Puzzle on the theme of old paintings.

The Prism is a 2D puzzle platformer about two pixels, 02 and 03 lost inside a vast prison. Unlike a normal prison, this one is alive. It is called the Prism. Its eyes stare from a distance and watch its prisoners carefully, analyzing their actions and breathing down their necks. You will face many challenges but you don't have to do it alone. You can play by yourself or locally with a friend.

The game holds many challenges and puzzles. Different elements and environments are added to create more unique situations using the abilities you have been given. As well as that, you will need to use each other as a means of getting past puzzles, opening doors and continuing your journey.
The puzzles are challenging, the prism is dangerous and the world is cruel. It is possible to escape, but at what risk?

Sorry about the lack of a review today. My internet went down last night (the whole area was affected) and wasn't back up until later today. I've had other things to catch up on and have only just managed to get some time to download todays giveaway. I'll be retiring in less than an hour, so it's unlikely I will be posting anything but a few screen captures and a brief explanation of the game.

The Prism
In Brief

I found The Prism to be well made platformer , with some excellent puzzles in a retro pixel style. The aim is to get one of the blocks named 02 and 03 that represent pixels to the opposite side of the level. The only way to do this is to work with both blocks, one of which is used to get the other block to otherwise inaccessible places. You control both blocks using WASD for block 02 and the arrow keys for block 03. There is no mouse control. When you first load the game up a window appears saying ''The Prism on your PC needs the following Windows feature:

Direct Play''

Please see the last image for details.

I presume I already had direct Play installed because I didn't agree to have it installed via the window that popped up; yet the game worked perfectly. Direct Play which is part of the Direct X software package that most people who play games will already have it installed. If you are unsure, press the skip this installation button . If the game won't work, you will probably need to install it. If the game works, you probably already have it installed.
The latest free game from Epic Games is For the King, a procedurally generated game with a challenging blend of strategy, turn-based combat, and roguelike elements. Also available for free is the excellent post apocalyptic survival game and second in the Metro series, Metro: Last Light Redux HERE. The spiritual successors to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series.
Notes on Security
I've scanned the re-installed game using Virus Total, where 61 engines cleared the installed game (zipped) of any malware. You can see the scan results via the following link: (you may need to copy and paste the link into your browser. For some reason Windows defender keeps blocking it when I try to add the code I usually use.

If you scan the zipped giveaway download, you may find that at least one engine (usually Dr Web) detects adware, but this is a benign adware that only redirect your browser to Falcowares home page once the game has been installed. It's the only time it happens and earns Falcoware some advertising income, part of which is paid to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away for free. No malware is injected into your system. The low level adware is restricted to the games executable.
