Called Dream Farm, it's a casual farming sim in which you can play with other human players. Your tasks include growing products, selling them at the market and competing against other players for customers. You will be able to communicate with other players via in-game chat. The most surprising thing about the game world is how it's constantly changing.
An untamed land of plenty lies before you, but the path to glory lies within you in The Promised Land, a casual strategy game for the adventurous at heart! Can you tame the New World before it tames you?
Travel from the deepest trenches of the Atlantic Ocean to the awe-inspiring wonders of Mars as you solve the greatest archeological puzzle known to man: the origin of Atlantis.
Manage five farms around the world and try your hand at penguin breeding and jewelry making in Farm Frenzy 3! Features 95 outrageously fun levels, 30 wacky animals and more upgrades than there are ears in a field of corn!
Help two orphans escape an evil spell in Whispered Stories: Sandman, an adventurous tale set in a fantastical world! Only your wits and keen vision can help you on this journey!
The only complaint is this..sometimes I download but don't get to run the program right away, when I get back to it I can't run it because it is now passed the the giveaway time. I would be nice to have a 24hr period to be able actually play one of the games. I was hyped to try out hotel mogul. There were problems with the download last night. So I downloaded IT again. Just now getting to run it and now I cant. But I like the rest of the concept. Thank You for making games available

I did try my best to play this game BUT it is so boring even after level 12. The same old thing to do during the whole game. Click build, click upgrade, click repair.... click.... click... click
At times the help girl is confusing as to what to do or no help.
Sorry but this one is a delete game and it is a shame since it is from Alaware.
To let you know how boring the game was I weeded my herb garden after level 12 instead of playing the traditional all day long Sunday games.
This game is a major let down compared to others they have released.

Followup to my previous comment, installed and runs fine under XP.
This does appear to be from the same game development group as "Royal Envoy", the Credits give many of the same names as being involved, though this game is distributed through Alawar. It feels like it's probably an earlier project than Royal Envoy, somewhat simpler graphics and music, but still top notch quality.
I've only played a few levels into the game, just enough to get a feel for it. and it looks to be a good variation on the Time Management genre.
It looks like the gameplay will be a little less involved than games like Royal Envoy, just from looking at the number of options available to me so far, but I'm looking forward to playing it (when I finish "Hidden World" from a previous GGotD).
Incidentally, the time taken to build a new building is part of the challenge. You have to plan ahead and take the build time into account when planning the sequence of operations so you don't end up taking too long to accomplish the goals. Fortunately you can build more than one building, or apply upgrades, to more than one building at a time, so that adds to the strategy.
Thumbs up from me..!

Thank you for this game. Time Management games are just about all I play. Yes it is a typical T/M game with a slow start then it gets more difficult as it goes along. That is the challenge as I see it. T/M games can be repetitive but each level is different in its own way, new challenges etc. to complete in a time frame. My goal is to make gold on each level of a T/M game and if it requires playing the level a few times to get gold then I do it. To play T/M games with no timer is not a challenge one woman’s opinion..LOL.
This game has great graphics and the music is not really annoying but I usually turn off all music anyway. Over all a 5 out of 5 for a T/M game.

I'm still downloading the game, so I haven't been able to check it out yet, but just from the screenshots it looks like it's probably another offering from the same team that developed the "Royal Envoy" series of TM games (one of my favorite game series ever) for Playrix.
If that's true, and it stays faithful to the high quality of the Royal Envoy games, I'm really looking forward to playing this one.
(Royal Envoy is the first GGotD offering that ever inspired me to go to the distributor's web site to buy the rest in the series, and just from the artwork and screen layouts, this game looks very familiar.)

This game has good graphics, but apart from that it is a very simple time/resource management game. Initially there doesn't seem to be much to do, and things get repetitive very soon. I would've wanted a no-time-limit sandbox mode to see how far we can grow. I don't know if such a thing is available towards the end of the game, as I only made it through the first few levels and am getting pretty bored of how easy this is.
Anyway, for $9.99, it is pretty and a lot better than some of the other higher priced games. But still, I won't purchase it due to it's lack of challenge.

typical time management game (not my favorite type of game) where it starts slow & easy then progressively gets tougher to complete assigned tasks in time allotted, graphics are better then the previous hotel mogul we were offered in July, game works well on my system Win8 64bit.

Hurra, this big .... deleted part of comment due to innappropriate language......... comes without an uninstaller!

Hi fad,
If you want to post comments here, please bear in mind it is a family site and that language such as you used (and which I've deleted) is not acceptable.
Regular community members know that virtually all games given away come without an uninstaller. To uninstall most game giveaways its a simple case of deleting the installed folder.
There is little impact on the registry apart from reference to the initial install and the downloading of the giveaway zip file.

By this game you must more wait than play - before I sleep in I´ll deinstall....uahhhh!

There are 8 votes (5/3) and the offering isn't even being offered yet... IOW let me be the first, since no one else has ventured in, to observe (and comment) on the obvious...
oh, nevermind - just having fun... But, here's to Whiterabbit_uk for all the time and work he has put in.
If you are here before the GGOTD is available you might like to go to GOTD and find the link for the "Crazy*" FREE games...

Hi Nothing is free, it could be the time differences. In the UK the clocks went back last week; so it's not yet 8am, whereas in the US their clocks go back tonight, so it may be that they already have the game. (Only guessing).
Thanks for the link. :)

Notes on Yesterdays game:
If you had problems running yesterdays game and still have it installed, I did manage to get it working after getting the Memory Access Violation, but it wasn't until the early hours of this morning. I made sure I was playing with Admin privileges, put it into compatibility mode for XP and adjusted several of the options such as reducing the visibility, color depth and detail. (I also turned off gore).,
Also CAD posted details of the help document which can be found in the start menu, and console commands to give you more ammo etc. Check his posts (comments 50 and 52)via the following link:

I didn't get the chance to play this game last night, that and the fact that I'm dog tired today means I'll probably not write up a review. From scratch it takes me up to 4 hours to prepare and write my reviews (even though I tend to use a standard format to write up the reviews. That said, playing the game for at least 30 minutes or more (depending on whether I need more screen captures) to get a feel for the game, taking screen shots, uploading them, writing up the game details and conclusions, searching for videos etc, swallows up a significant part of the day. I need to go back to bed, then help decorate the house. :)
If I get the chance I may post a short review later. :)

and the introduction to the game (from bigfish):
Video:
As usual there is no shortcut installed. The game installs to C:/Games by default, but you can change the path if you wish. There's no uninstaller. If you wish to edit the music you will find the ogg files via the following path:
C:/games/HotelmogulLasVegas_game/assests/sounds
You will need to convert your music files to the .ogg format and rename them to the file name you are replacing. ensure you don't change the sound effect files. I'd back up the files you are changing just in case of any problems.
Apart from this being a time Management game (one of my pet hates :) ) the only other down side i can see after a short time playing the game is the time it takes to build a hotel. In that time you can't do anything, so there's a lot of wasted time hanging around. apart from that, Hotel Mogul: Las Vegas is a well constructed game.
You can see game play video of Hotel Mogul: Las Vegas HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE. (All videos contain spoilers)
