Where should I go to download Virtual Villagers 2????

I, too, wish to uninstall this game but like #55 I am finding no way to do so. Please help!

I downloaded this game a couple of weeks ago, installed it n stuff no problem, yet when I went to play it, it was all wonky. I tried removing it and installing it again but to no avail. Don't think I'll be giving this game a good review, do you? Thumbs down for me Im afraid.

Can someone tell me why I can't uninstall this game? It does not show in the add/remove progams. My computer keeps crashing and this did not start till I downloaded this game. I'm running windows xp.

Worst game ever. It doesn't all fit on the screen. Back to the drawing board, developers. Thanks for trying, though.

#11 Oh yes most of big fish games are great!

Liked this game but it has crashed dozens of times. I tried resetting the resolution and now I just get a black screen and have to shut down with Task Manager. Any other suggestions for uninstalling? Tried CCleaner but it can't help. Really don't want to muck about in the registry if I can help it.

Anyone who missed the arkanoid game called ‘Gem Ball’ from several weeks ago, or anyone who likes the game, but has lost it, due to a new install of windows or a format You can get the game from the following freeware site; however it's called Egypt Ball, but it is the same game. Also you do pay a price in that when you close the game down it opens up a page to the freeware site, however I've had no other problems with the games I've downloaded from this site. (There are quite a few games to download including some others that we’ve got from game giveaway of the day :) ) You do so at your own risk though.

Thanks for responding. I can't do sys restore as it will 'clean' the software that i dl the day after. (sign........... guess I have to re-collect again) I just hope that GOTD will help me.(you can check that I did dl these games before from my email for ;9 (sob........ )

Ok who ate my post, cough it back up....oh well i will wait a few hours and look for it, if not here i will repost it lol.

#41 Ginny, thanks for the help, however this did not work for me as i was having the same problem as #18 & 32, sooooo I took #38 Carole's advice, and did the system restore, going to miss that game as I did not re-download it, oh well GGOTD always has goodies so will be back tomorrow :)

Well, Pac-Man -ish games can be quick entertainment, in a pinch. I think the biggest problem is the description. It sounds like a 5-year-old wrote it. However, I know you guys at GAOTD didn't write it, so were all the victims of poor literacy.

I am downloading this at this time. Note to #18 about uninstalling. Go to CCleaner.com and download the latest version, free, and it will delete the program and also take any of it or anything else you have deleted out of your registery. Great program.

if you are going to keep doing clones, please not pac-man, never was crazy about that in the first place. Haven't had a chance to try them all yet!

After trying it for a while now, I must say that this game is very nice to look at and plays very well (only with keyboard). Starts out with basic play, adding power-ups etc as you progress as well as some unexpected twists such as a ladder that lets you leave the level early. I'm afraid that now I'll have to continue playing it to see what other surprises await! Thanks GGotD.

I noticed that this was made by the same company that made 'Ice Puzzle Deluxe', which is one of my favorite giveaways from here of all.

HELP!

I lost all my games cos I try to 'tidy' my screen. After 'moving' to my NLauncher, it 'delete' all my games......... can GOTD or anyone help by advising me how can I possible to get the license version for yesterday BrickshooterEgypt game and my Aqua Pearl game Please.................... I am so sad now, x(

'life is so 'meaningless' now to me'

This game made my system unstable and it "crashed" the three times I tried it. The graphics are on the bottom 3/4 of the screen, which means that the command buttons are inaccessible & unusable. When I changed the screen size, the graphics compressed and became fuzzy. Since I am having so much trouble with this on my system, it must be uninstalled, BUT, ALAS, no uninstall button and no mention of this program in the add/delete programs section. ?! It's not part of my bargain to try free software if it harms my system or I have to figure out what to delete and hope for the best in fooling around in the registry to uninstall. Any uninstall suggestions or other options out there?

I like very few pacman games - though was playing iggle pop last night and that was fun - this looked similar, so gave it a whirl - wish I hadn't - now must figure out how to uninstal - not worth the time I'll have in it - screen came up with only top 2/3 and left 2/3 visible, rest was completely outside the screen of my monitor (and guess where the controls for the game are located?) (and the guy starts on the start screen at the bottom) Then the guy didn't want to go where I trying to send them (and I'm good with keyboard control after practicing in the early 90's). Very disappointing game. Graphics were nice.

I guess that I'm not the most sophisticated game player, but I found this game to be a lot of fun. I just had to figure out how to make it fit the screen properly and then it was really great. Anyway I truly appreciate this website and have downloaded quite a few fun games, so thank you.

Big Fish Games is a portal.. Static X developed the game and submitted it here. They also submitted it to Big Fish who sells it and gives Static X a cut of the profits. I don't think Big Fish develops any of their games themselves, and I don't think they can give any away(unless maybe they have an exclusive lisence).

One big comment that i don't see posted i had to change the settings in options to the lower resolution as i couldn't see the whole game and that may be why some are having problems or say it is freezing:) hope that helps someone

Activated and installed easily enough - launched the game and got nothing but a black screen. This happened twice.

