It installed and I played it a couple of times. Now it is July 4 and tried to play it and it got as far as me clicking yes on "allow to make changes to this computer" and it wouldn't go ahead and load but just disappeared.
It was fun solitaire games while it lasted.

Hi Suzanne, once the game has been installed you should not get that message i.e. "allow to make changes to this computer" , the game should immediately load to the 8th Floor splash screen. Did you click on the correct shortcut? The game should have installed to C:\Program Files (x86)\MyPlayCity.com\Solitaire - Legend of the Pirates. If you go into the games installed folder and create a new shortcut you should get the game to work. Alternatively you could install the MyPlayCity (MPC) version then delete the fsdata folder. The giveaway version is exactly the same as the MPC version with the InchData folder removed. If you have to reinstall do remember to uncheck the three check-boxes during installation.

Looks like fun. Note: I had to restart in Safe Mode With Networking in order to get it to install.

Nice little solitaire game. Sat down to play a few rounds and ended up staying much longer than I had planned. Addictive. :-)

It started easy enough to get perfect all the time (although stopping the game with cards still on the table confused me a bit at first). However, it got harder quite fast and I'm a bit torn between trying for perfect scores and moving on to see the next layout. Those layouts are amazingly beautiful! I've finally compromised on moving on until I reach the end of the pack and then replaying all the imperfect games.

Thank you for your feedback. I did the same. Managed to get perfect scores for the first three levels of the first area, then lost it big time. didn't get another complete until the next area was unlocked. Excellent layouts, and great graphics. enjoyed playing this game, but had to wait until everyone had gone to bed. :)

I do enjoy solitaire games of all types. I haven't played this version in a long time and am really enjoying it. I'm still in the newbie section, because I'm going back and replaying the games that were not perfect scores. I'm kind of anal like that. As for mini games, I don't care for them much, as they just distract me from the main event. If I like a game, usually I don't care much about the story line or the mini games, just wanna get right to the game for the game's sake. So if you've got a really good game, the distractions and extras aren't really needed. I don't have a lot of time for game playing, but when I do want to play for a bit, I enjoy a good quality game. Many thanks to all the game developers who contribute to my collection. I don't post here much, but please know that I appreciate GGAOTD, and also to you WR, for your amazing patience with all of us, some of whom can be quite trying at times. I don't see nearly as much slamming here as I used to, and I appreciate how you seem to have "cleaned it up" and the comment section is much more pleasant and helpful nowadays.

Hi Naomi,

The neater looking comments are in part due to the tech team making various changes to the site; for example no comment is visible to the community now apart from the poster and the moderator/admin until it has been moderated. This has enabled me to ensure that no one sees the inappropriate comments that are posted. Thankfully they have been much reduced since the changes were made a few months ago.. Plus ignoring the trolls that were posting pretty dire comments several months ago helped as I think most trolls like people to reply to their taunts. Thankfully there is very little spam being posted now as well (possibly due to an improved spam filter), all of which have improved the look of the comments. :) Thanks for your feedback.

Quite an interesting game. Pretty fun variation of solitaire, if you like solitaire, you'll love this one. It gets pretty challenging the further into it you get, but it keeps it from getting boring.

Solitaire Legend of the Pirates

A enhanced solitaire type game from BigFish and MPC that we had already, so cannot comment on the downloading/install other than to say it did before for us. If you like card games, this one adds several elements to the game, although did seem a bit dated to me, and at times I do like them, but did play well, and gets quite challenging at times.
Does have 6 or 8 different places to play, and some you unlock on the way. It is a great winter time game, and if you enjoy card games at all definitely one you'll want to check out!

Know I missed last week, as we had a family member pass, and were busy with that.

Condolences to your family and thank you for your feedback. Been taking a break; doing things with family since my kids have finally finished their exams. It's been a beautiful day, too nice to stay in playing games;instead been gardening putting up a cane frame to support our raspberry plants, so I've not had the chance to explore this game fully. I don't remember this game being given away previously?

Installs and plays on win10 with no problems. Tutorial is rather frustrating in that some of it covers up the cards making it difficult to do what it's telling you to. OK graphics, nice music.

I've not posted a full review today. Only played the game for a few rounds. My first impression of the game is that it's worth downloading if you enjoy playing solitaire games. The card layouts and bonus additions add to the basic game and I enjoyed playing for the brief time I could spare. Will play more later today and maybe update this review to include a conclusion.

Solitaire - Legend Of The Pirates downloads to a 64.9 MB zip file that unzips to three files, (a setup.gcd security wrapper, the set up file and a read me). Those with multiple hard drives are able to save games on any drive they wish. The newly installed game is 68 MB in size. Solitaire layouts are here to be solved, cope with all of them to become rich! Multicolored gems and chests of gold are waiting for you as a reward at the end of levels. You are to match cards that are coming before or after the card you have on the game board. For example, if you have a card of Queen, you should find a card of King or a card of Jack regardless of their suit to put them on it. Don’t be quick not to miss a possible combination and you’ll be a success. Besides ordinary cards you can see special golden cards, try to put them away from the playing field at the first instance to complete the layout. If you manage to remove all these cards before the cards return to the deck, you’ll receive the maximum number of points.

Play the game Solitaire: Legend Of The Pirates and get bonus cards with special sign – treasure chest. If removed, such cards will give you extra coins or bonuses.
