The Game:
Rescue your niece and defeat the ancient demon is the main plot-line in Into the Haze, a new Hidden Object Adventure from Argali Entertainment in co-operation with Alawar. Into the Haze gives us a little flashback of the very first HOPAs a few years back, it is not that this game is not good – it is just unoriginal.
As mentioned above, the story line in Into the Haze is nothing to be excited about unless you are very new to the genre. The plot of summoning demons and missing relatives have been reused countless times and Into the Haze did nothing to spice that up. Anyway, the dialogues of the characters are quite interesting to read and they are accompanied by good voice overs. The character’s look and animations are also actually above our expectations.
You might already know from what we have written, Into the Haze is as simple as a HOPA could be. The Hidden Object scenes are easy on the eyes and are very standard and easy to complete while the puzzles are not creative or challenging by any means, but that does not mean that they are not fun. The game play is nothing wonderful but another game full of running around collecting objects with no map offered. Even the locations in the game are not really innovative, they are all what we have seen before in some other games.

That being said, Into the Haze is quite a fun little game to enjoy. It has great graphics with good lightning, good quality and good details even though they might not be spectacular. The music is also super nice although some might argue that it is a little too cheerful for a deary game like this and sometimes the transition between soundtracks is odd.

Conclusion:
I've still not played this game much since it was last given away to give a fair assessment of my opinion. The little time I have played was okay. It has all the elements you'd expect of a HOPA, with decent graphics and good puzzles, that can be skipped if necessary. If you like HOG's of any type this is one I'd download.

Sonia Valentin, IMO, If you are not paying cash for a game its free. I don't count a little time wasted through various activities as cash, so for me and many others they are free. Still, you are entitled to your opinion.

Yes, this was given away previously not that long ago, but I do remember it being very good, and at my age, I rarely can remember everything, so I'm happy to download this again and give it another whirl! I do remember enough to be able to recommend it. As a HOG/adventure fan (it's not so much the HOGs as the adventure/puzzles that I really love) I do get disappointed at repeats, but I'm very grateful especially when they are goodies like this one!

A relentlessly engrossing tale of a missing child...the puzzles aren't as hard as others I have worked with, so I didn't have to skip any so far. Runs fine in Windows 10 Home Edition 64 bit, however I had to use full screen because the text and figures were too small for my old eyes. HOG scenes were not too hard to do either, but sufficiently challenging to be of interest. I would recommend this game for relaxation, especially if you are using the casual setting.

I would love to know how many HOGs have been given away here, must be in the hundreds! This one is not for me, but then I find all HOGs basically the same and once you've played one or two, you've played them all and there's nothing new, and this follows that same route.

I've played this one more than once before. I recommend it if, like me, you enjoy HOGs that make you think and work out what to do, with plenty of puzzles interspersed.

Mark C,

Hi Mark, most community members know that most of the games we get at the weekend are from MyPlayCity, or one of the other free game sites. They are the ones that give us the games. However, there is a difference because the main adware that is included in the MPC version has been disabled or removed in the game giveaway version.

Those free game sites operate because of the adverts that you get when downloading and playing those games. The income they receive is split, part of which goes to the developers of the games.

Here appears to me: "Oooops!
Sorry, the page you're looking for isn't here.
Maybe you've clicked on an obsolete link or mistyped the URL, or maybe it's just us.

Don't fret!"

Jerry, it happens, and it's fine if you don't want to play it. Some of us are newer and haven't played the game, or didn't have a computer fast enough for it yet.
