You need the message you get from Steam that says the key is a duplicate, i.e. that it has already been redeemed by another account. The email you got with the key isn't enough. Also, please don't post it here as this is for comments about the game. As it is a problem you need to contact the giveaway support via the contact form, which you'll find HERE

J'ai participé a se steamcrate sur se site, et c'est une vrai arnaque, on ma envoyer cette clé hier (Asteroid Bounty Hunter:776E0-DXBG6-D4GT3) et elle es deja utilisé sur un autre compte steam donc impossible de l'utilisé sur mon compte... se qui es enervant c'est qu'on te demande d'ajouter des informations sur tout nos compte et au final on te donne un jeux des années 40 et qui au final ne fonctionne pas du tout.

Absolutely, and if the community follow my suggestion, they could possibly swap their game key for games that other community members have received but aren't interested in. I'll set up a thread in the forums (if I remember), would be nice if it worked. I may have to do the swapping with respect to emails though, but we shall jump that hurdle later., if two agree mutually.

Well this is what happened, not sure if i done it correctly. a few days ago when this started i clicked the join and win, did the steps. I came back a day later to do the daily stuff and got a few more entries. I currently have 18 entries. I wasn't sure if we needed to signup to create an account or not. I went to their site to create an account. i typed in my info, name address, phone number. the dropdown box where it asks for state doesn't list any states for united states and it wouldn't let me continue to sign up or create an account. I gave up on trying to create an account because of this. Only states they offered in the dropdown box looked like states from other countries.

I presume you are talking about a Steam account? It should be available anywhere in the world,. especially America. the highest number of Steam community members live in America. Maybe you have filled in part of the application wrongly. See if there are any threads online that cover this. Try contacting Steam help. If you need an account to do this, I could perhaps contact them and ask what the problem could be. I'll email you so that we can talk; email sent.

The monthly fee isn't applicable to this giveaway. what is being offered is a game from the steam crate. )though i may be wrong and you may be getting a full crate - IDK). but there is nothing to pay.

I would recommend that the company should let the users pick at least one game that they want rather than letting the games being selected randomly. Do you need a console to play the games? Xbox or PlayStation?

I considered entering this giveaway but found a lot of negative reviews for SteamCrate on Reddit and elsewhere. I would advise everyone who wins a key to be very cautious with this company.

Hi TM, the negative reviews are about the the type of games being included in the bundles each month, and those are from people who have paid for the privilege. We are getting a game for free, so those complaints d not apply. What they are basically saying on Redd-it is that the types of games they are giving, which are quoted to be anywhere between $40 to $700 worth of game s each month are also included in many of the bundles are are usually selling for upwards of 95% of their retail price, so what they are paying for their monthly Steam crate isn't really worth what is being quoted. As I said, what we are getting doesn't cost anything but a few moments of time.

That said, for those that complain, there are those that love it. Also when you consider that the number of comments made usually only represent a very tiny percentage of the number of actual community members subscribing; for example, with the giveaway project only 0.01 to 0.005% of the those downloading a game actually bother to make a comment (those figures are an average of the numbers i have calculated over the last few years, when looking at the number of comments to downloads); and of those (i.e. 0.01% to 0.005%) less than half a percent of those comments are about the game. That implies that the greater majority of community members are happy.

Obviously no review is possible for this giveaway. with 5000 keys there's a very good chance of winning a key for an unknown game.
