Road Puzzle 2022 is a swap the pieces puzzle game similar to Fountains Puzzles, Animals of the World, Water Puzzle 2022, Puzzle Spain & France 2022 that we were given over the last month as well as Quick Tiles and Planet of the Fat Men that we were given back in January.

Road Puzzle 2022 is a road transport puzzle where you don't need to drag and drop elements, just swap them by clicking on them with the mouse. The game has 12 levels, each puzzle consists of 45 elements. In this version, buttons have been added to the panel: sound, mute, hint, next level and exit to the main menu. With the right decision, you will automatically go to the next level, but if the passage of the level caused you difficulty, then you can skip it. The game has a choice of levels and you can start playing from any level. There is a help button on the panel, click on it if the game caused you a problem and you don’t know where to put the next element, when you click on the button, a full image will appear, which will automatically disappear after a certain period of time. The Game:
Each puzzle is timed; you get six seconds to see the whole picture then all the pieces are jumbled up. Click on two of the elements to swap places until the image is completed. All pieces are already oriented correctly. There are 12 levels, with each puzzle containing 45 elements.

Conclusion:
Road Puzzle 2022 is slightly more challenging than the usual Jigsaw puzzles we get from Game Rea; however, the puzzles are still relatively easy to complete, taking roughly 6 to 8 minutes per puzzle. With around an hour to an hour and a half's game play to complete all 12 puzzles depending on how fast you are. :)

The very first jigsaw puzzle we were given back in February 2008 was called The Infinite Jigsaw puzzle, which had an amazing amount of configurability, such as the ability to change the shape of the puzzle pieces, change the size of the puzzle from a 24 to a 1024 piece puzzle (You'd need a very large monitor of at least 30'' to be able to solve the larger puzzles as well as the ability to upload any image you had. You can see that giveaway HERE.

At the time of the giveaway a couple of the community suggested other free jigsaw puzzles that are still available and that also have the ability to upload your own images and select different shapes and sizes e.g. Astra Gift Maker HERE, and from the same site, BigJig HERE and Lena Games for a selection of other jigsaws HERE. You can also do a free daily jigsaw curtesy of Shockwave HERE

There's also commercial versions that are very configurable for example Jigsaws Galore HERE and BrainsBreaker HERE. you'll almost certainly be able to find lots more free and commercial jigsaws just by Googling. :)

If you are stuck for images to upload to the above free jigsaw games (which I doubt), there are a plethora of sites that offer free images; one of my favourites that I've visited often is called Digital Blasphemy, where you can download free versions of commercial images that are ideal for the above free and commercial jigsaw puzzles. Notes on Security

I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found 2 hits (VBA32 & Ikarus) from 60 antimalware engines. These (number) are amongst only several antimalware suites that often tag Falcoware Games compared to most better known and more reliable antimalware engines; so, it's very likely to be a false positive.

The downloaded executable 'may' include some low level adware that only opens your browser once to Falcoware's home page after the game has installed and also places four shortcuts onto your desktop (which can be safely deleted once the game has installed).

The installation does NOT inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to Falcoware's home page following the games installation, it earns Falcoware games some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away for free. Once you've installed the game, there are no more browser redirections. This is because Falcoware removed their installer almost two years ago (that installer would show an advert for a game while the game was loading (which always took about 20 seconds to ensure you'd seen the advert) . It would also always open your browser each time you closed the game after playing it.)
If you're still not convinced of the games efficacy and want to be absolutely sure that the game is safe to install, please use a sandbox program first, to check that the game is safe to install before installing it to your C drive or other drives on your computer (assuming you have more than one drive).

There are free sandbox programs such as Sanboxie, GeSWall, BitBox, Windows Sandbox, Bufferzone (a six month commercial license was given away via the applications side of the project back in December 2009 HERE), Shadowzone, as well as others. (You'll find them all on the same page from Techwhoop.

Free or Discounted Games:
Please check Delenn's threads over in the giveaway forums HERE (non-Steam games) and HERE (Steam games) for the latest freebies. It's kept up to date frequently, (thanks for keeping this up to date Delenn, very much appreciated). There are a lot of sites that now offer free games such as TooMKY games, MyPlayCity games, Gametop, FreeGamePick and others. One of my favourite's that has been around for around twenty years is Caiman's Games, where you'll find thousands of freeware arcade games covering almost every genre I can think of. You can find Caimans games HERE. The site used to be updated every week, but since the founder of Caiman's, Rudy Versele's passing on the Feb 3rd 2010, it's been kept running, but not updated by a colleague of Rudy's. There's a wealth of freeware games that can be found on the site that are well worth checking out.

Steam Games:

For the latest Steam sales check THIS Steam database site out. You can list the games in 'price' & 'percentage off' order by clicking the headers. If you link SteamDB (the Steam database) with your Steam account, all games that you already have will be highlighted in green and those in blue are on your wish list. When there are Steam games being given away, you'll see the percentage off as 100%. It's worth checking this regularly to make sure you don't miss the best deals and freebies.

Now available for free is The Wild Eternal an atmospheric walking simulator that the developer has converted to freeware on Steam, so there's no time limit to grab it as it will now always be free. :) Also converted to freeware back in February is Roadclub: League Racing - a top down racing game, that I purchased just before the developer made it free to play (I wanted to support the dev).

Tales from Candlekeep: Tomb of Annihilation and Tales from Candlekeep: Complete Edition are being removed from Steam from the 20th May. They are both on sale until the end of this week.

Any game you claim while it's being offered is DRM free and will remain in your Indie Gala library permanently (unless Indie Gala goes bust) and can be downloaded at any time, under the showcase or freebie section; 118 games are still available. Not all games that go into the showcase remain free and are removed after a short period; e.g. the recent adventure puzzler Figment that costs almost £15 on Steam; so, you should grab them as quickly as you can. To find your games go to your account and from the drop down menu select 'My Library'. When the page opens find the 'Showcase' button in the banner along the top of the page and, from the drop down menu select 'Showcase'. There are only 8 games per page, so, if like me you have added hundreds to your account/library. Epic Games:
The latest from Epic includes two comedic games; i.e. Just Die Already - an old peoples mayhem sandbox game, created by the designers of Goat Simulator. You are old and angry and you've just been kicked out of your retirement home. How will you survive in a world that wants you to Just Die Already? (remember David Carradine in Deathrace 2000, it's nothing like that). Also the single player Paradigm - a surreal adventure game set in the strange and post apocalyptic Eastern European country of Krusz. Any game you claim while it's being offered is DRM free and will remain in your Indie Gala library permanently (unless Indie Gala goes bust) and can be downloaded at any time, under the showcase or freebie section; 118 games are still available. Not all games that go into the showcase remain free and are removed after a short period; e.g. the recent adventure puzzler Figment that costs almost £15 on Steam; so, you should grab them as quickly as you can. To find your games go to your account and from the drop down menu select 'My Library'. When the page opens find the 'Showcase' button in the banner along the top of the page and, from the drop down menu select 'Showcase'. There are only 8 games per page, so, if like me you have added hundreds to your account/library.
