The Game:

When you boot up Nothing! the main menu is in Russian apart from the Help button. There appears to be no toggle to convert it to English, however, when you click on each button, you get an English page, for example the first button начать is your start page, which when open looks blank apart from a row of commands at the bottom of the page i.e from left to right Back, History, Save, Q.Save, Q.Load and Prefs. The next button Зarpyзить takes you to automatic saves of which you’ll find there are already some included. Along the bottom of the automatic saves page are a left and right arrow that enables you to scroll through various save pages, including automatic and quick saves; each page has the potential to contain 6 saves. The Third button Haстройи is the preferences menu where you can change the music, sound and voice volumes, text speed, auto-forward time, as well as a full screen toggle (also use the F key), rollback side views and skip unseen text and transitions. The last button выход is the Exit button. Which after several minutes of scratching my head, I opted to do.

Clicking on the enter key brings up dialogue, all of which is in Russian, so I couldn’t proceed further. Other keys such as S takes a screen capture. Apart from the Russian text the screen remained black. I checked a couple of videos and they were in English, but couldn’t find a way to change today's game giveaway to English. If anyone does discover if there is a toggle for English, please do post details. Thank you.

Conclusion:

I couldn’t make head or tails of this so called game. I doubt I’ll ever bother returning to the game. It sells on Steam for £0.79 HERE. You can read mainly negative reviews of Nothing! via the Steam community HERE .
