Mistake has cute low poly and colourful graphics. Run around a restricted area collecting crystals and avoiding the wildlife that constantly re spawns. You can pick up various power ups that recover health lost from the animals that have attacked you, speed up power ups around the arena that double your movement speed, double damage power ups, as well as double the rate of fire from your weapon. and increased bullet spread where you fire three bullets at the same time and new weapons which can be selected using the number keys. I've only found one extra weapon so far, a pulse laser pistol. Survive for a couple of minutes on each level to progress to the next level. There is no level map, but you'll find a continue button in the main menu that you would think allows you to continue where you left off, but when I rebooted the game after dying on level four, it started me from the very beginning, though it appears to keep some of your previous score, but not the one where I managed to get to level four. .

Lose all your health and you'll have to start from the beginning. Watch out and avoid circular glowing area that appear randomly on the arena; this is where animals respawn.


You have to pick up seven crystals to complete the quest. I've not succeeded in finding seven crystals yet, so don't know if that ends the game or starts a new level?

Yes, I finally managed to collect seven crystals over two levels and it just starts over on the new level. After two levels you change to a watery environment. I died after the fourth level and decided not to carry on as it's after 3am here and I need to retire. The under water levels become harder because not only do you have to avoid the various marine life there's lots of trash being thrown into the sea ; which if it hits you, you lose some health. Also every second level the animals get larger. trying to get you. I did take some more screen captures, but had forgotten that I'd turned off the screen capture program while playing one of my old favourite games (Battlefield Vietnam, because it uses the same key binding to take screen captures; whenever I took a capture with Ashampoo running, it would drop the game to the tasks bar, which was annoying, so I'd closed it down, but forgot to boot it up when I re started todays giveaway. Too late now, but I will say, the levels do look different and there are lots of new animals to see. When you shoot an animal, you don't kill it, you send it to sleep. When it sleeps it disappears. Only to respawn later.

Between each new environment (seems to be every third level, you'll get a few pages of a story board to introduce the coming levels.

Conclusion:
We've had similar games to this previously (the names escape me). With 26 different language options, this game should be open to a lot more people than the usual games we get here, or for that matter many of the big name games and well known indie arcade games.

The game play does become a little tedious (IMO) after a while, but it's an ideal coffee break game that'll take you out of your reality for short periods. You have unlimited ammunition for your weapons, though you start with just the one and pick up new ones via the power ups you'll find scattered around each level.
