Heroes of Dungeon was available as a giveaway on February 23, 2022!
Heroes of Dungeon-a Game based on the mechanics of " 3 in a row"
The essence of the puzzle genre "collect three" is reduced to making groups, lines and rows of 3 or more identical chips.
Heroes of Dungeon - This is the case when a seemingly ordinary puzzle challenges the player and he understands that only on his attentiveness and reaction depends on the victory.
You are waiting for adventures in the dungeon, choose one of the three characters and go on the road. On the way you will meet a lot of enemies, ranging from skeletons to dragons. Everyone has different characteristics, so you need to act quickly by collecting combinations of 3 or more identical tiles,so you hit the enemy. As you progress your character becomes stronger and learns new magic spells: You can freeze the enemy, or blow up tiles to make a big combo and deal a lot of damage to the enemy!

Hi WR, Let me preempt by stating that I truly admire your dedication as a moderator. You've stuck with it, even through the dwindling amount of available games and your personal challenges. May I speak for the community and say thank you. Regarding this game, you mentioned Puzzle Hero. I still have it and enjoy it (yes, I've been frequenting this site for that long). It truly is a one of a kind. Heroes of Dungeon is very slightly similar but Puzzle Hero it is not. That being said, if you enjoy match games with a twist, this one is not bad.

Sid,
Hi Sid,
I've stuck with the site partly out of habit, partly due to the occasional nice comment like yours from the community, it's given me some great friends over the years; three of whom I'll be playing some of that zombie shooter/melee game called Dying Light this evening. (I always look forwards to our Thursday game night, it reminds me of the times I used to play Dungeons & Dragons around a table with my school friends back in the late 70's. We'd often start playing late Saturday morning and play right through until Sunday morning. It also helps to keep my mind active (a little).
I don't spend as much time with the reviews like I used to; often just referencing others work; especially if I am of a similar opinion of the game. Life has oddly got busier over the last several years, so I don't have as much time as I'd like to research, play, then write a decent review. .
I also still have Puzzle Hero, and occasionally grab it from one of my back up disks to play. As I said in my review, it was the first of that sub genre of match three games I ever played and loved it. Since then I've discovered several that have the same mechanic and all as good or better than Puzzle Hero; for example, Puzzle Kingdoms, PuzzleQuest: Challenge of the Warlords, Puzzle Quest 2 and Puzzle Quest: Galactrix. They are well worth checking out; especially when on sale (though they are not on sale at the moment). I prefer them to traditional match three's apart from maybe the first few Treasures of Montezuma titles. :)
Stay safe.
regards Stephen
