Memory Kara

In Brief

Memory Kara is a memory game created using the free Construct 2 engine. It's an ideal game for children from the age of 4 to 10 (with support from family if needed).

The game installs to C:\Program Files (x86)\Memory Kara by default, but you can change the path if you wish. The installed game is 141MB in size. The Falcoware installer takes approximately 30 seconds to load the game, which defaults to a window. There is no options menu, but you can change the game to full screen via the buttons in the top right of the window. You can also close the game down via the X button, or send the game to the task bar and turn off the music via a toggle in the top right of the game area (I didn't get any music or sound effects when a level was completed even when the sound toggle was on).

This is a basic memory game where you are presented with a group of 12 images each one duplicated. You are given a few seconds to memorise their positions, then all the items disappear. You get about 30 seconds to find all the pairs by clicking on a pair, if you get the wrong item on the second click, both items disappear; only when you select the correct item on the second click will the images of those items remain, then you get to proceed to the next level. I only played six levels and each level had the same format. Whether different layouts are available later in game is something to discover. ;)
