Marital Story:

In Brief:
Marital Story is the second game from Interactive Pixel Entmt; we were given Under Siege a couple of days ago on the 31st May.

You can read all you need to know about todays game via the introduction above (just below the countdown clock). Ignore the Steam achievements because we are getting a free standing version not a Steam key. Though, if you want the Steam version (to support the developer), you'll find it available from the 9th June 22 HERE, (apart from todays game and Under Siege, the developer has also released eight other games).

You can see a couple of videos of Martial Story's game play HERE and one via the Steam store page HERE.

Conclusion:
My reactions are far too slow for this runner style of game. I can manage to get to the end of the first section, but fail miserably after that. If you enjoy platform games with some elements of a runner game, then this should scratch that itch a little. Download it and see; from my scans it's virus free. :)

Notes on Security

I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found zero hits from 59 antimalware engines. You can see the results of the installed games scan via the following link:

The downloaded executable for installing the game 'may' include some low level adware that only opens your browser once to Falcoware's home page after the game has installed and also places four shortcuts onto your desktop (these can be safely deleted once the game has installed with no effect on the game).

The installation DOES NOT inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to Falcoware's home page following the games installation, it earns Falcoware games some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away for free. Once you've installed the game, there are no more browser redirections. This is because Falcoware removed their installer almost two years ago (that installer would show an advert for a game while the game was loading (which always took about 20 seconds to ensure you'd seen the advert). It would also always open your browser each time you closed the game after playing it).

Sanboxie, GeSWall, BitBox, Windows Sandbox, Bufferzone (a six month commercial license was given away via the applications side of the project back in December 2009 HERE), Shadowzone, as well as others. (You'll find them all on the same page from Techwhoop.

Personally I've never had any issues with  any of falcowares games, even  when the Falcoware installer was included.

You can get Bomber Crew free via Steam at the moment. I don't know when it reverts back to the paid for version. so long as you grab it while it's free it will always be yours.?

This game is very challenging to the point where you know you have to know the controls of the game and so forth. WSAD seems to be the key binding with the W key the primary button you will use throughout the whole game to jump up to platforms with the Space Bar throwing the projectiles.

The character keeps running on the screen which reminds me of the constant running that Mario is doing in the iOS and Android Game Super Mario Run. You can see the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7qac5AZRlY Gameplay is similar in the game given away.

I don't like the idea of one hit to your character and the game is over. So you really have to keep playing over and over to make sure you don't take damage so you can complete the level.

This game may frustrate a lot of people due to the play mechanics if they are not used to this type of game. So if you're not a fan of this type of gameplay you may want to look elsewhere.

Thank you for your feedback Jason. Yes it is challenging. I gave up as I am pretty dire with all runner style games. I just haven't the patience to learn the mechanic to the point where I can anticipate when to jump etc. I've never completed a runner game; but still enjoy trying them.
