Very good game. Made it to Sphinx level 6 and am now stuck.

I had to come back and comment on this game. I made it all the way through to the last level. Tried completing the level on my own (no hints) a couple of times and kept getting stuck. Finally, I started from the beginning of the level again, but this time I let the hints take over and waited for help for every single move. (yes - every single move!! - desperate to complete the game!) But this did not work either as the hints couldn't complete the level either - ended up stuck as well. So..... there is a way to complete the last level? Doubtful if the game "brain" itself couldn't do it.

I love this game because it is not timed and you can go back to the level and score that you left. However, my only frustration is that I see no way to go back to the begining and start over when you get hopelessly entangled. Can anyone help?

Another late comment, but I wanted to say that I would have paid for this game. It's definitely addictive--challenging and fun!

This site usually allows downloads until midnight. Why was the game giveaway pulled early when the other giveaway still states it has an hour and 15 min?

A bit late, but I wanted to say that this game is really fun, and the idea of 3-of-a-kind blocks is used in a original way. I expected something boring, but it wasn't. A nice change from all the pacman clones hanging around.

It's nice for 60 minutes of play, but not worth $19.99.

This is quite a fun puzzle game. It starts out easy but it does eventually get more challenging. I liked it!

The game installed and plays well for me, but when my daughter tries it from her restricted account, she doesn't see any text. The music and graphics are there, but the buttons have no text. Any suggestions?

great game .. enjoying it a lot.. and a game that can be played immediately with enjoyment and skill improving as learn to strategise.

Interesting game-slow but can be addicting. Different from Luxor in that you are moving bricks and not as tense.
I appreciate the free game GGOTD--thank you and Terminal Studio for giving away these games. I may not download all of them, but I do appreciate the offer.

#40 and #58......I played this game thru out the day and eventually quit it. Can't remember what level I got to but I was kinda far up there. Just now opened it again and it did NOT put me back where I was. It started me all over again. I had no trouble downloading it or activating it or playing it. Anyone have any ideas why it didn't save at proper level? Thanks.

OK HELP!!!! I downloaded the game, ran the setup.exe and when I want to get into the game, I'm getting "dynamic link library d3d8.dll could not be found in ....yadayada. Where is it, and why didn't it come in with the download? This is the first time I'm trying this and of course it's not working.
The install went ok and said I was activated and when I wanted to launch the game, it went to the internet and gave me a screen thanking me from giveawayoftheday. What's up? Why won't this play?

It appeared that there would be no problem in downloading but when I tried to launch the program it said there was an error and I couldn't even open the program. I deleted and redownloaded and got the same results. Looks like I can't play what looks to be a fun game.

No problems at all with activation and installation!

While this is basically from the 'match-three' genre, it's still quite different from other clones.

I'm not sure what the problem is with your installation, but thankfully it DOES save your score AND level, so that you can play an incremental game, instead of always starting at the beginning. I've exited out and launched the game several times at various intervals to test it, and saving scores and levels has never been a problem.

The music is great and is perfectly ambient for a 'thinking' game, as this happens to be. Since you have to think ahead 3-4 moves, the one thing you don't need is some hyped up music score as some games tend to provide.

Colors and 3D are wonderful, as are the various Egyptian graphics.

Options: Include separate volume sliders for music and effects (sounds,) and other choices such as full screen/show hints/custom cursor.

And YYYYYEEEEEESSSSSSSS for the mouse controls !!!!!!!! As opposed to the game developer forcing you to use the keyboard arrows.

This game is fun to play, accelerates to much more difficult levels and one that I know I'll play often. :)

Thank you SO much Terminal Studios for making your games available to this website for free download and objective criticism. It's lovely to see that you create games other than your last one that I downloaded "Race Cars," which I (and others in our home,) didn't enjoy nearly as much.

Nice one. Not very challenging (ok, around 40th level it stops being banal), but a nice and relaxing time-killer if one doesn't feel like playing something totally dumb.

Re comment #26 Carla. We have not had this game before. I think you may be getting confused with the arkanoid game called Egyptoid that was a giveaway previously. I just reread what I wrote above, comment #16 and it looks like I meant there was only two colours used. This is not so. I meant to say as you progress through the levels it becomes more complex with the addition of more colours. Sorry about that.

This is (in my opinion) one of the better match three colours games around. I'd rate it in the same playability category as Alchemy that was a give away several weeks ago. (They never did reply to my Email asking about the levels editor that was supposed to be part of the package)

Very nice game. It's another puzzle game, but this is one I haven't seen cloned a million times over. Good graphics and sound, fun to play. Thumbs up!

Re: #31 Teri: There's no obvious "save" button to click but games are saved automatically by profile. You don't lose progress by quitting the game, I just tried quitting twice (completely closing the game, not minimizing) and progress and score saved both times.

I can't get it unlocked!! It asked for an unlock code and there is none! Then it takes me to a web site that asks for my email address, when you put it in there is said you are not registered and to fill out all info including info from buying it. I thought this was free!! Some help would be nice! :(

The name Brickshooter Egypt had me thinking this was another arkanoid/breakout clone but it's not. It's a matching puzzle game, you click bricks to slide them over from the sides toward the middle to make matches of three or more in the middle. Bricks slide in line only so you have to plan moves by how the side bricks are arranged, how you know they will move by the pattern, and what's already in the middle playing field.

If that sounds confusing don't worry, there's on screen hints to help you figure out how the game is played. Just follow the on screen hints for a little while to figure it out. There's also an undo option that cancels the last move. When you don't want any more help these on screen hints can be shut off in options. Levels have no timer so you can take what time you need to plan moves.

It's a slow paced puzzle game with nice graphics and relaxing music. Options for sound and music volume, on screen hints on/off, fullscreen or windowed (initially opens in fullscreen), and a custom cursor option. When turned on the custom cursor option turns the default arrow into a hand wearing a large red-stoned ring, and the play area cursor into a more stylized arrow.

It didn't appear to have a way to save games but it does save them automatically by profile. It supports multiple player profiles and saves games and scores by profile. It's entirely mouse controlled which should please both those who require mouse control as well as those who prefer it. Even the initial "press any key" doesn't require the keyboard, a mouse click will do. Over all a very nice puzzle game.