Tried to uninstall to reinstall - and found NO UNINSTALLER - either within the program OR in ADD/REMOVE programs. HUH??????

This program will not install on Vista and once you have tried you cannot uninstall it. I was looking forward to giving it a shot but instead had to spend the morning trying to get it OFF my system. How disappointing. Next time I'll check the comments first since I'm not the first to have this issue.

I am in no way interested in pacman clones - they're usually way too easy and have an early boredom factor of 10/10 after one or two levels - and that's even if you play till the higher levels to see how difficult it could become.

I think young kids would love it - as long as they haven't yet seen what other games are available.

First of all thanks for all the great games! This website has given me and my family hours of FREE entertainment over the past few weeks. I noticed bigfish games are on board which is awesome! They have some really great games. May I make a request? VIRTUAL VILLAGERS 2!! I downloaded the trial for that game last week and I really enjoyed it. I would be forever greatful if that game was a free game of the day game!

The Pacman clone is unfortunately the last game I would try from them. I'm old enough to remember playing the original ones in the Arcade so ....I had my fill on Pacman.

Screenshots look nice enough to, far better then the last couple of Pacman clones that past by here and knowing Big Fish I would be greatly surprised if it didn't handle properly. That said, I'm disappointed to hear that there isn't a decent un-install included.

So many pacman clones, so little time lol. I love what you do GAOTD but we need some variety please. Variety IS the spice of life! Thanks but no thanks this time, but keep up the great work!

Lack of a simple uninstall. - Thumbs Down.
I am surprised "BigFish Games" supports this game.

Here's a review. This game sucks. It is slow to respond, slow to play, monotonous and lacks visual asthetics. Also, it bombed my video when I exited the game. My 1024x768 display was compressed into half the screen (with the bottom half being blank. My mouse would not activate any controls because the screen showed the icons, but the system thought they were in a different location. I had to bring up the Task Manager and shutdown my system. Luckily, this reset my video. The program will cause nothing but heartache. I'm running XP/SP2 2.8GHz 512MB DDR SDRAM Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics controller. - Johnny B.

D/L & activation OK. This game appears to have higher video demands than any other I have tried from GOTD. After I rebooted & closed all programs the game still didn't display any better. I could see enough of the game, that I had to use the keyboard ONLY. (XP-SP2)
I have tried both "ZSoft Uninstaller" & Windows "Add / Remove" trying to remove this game without any success. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Hans comment #18. Your right there is no uninstaller for this game; however there is another way. Go to the folder where you have PacaJuma Quest installed and delete it. Then go to the start menu, click on Run, type in regedit then go to the task bar and select edit. Pull down the drop down menu (by clicking on it) then select 'Find'. In the 'Find what' box type in PacaJuma Quest and then click on find next. Repeat this process till you've cleared the registry of all the PacaJuma references. (Before you do delete any registry entries, just as a safety measure, do a restore point, or a back up of the registry; also ensure you only delete entries that have the words PacaJuma or Static X Studios). Then return to the find window and type in Static X Studio (unless you have other software from this distributor/developer and repeat the find next process till you get to the end of the registry. That’s it...The game is fully uninstalled. Just to check go back to the Start menu and select search then all files and folders. Type in PacaJuma Quest and then search. Apart from the recycle in there should be no more entries, however if there is, just delete them. Finally, run a registry cleaner if you have one.

Tried two different downloads, FROZE my computer both times. Hard to shut down the hard way. Very disappointed with this game.

For those that like games of the Pacman platform, this game will be OK. I personally like it for the inuendo of educational ideals seeded into the game. This will help the kiddoes think about things, and possibly ask questions later, all while playing an enjoyable game.

The drawback for me was the lack of mouse support once inside the game. I was able to use themouse for set-up, and I checked options, but no dice. I would advise Static X to implement that (mouse control support) throughout before asking people to shell out money$$ for this game. Over-all, I give it a 7 out of 10. As always, thanks to GGotD for offering their fine service to all of us grateful souls.

Oddly I would never have touched a Pac man game until recently (following the money mania game). Even when Pac man was a favorite in the arcades, I avoided it as I didn't find it inspiring at all. This recent spate of Pac man games has converted me somewhat; although Arkanoid games are still my first love :), I'm spreading my wings and consequently my family is lol.

The game play is good, the graphics are okay and the overall feel of the game is fine, so this will be yet another keeper. I give this a 6 out of 10, but only because we've had quite a few Pac man clones
recently.

The games fun enough, but crashed on me the 2 games I played.

I'm not not big on games myself but I do enjoy games that are similar to bejeweled and majong games along those lines would be great.

registering to get the serial number and having to give personal
info such as our address etc I am going to be a lot more cautious
on what I download from your giveaways in the future. I don't have

I hate mazes, they just annoy me, a few here and there are fine, but this is like 5 in a row almost. Please start to mix it up a bit. I'm glad you provide this service, it's great, but I think you should try more modern games. Thank you for all the great games I've gotton since I've joined. =)
