In Brief
A hardcore 2D arena plaformer
The Game

The game boots up in a window as default, but you can change it to full screen via the options menu which is accessed using the up & down arrow or the W & S keys, then the enter key once selected. There are 5 language options i.e. English (default), Russian, German, Spanish and French. To return to the main menu from all menu's i.e. the options, leader and control menu's, use the Esc key. Turning off the shader (via the options menu) improves the look of the game, as it removes the retro look to the graphic; i.e. see the first and second images below for comparisons, the first image shows the game with the shaders turned off, the second image with the shaders turned on.
The game play is as the intro above describes is pretty hard core. You can see a video of game play via the Steam store page HERE and the only Steam community review that is in Russian gives it a thumbs up and says: ''Пойдет чтобы убить время'' i.e. Will go to kill time.
My first attempt ended death within several seconds. The helicoper enemies are the ones you need to avoid as you cannot shoot them until they are level with you. If you are trapped and they are moving down towards you, it's almost impossible to destroy them before they touch you. Any enemy that touches you kills you instantly. You default weapon has a very short range, so you have to get close and personal to be able to kill them. Tanks and helicopters require at least two shots to kill. As mentioned above there aare precious few instructions with this game, the control option tells you to use WASD To shoot use the space bar. I never progressed past the first part of the first level, so cannot tell you how to change weapons, but I would assume it to be the number keys.
The intro tells you virtually all you need to know about this game, i.e that it is a hard core 2D platformer. I spent 30 minutes trying to get past the first level, so I can attest that it is a hard core platformer. I only once managed to jump onto one of the platforms, dying almost immediately every time. I did manage to get a score of 90,, which is pretty dire. If you like challenging platformers and have the patience of a saint, then this game which includes bonuses for speed or jumping, the ability to smash boxes with weapons, and blow up enemies with your own bombs then it it could be a decent acquisition for you, especially as the usual adverts and browser opening are absent. You can see a video of game play.

Hi Delenn, I already had them on my main account, but have added them to my secondary account (I lend that one out to friends as it has almost 1500 games 'mainly from sales and bundles'), which i created when the kids used to have friends around for sleep overs. They used both my accounts plus theirs for LAN parties (with adult supervision of course). None of their friends had Steam accounts back then. I always told the parents about the games they would play, just to make sure they were okay with them. We had regular sleep overs; especially over any vacation.

I've added a link in response to a particular comment made by another of my Steam friends. He was offering over 700 Steak keys and posted a couple of links; one to the list of games he was offering, and one to Google forms. Basically you can choose up to 20 games and copy them into the Google form then add a comment at the bottom. You may have to send a friends request, but that may not be necessary (leave an email address ) You also need to be signed into a Google account. I received 12 games that were on my wish list, plus several more for a friend. It took over a week but I got them yesterday. He's offering a massive range of genres, most of which are from Humble bundles (including the very first ones that usually contained three or four titles via one Steam key. I've also posted a link to his profile page so that you can send a friends request. He'll see that you are a friend of mine, so should accept it. :)

They have added quite a few more games over on the Indie Gala developers showcase.

I hope all's well with you and your family. You stay safe as well.
