I have never made a comment before, but after all the Neg words I just have to say you guys just need to have a little fun for a while as it can truly waste away the night. Would never gave spent money on it and yes at first I quit playing and forgot about it.
My son could never get me into any games of this type (rather have Myst type) yet here I am playing this silly little farming thing which truly makes me glad I was raised in the city. BUT FOR THE REASONS I cannot fully explain its cute and yes annoying all at the same time, I still go back for more.
There just is not that much to choose from if your not into ripping
heads off things:) anymore.

I am sad! I downloaded this game then played it and now it's messed up wont let me play it, it say's I need to reinstall it but the time period is over! I like games like this and I waited for this one and now I can't play it!

How is it a "breeding simulation"? It is a farm simulation, sure, just like farm frenzy but worse. Breeding simulation? Come on :{

I actually enjoyed playing this game for a short time. It helped to pass the time when sitting around doing nothing.

I tried to download this game on Windows XP but it wouldn't let me download it. I tried three times and nothing worked.

whenever i try to run the instilation package my computer blocks it, and so does one of my laptops... firewall is off but still a block >.<

2.5 hours into download at 26k it finished at 85% complete. Not a valid file, no time to try again before the giveaway is over. Very frustrating.

I fully agree w/ #50!! My chldren are chomping at the bit to get to this game. I think it has some great lessons involving thinking skills, planning, organization and helps teach character skills building diligence, perseverance and responsibility.

No, not all programs are going to appeal to us personally, but when we think about a program in relationship to the greater good, we can see it's value.

I have installed this game in my XP SP3 and everything was good.
I was playing for 2 hrs and i have got 20 cows and 45000 coins and i do not get any real end point for this game.
Anyone played this game like this?

I'm so excited. I had lost faith in ggotd and hadn't checked in a long time. Today I just happened to be by and was excited to see a game worth downloading, thank you so much. I hope you'll continue to offer more high quality games.

Cute little game. I'm not that familar with this type of game so I'm having some trouble finding my way around since there are no instructions except for the "neighbor"'s help. Installed just fine on my XP3. Took 3.5 hours on my slow dial-up. We'll see if it is worth it.

Clunky, DOS like graphics. Never figured out how to feed the animals. F1 just brings up a guy that says the farm is doing great. Might be cute for a three year old, though I think game play would frustrate them. It did me.

What a nice little management game. Quick 'n simple - feed some hens, sell their eggs, or buy turkeys, fatten 'em up and sell 'em for a profit.

Crashes quite often on my Win XP setup, but thankfully, the game 'auto saves', so you don't lose much but the last couple of mins of gameplay.

The graphics are clear and cute, and while the gameplay is limited (it initially feels constricted what you can do) its addictive, and is great to while away a couple of hours.

...and all without finding your wellies and wadding in any sheep poo.

For those posting that this game is "childish" (ex.-Affleck Duck) - Some of us who are GGOTD members have children and I asked a week or two ago for games that children could play. I'm not big on my 10 year old "killing things" at all, much less on occasion, though he has a few of those games. This is a great game for kids and something that'll hold their attention a few hours. THANKS GGOTD for hearing me when I asked for some "kid safe" games couple weeks ago. I appreciate Steve (is it?) It doesn't install a shortcut to the desktop or put an entry into the Start menu, which is a bit irritating.

As for gameplay, I can't commnet. It installs on Vista but it won't run. After installation I get a popup that says "this program may not have installed properly." When I run the game I don't even get past the first two company logos before it locks up. I've tried it in compatability ith XP and reinstalled and redownloaded. Nada.

:oops: 'scuze that last bit, I wrote it for the applications section but forgot to delete it.

We have it from last time and it is a favorite around here! Works fine on my old and aged computer with no memory running XP. My daughters love it and will sometimes leave it running all day long just checking in occassionally on their animals. I don't think I would pay $20 for it, but it is definitely worth a free download!

The speed change thing is nice: If you (as an adult) want to play you can sped it up so you're not sitting there for hours bored to tears. And you can slow it down for kids or if you are just checking in once in a while.

We like the day/night feature.

The animals are cute and the sounds are great.

It could do with a few more instructions - it seems like basic tasks such as feeding and cleaning the animals (what farmer scrubs all their ducks and chickens every time they feed them?) are a bit more complicated than they need to be. However once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad.

We've found it to be very stable, even on an old and overstuffed machine, even with a toddler bashing around the keyboard and mouse, even with other programs running in the background. I don't think we've managed to have it freeze up yet.

Overall a definite thumbs up from me! Worth a try, and that goes double if you've got kids.

for #35, you have to go to the installations and install it -- very simple.

This is an interesting game -- although if you play it for too long it gets boring. It's mostly for younger kids, but I'm 16 and find it fun. It could also be used to teach younger kids simple economics.

It took hours to download with dial up and after searching exhaustively for an hour, I cannot find anyway to launch it. It |wasn't in C:\Games\ and I ran a search on everything that said MY FARM and clicked on everything there. I finally deleted what I could find of it, as there was no uninstall.

Can anyone help? I have downloaded the game. The opening menu opens fine and I can get into options, etc. But when I click on Start New Game, I recieve an error saying My Farm has encountered an error and must close. I have deleted all and redownloaded and installed 3 times with no change.

Only things i didn't like about this game were that you can't have more then one person playing it unless you continue with the same farm and also that it can't be put in window mode. The game play is good though :)

I downloaded this one the last time it was offered and just deleted it a few days ago because I hadn't played it in several months. When I first got it I played it all the way through.

This game was cute I kinda liked it, i think my grand daughtor will love both games from this weekend.. was a bit boring but it does have a speed up time thats helps till you get enough money to buy the larger animals..very cute worth the try, it does not put an incon on the desktop so you will have to go to the folder ( mine was c:games) and right click and send to desktop shortcut if you want a shortcut on your desktop.

Yet another game not supported by my operating system. :o(

It seems this game is toned down a bit... The graphics is a bit poorer,The animals and their houses are a LOT smaller than the original games that were given away here and the sound is a bit cheaper

now I remember why I deleted this the first time. Ground was black and then it wouldn't quit, go to windows or control-alt-delete. Had to shut down. Big thumbs down and getting it off my machine fast.

Would someone be so kind as to tell me how to uninstall this game? I can't find it in my add/remove in my control panel and can't find an uninstall in the game folder. My mouse just doesn't seem to want to work with so many games, too jerky. Thanks!

OK it is cute but please tell me how to feed more than one animal at a time as I have just killed 2 chickins and a turkey. I like to test these games out before the kids, but at this pace I doubt even they will enjoy it. Sound effects are great an if I can work out how to fatten up the chooks before I kill them there may be hope.
