Quick Tiles is another bright and interesting puzzle game in which you don't need to drag and drop elements, just swap them by clicking on them with the mouse. The game has 20 levels, each puzzle consists of 45 elements.

Quick Tiles is another bright and interesting puzzle game in which you don't need to drag and drop elements, just swap them by clicking on them with the mouse. The game has 20 levels, each puzzle consists of 45 elements. In this version, buttons have been added to the panel: sound, mute, hint, next level and exit to the main menu. With the right decision, you will automatically go to the next level, but if the passage of the level caused you difficulty, then you can skip it. The game has a choice of levels and you can start playing from any level. The difficulty of the game is medium, suitable for both adults and children.

The Game:
This is the same type of puzzle that we got last Thursday 13th January called Planet of the Fat Man apart from this time each puzzle is timed; you get six seconds to see the whole picture then all the pieces are juimbled up. Click on two of the elements to swap places until the image is completed. All pieces are oriented correctly so there's no need to turn the pieces.

We get 20 different images to solve, each one containing 45 puzzle pieces; it's relatively easy to complete, taking roughly 1 to 3 minutes per puzzle.

Notes on Security
I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found 1 hit (VBA32) from 60 antimalware engines. These (number) are amongst only several antimalware suites that often tag Falcoware Games compared to most better known and more reliable antimalware engines; so, it's very likely to be a false positive.

The downloaded executable 'may' include some low level adware that only opens your browser once to Falcoware's home page after the game has installed and also places four shortcuts onto your desktop (which can be safely deleted once the game has installed).

The installation does NOT inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to Falcoware's home page following the games installation, it earns Falcoware games some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away free. Once you've installed the game, there are no more browser redirections. This is because Falcoware removed their installer over a year ago (that installer would show an advert for a game and then open your browser each time you played and then closed the game down.)

The best Indie Bundles sites that have been operating from around 2011 are the Humble Bundle and Indie Gala sites (though the latter isn't as good as it used to be) where you'll sometimes find decent bundles with over 90% off the usual price of the games included in the bundles. The Humble site is in my opinion the best; though a more recent addition that is worth checking out called Fanatical games looks to be a serious contender for that title as they have some very good bundles. I've restarted a project I originally started back in 2008 that used to be called Good Games to Grab, where I posted free games over in the forums on a daily basis. I won't be posting them daily this time; only as and when I have time and the inclination. You can find the new forum section entitled 'Free Game Project' HERE

So far I've posted three excellent games i.e. Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe (a squad based solo shooter) and Battlegroup 44 (a free standing mod for Battlefield 2 that is a follow up to the original Battlefield 1942) and Slam Tilt (an excellent pinball game with four tables). Plus, I've moved over to the new forum, a couple of games from a failed restart of this project from just before the pandemic; (one of my favourite breakouts called Breakquest and an android game called Messy Paths).

Last weeks free game from Falcoware i.e. Black And White Apocalypse by the developer hammergames is apparently always free and can also be downloaded as a colour version. The community member Space pointed this out yesterday. You can find both versions over on itch.io via the following links. Black & White version, and Coloured version. :)

You can also find 'all nine' of the developers games (for free) HERE. Some of them look like they are worth investigating. :)

Whiterabbit-uk, There are 45 puzzle pieces in the game, not 35 as indicated in the description. 1-2 minutes to complete a level? We need more time to complete the level.

Thanks Megan, My quoted 35 was a typo error. My keyboard is very sensitive (a Razer Black Widow stealth); I didn't have time to proof read the short review I posted. Thanks for pointing out the error. Also, I've added an extra minute to the time it should take to complete a puzzle. That said, I'm sure it will be different for everyone.

Even though todays puzzle includes a timer, you can still take as long as you wish.
