I didn't care for this game . . .not my cup of tea. PLEASE get some more puzzle games - similar to Crystal Cave Gold.

Downloaded in just under 6 minutes. Some posters here seem to be firmly stuck in a 20th century time-warp when they claim it takes *hours* to download and refer to this as a *BIG* game.

Life can be so cruel!

Yup, I installed it and play it for 5 minutes.. Bummer, it gotta go...
So, I uninstalled it, and clear out everything involved with this crappy game...

I'm disappointed that the Amazon Listmania feature (which is supposed to suck in some of your handpicked favorite album art) doesn't seem to work. But it's a decent game, and seems to run fine on Vista.

I tried both sites, downloaded, but crashed when trying to run. I really wanted to try this, as dh is really into vinyl. Oh, well.

Downloaded onto Vista and it worked fine. Seemed to be a fun game for a little bit, but got boring rather quickly. Don't think this will be one I will be keeping for long.

This game is really fun to play for about 15 minutes. If your drivers are up-to-date and if your firewall settings allow the setup utility to install the game, you should have no problem. I agree with #34, nobody would pay $ for this because it's for promotional purposes. Thanks!

Further to my comment #4, using XP, and having the game crash every time:
I right-clicked on the short-cut icon, and chose 95/98 compatibility. I can now play the game.

downloaded, activated, installed and ran and keeps crashing at startup screen so i can't really agree with the rest of you on here about all the fun you're having playing it LOL, but once again, thanks "GOTD" for the free software! ..... HOTHIL

#39 - this game didn't ask me for an internet connection just to play it. Ran well under Windows XP, no crashes, and does not require one to buy any music. That is optional.

Unlike yesterdays Minigolf, this one ran very well. But not an easy game! I do like it though!

Thanks Game GOTD!

#16, just because your desktop is "new" doesn't mean the game is gonna run on it. You have to update your video drivers (something your system will not do automatically for you) for games (any game) to run correctly on your computer. 99% of the time this is why games crash, because they are being run on drivers that are over a year old (or older). Everyone should update their video drivers before they give up and/or say this game doesn't run properly. Most new computers aren't actually shipped fully updated, you have to do most of this stuff manually. Sad, but true.

This matching/memory game is like a toy in a cereal box... there to get you to buy the cereal.(in this case music) The game is fun but I don't think they should ever ask money for the game because it is a promotional. A clever, well done and fun promotional, but still... to pay twenty dollars to be offered goods to buy? What a deal!!!:)))))
For free, it is fun and if you want to be reminded of vintage music that you may have forgotten about, you will find this game worth downloading.

I was having problems with it crashing on me also. I have XP. I right clicked on the icon, clicked properties and chose the compatibitliy tab. I chose windows 2000 compatibility mode and now it plays fine. It's not a bad game. I'm enjoying it.

No problems with download, activation or game play. Uninstalled this game almost immediately because sharp eyesight is needed to play it successfully.

Decent game, however, when the game switches to new music during gameplay, with the "wild card" turntable, the game hesitates and you end up messing up. I would enjoy it much more if I could disable the music playing feature.
I am going to uninstall.

Not a bad game, but I found it too hard to be able to find the cover that matched the record, they were not clear enough....

Great marketing tool concept that happens to be a game that is fun. Lots of drag dropping though. I though I had it down to memorize the covers then upper levels they started spinning and gold reduces the image. Payoff for continued play is unlocked items adding a "what's next" variation to the game.
For all us freeloaders, the music site it links to has a free song of the day. Plus you can preview other music in the background while playing the game - more marketing. BTW: game settings appear if you pause the game.

This game crashed two different computers (one a brand new desktop) after 5 minutes of playing. It would have been an interesting game and I might have bought some of the old records... but if I can't trust the game, how could I trust the music?

When Funky Farm was offered, I bought this game (the purchase price was only 4.95, not 19.95 as shown on the page), and Josh has personally replied to several messages I have sent about technical matters. For free, this is a steal. For 4.95, it's still one of the best games I could buy. My wife and I are both addicted.

As a side note, I still have trouble with the customization link, you can create an Amazon Listmania list, and it's supposed to use your albums in the game, still not getting that. I may try to install the giveaway version and see if that works.

The game gets very difficult as you progress, but it's a great game for 15-20 minutes of time-wasting. Try it, you'll love it!

EH okey, i can understand that if the game was FREE, i could accept that you would be able to buy old vinyl records. BUT normaly you will have to pay $19.99 to buy a game that sends you to internet sites which allows you to buy old vinyl records for real money. This is just plain wrong. WHY should you pay money for a game that is a poor excuse to send you to others sites where you can buy old vinyl records.

SImply by reading the comments i have decided not to download this game.

This is actually a free game in and of itself, used to promote the music service in the game.

#5 - Wait, they don't sell you an actual vinyl album?

#9 - Zoom out, you are too close to the actual vinyl. LOL!

As to Vista, I've got to wonder how long we'll hear of people having problems. How many years did it take before Windows ME problems were not a daily complaint?

And to be honest, I don't really see a problem with the linking to where you can get the music. More a service than a trap, really.

What?! A free game with a profit motive? Diabolical. What will they do next -- offer 2 for the price of one? Oh, the wretched Capitalist Profit Motive.

The game is fun, though. Get it, folks!

At least an original form of game. It's fun to see many old records. But the gameform is too easy. Just a simple form of Blocks. And when you are asked in the game to buy a record (supposing that's for the purpose of the game) it links you out of the game to their website, where you really can download the album (by paying of course!). This final commercial link in the game makes it very suspicious! So in a scale from 0-10 I give the program 5 points.
