iZombie:

In Brief:
iZombie is an isometric view of a zombie apocalypse, where you play as a zombie, increasing the size of your army by converting live people to your zombies, then you attack the other zombie armies then travelling to different cities across the globe to rid the world of them. Not to be confused with the PS4XBox 360 version called I,Zombie. The game was created using the Unity engine.

The Game:
The basic premise of the game is to capture people (non zombies) to add to your clan, then, when you think you've captured enough you can attack other groups of zombies. Killing them all will crown you king of the zombies and you win that level and are then able to progress to the next level. Each level upgrades your zombies. The live people are also attacked by other groups of zombies that you are there to destroy and they can grow their group by attacking live people. Some of these people instead of becoming zombies die. You can convert these to your group of zombies by walking over them while the Restore Life button, is active (click on it to start). The clock counts down backwards via a clock like interface (with no numbers). While this is active, when you approach a dead person, they become part of your group. Once you've increased the size of your clan (making sure you at least equal the number of zombies in other armies), attack these other groups. If you survive you are declared king of the zombies and can then move on to the next level.

There are some adjustments you can make to the game at the beginning of a level while playing by changing the groups velocity (i.e. movement) by clicking on the Group Velocity slider at the top of the game screen. At the bottom middle of the screen there are two sliders called Life and Attack. These will increase your zombies attributes.

I don't know whether any of these sliders are linked to the number of brains you collect as you progress. These are displayed in the top left hand corner of the game. I haven't the time to explore the game further. If anyone does figure out if there is a relationship between the number of brains you have collected and those three sliders, please do comment here. The Game:
Overall iZombie is a reasonable zombie arcade game, though I did find the mouse control a little sluggish. Whether this was because I run a multi monitor set up I really can't say, but I had to constantly adjust my mouse pointers location because it would disappear onto another screen and I'd lose the ability to control the direction of my zombie army. Apart from this I found the game quite charming and would recommend you try it out for yourselves. If you can post some feedback on the mouse controls and the relationship between your collection of brains and the three sliders that allow some configurability within the game when you get to the start of a new level, it would be really appreciated. Thank you.

Notes on Security
I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game and it found zero hits from 58 antimalware engines. The downloaded executable may include some low level adware that only opens your browser to Falcoware's home page after the game has installed and places four shortcuts onto your desktop (which can be safely deleted once the game has installed). The installation does not inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to Falcoware's home page when the game has been installed, it earns Falcoware games some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away free.
