Literally the best game I have ever played in my life. Ever. The best gameplay I have ever seen... So it is all downhill from here my friends...my life has peaked...
Oh sorry, was just finishing up a review for another game... This game sure cries out for a story, doesn't it?...Cookie Monster I'd understand, but whats the beef with veggies, Mr bread? I mean what do vegetables want more than anything in the whole world? Peas on earth. So here, bread is armed and dangerous, and who is the person behind the scenes supplying them with all the weapondry and upgrades!... Oh I see, put your brain on hold. Shooting up the veggies from room to room, and if you get hit too much...well, your toast.
Ok, vampire survivors this is not. i'd like to enjoy this game as these games hold a bit of fun in them, but its a bit hard with the controls mapped to WASD and the mouse. It controls well enough but some of us prefer to be able to remap them to the arrow keys in game. I managed with a 3rd party utility. I'd suggest removing the flying veggies for the first level and just let us ease into the controls and gameplay....Were the flying enemies in the FIRST level of ROBOTRON: 2084 in the arcade? No, and if its too hard right away some will just give up. Perhaps in a second level the speed should be half of what it is for the flying veggies and should be delayed a second or two before they start flying into the screen... Then maybe at current speed on the third and if you die allow restarting on the same level you were at. Didnt really get far enough yet to discuss the upgrades due to all that. I might also remove the floor graphic around the doorwars you can go through to other rooms as for some reason it look more like a barrier to not go into it.
Feel free to try it out, right now to me its a bit too 'hardcore shooter' in feel and high difficulty for me personally,. but with cartoony fun graphics, although with guns in the game that also may not appeal so much to that crowd too much.

Not sure I'm going to try this, but I do want to let people with old 32 bit systems know that most of these from Falcoware that Steam has listed as requiring 64 bit systems WILL PLAY perfectly fine on 32 bit systems. At the time of XP, 64 bit machines were just starting to pop up. If any game here says Windows XP, it's worth a try on a 32 bit machine. Every one that I've tried so far to test this has worked. This one looks a bit low tech for me, although that doesn't really determine at all whether game play will be good. No reviews on Steam, so waiting to see what others have to say. If there are, hopefully, no moderation issues.
