I had it from the last giveaway and like it! The graphics are very good
and game play is smooth. You do have to go from one activity to the
next making game play slow at times. Thanks for great giveaways and
Happy Holiday weekend!

Ahhhh, I'm so glad to see this game back so soon! THIS is the game I uninstalled cause I thought something was wrong with it - but I have to admit that I wasn't quite sure what the culprit was cause Microsoft had also installed a major update that weekend as well.
And White-Rabbit, I have that Razor game thing installed so maybe that's having an effect as well. Thanks so much for letting me know about that!
Anyhow, I played this game for awhile and everything was great! The only thing that I don't care for too much is the video at the beginning....I much prefer scenes where I have to click to go to the next page cause I'm a slow reader and-not to mention that I was just waking up after sleeping all day....so I prefer to be able to read at my own pace & click when I'm ready to move on. I only used the hint button once but it worked fine for me. Windows 7, Home Edition, 64-bit.

This is a nice game, but might have been a great game, had more details been put in, going from one part to another. The graphics are good, though not all of them. I like to see a LOT of detail in my favourite games. It gets a thumbs up from me. I am running it on a laptop, Windows 10. Nice quick download today. I did have the game too, from an earlier giveaway, but deleted it when I was short on storage space. I believe I will finish it this time. Thanks, as always to GAOTD, and MyPlayCity for the opportunity to try it.

Buggy game. Hint button stops working and you have to close and reopen to get it to start again. Bad descriptions in the Hidden Object scenes- there were one or two in Cyrillic alphabet, and a leaf was described as a piece of paper. And there is more aimless wandering than in most of these games, with no map that tells you where there is or isn't something to do. I like this kind of game, but this one's not a keeper.

Good game I downloaded when it was first given away. Only reason i can think of for the negative reviews is that it is a recent repeat instead of a new game.

I'm glad this is being offered again. I got all the way through it last time and made the wrong choice right at the end and lost. This will allow me a do-over.

This game downloaded and installed ok on windows 10 with no problems. You can choose the difficulty level in this HOG which I liked. The graphics are good and the story line. Well worth trying this game even if you haven't played this type of game before.

I did play this recently when it was given away here (we seem to be getting a number of repeats lately, but if they were over a year ago, I kinda enjoy revisiting them!) and I remember liking it a lot, so I wanted to see my comments on it from June to see if I could add anything useful this time, but the link in WR's review above to the last review was for Twilight City, a very different game. WR, maybe correct that---or is it just me? :)
Anyway, I do recommend this game for HOG/adventure fans like me; I found the puzzles challenging enough, though the game was a little short. I, too, found the hint button (which I do try to avoid, but sometimes...) a bit unhelpful sometimes, but I found a walkthrough online and was able to get through without much frustration, IIRC (again, can't find my last review, so have to rely on the waning memory :)). As I remember, it was relatively straight-forward, maybe a bit too much so (I do like a bit more of a challenge and variety, just not so much that it becomes impossible for me, or, like a recent giveaway, Apothecari, with completely ridiculous English translation that makes items unfindable).
Not the most engaging HOG ever, but well worth playing and perhaps recommending. I'm gonna go ahead and re-install this and try playing through on the Expert level instead of 'casual'. I am a tad frustrated that right now, the down-thumbs negative votes are at a full one third of the votes; usually a 33% negative would discourage me from even trying. Yet there are no comments to support those negative votes, which would be super-helpful! I do rely on the reviews from users here and appreciate those who take the time, which is why I usually do, too, when I feel I have something to contribute.

neme, Been off on HOGs lately but thanks to your comments I'll give this one a run. The images do look engaging and a plus is being able to deal with the naggy parts by Skip or walkthrough helps. Hate to start a game only to find it so hard or unclear that one gets forced to remove it. Thanks GOTD.

beergas, I'm replaying, and still not finding the puzzles very difficult, though I do use the Hint button sometimes to see where to go next since there is no interactive map as in many games, showing where there are tasks to perform (I love that feature).
I also remember now that when they do the cut scenes, though you can skip a whole scene, you can't just click to go to the next page after you read if you don't want to wait for the whole slow narration. I find that unreasonably annoying (my native impatience showing :)). But overall, while this may not have all the latest bells and whistles and so far not too much brain-teasing, it's very attractive and well-designed, IMHO, and if you don't know how it ends (which those of us who got it two months ago do), kind of fun to see your suspicions develop!
