you to the games key bindings and game mechanics. The movement keys are standard i.e. WASD; unfortunately I found movement really sluggish and does not flow like a regular game of this type.
If you've ever played any RPG's from about 15 years ago, for example Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, or Fable, the graphics are similar to those games; and are dated by today's standards, but are okay. Also the game play appears to be pretty standard RPG fare, with edged weapons and upgradable magical abilities but no guns. If you are not concerned about having the latest super duper graphic engine powered game, then once the access to the main menu has been updated, this looks like it will be reasonable RPG, which has been slated for an early 2021 release on Steam.
I'll update this review once I've been able to save my changes to the options menu and spent some time in game.
You can see a couple of game play videos and
Key Bindings & Options
WASD = Movement
I = inventory
J,K & L = attack modes
R = Select Weapon
T = Opens journal and flips pages
E = turns music down while in the options menu (not working yet)
Q = turns music up while in the options menu (not working yet)
Use I/O to open and close inventory pages
Use I to swipe through all journal pages
Use arrow keys to navigate the inventory slot and then sacred item slot
Q = use activated sacred item
E = use activated crafted item

The options menu includes Resolution vSync, AA and Texture quality as well as a music slider where E tuns the music down and Q increases the volume. There's also a full screen/window toggle

Whiterabbit-uk, Hm.. I don't mind the graphics at all and it seems interesting. 40 GB though! Ouch on hard drive space. I just installed something I'm playing now too. I might have to go an uninstall binge to try this out. O_O

Thanks for the key binding, that really helps when I force to use Joy2Key as I'm not a big fan of keyboard gaming, having killed one poor device that way.

Cheers for today's review and do stay safe.

I honestly feel cheated. The title of the giveaways leads people astray

Paulo Monteiro,

Hi Paul, sorry you feel that way.

The game hasn't been released on Steam at this time, so there are no keys available. Instead you get the game as a DRM free download, (and free to boot), which is surely the better option? It comes already registered, so you are technically getting a licensed product, plus you don't require Steam to play the game. I don't understand how that can be construed as being cheated?

Still, you are entitled to your opinion, which is why I have allowed this and other comments about this so-called issue to be posted despite it not being a comment about the game play.

Stay safe and well.

The site clearly states
10000 FREE
LICENSES
And when you enter it says Thanks a lot for your support! The key was sent to your email address. Make sure to check your junk and spam folders if you can't find the key.
Thats why I feel cheated and lied to a DRM free download has never required to enter a giveaway like this its a click and a download pops up. Giveaways entered gives you a key.

Edward,

Hello again Edward, The giveaway team would have to edit the site to change the meaning of the giveaway. For something that is being given away for free, I think the extra work just isn't justified. Sorry you feel cheated.

Personally I'm always happy to receive a game for free, be it a free Steam key or a DRM free copy, even if it's not the final release. At least it gives me a clue as to whether I'd buy the final product. I've downloaded many αlpha releases since getting into gaming as a hobby 20 years ago and have received a lot of free final releases after contacting the developers of those αlpha releases and offered my services for free as an αlpha or βeta tester. The first few times time I downloaded free alpha versions of what ended up being superb and original arcade games were for Crayon Physics (Kloonigames), DarkSide (Pi Eye Games), World of Goo (2DBoy) and AaAaAA!!!: A Reckless Disregard for Gravity (Dejobaan Games). I ended up receiving a free copy of all of those developers games for beta testing their products and can say all four were original arcade games, with fantastic game play.

The αlpha for the last game mentioned comprised about a 20th of the final game minus some additions that weren't available until the final release. I was so taken with the αlpha version I contacted the developer to say thank you and ended up βeta testing for them and was given a Steam key for the final release for helping with βeta testing. They even gave me a level editor when I suggested they add one to the game, which sadly wasn't included in the final release for some unknown reason, but was still functional for my copy. The other two developers gave me free standing versions, but I bought the Steam keys later to help support the developers.

Whiterabbit-uk, You can excuse it or make excuses all you want I want what is promised I entered with the premise of a license and key and thats what I expect I did my part then they need to do theirs. You don't tell someone that if you do this you get this and renege on it after its done. If I tell you I am going give you $100 to call people up and promote you product and then at the end of the day they give you a $1 you would go bonkers and demand what was promised. I don't like being lied to or cheated its not a feeling unless something is given to fill in what was suppose to be given then cheated and lied to is exactly what they did. I am sick of people excusing this crap because people like me get taken advantage of and its people like you that encourage it. If this is not made right then the opposite is going to happen I will never support them ever again and I will tell everyone how dishonest they are and remove my support. I am not your fly by night customer I own over 6000+ games on Steam so I do plenty of supporting.
4,877 Steam games + 587 DLC + 1,116 Steam Limited + 187 Banned Games + 107 non-games
I am not just some bot looking for a free game I am looking for what was promised for doing what was asked of me I did and I earned it.

Edward,

Hi Edward, the game hasn't been released on Steam yet. It's not due for release until next year. What we are getting is a free standing beta or possibly an alpha release.
