Same problem as last week: my antivirus is blocking the setup

Nic, this happens because of the way the Giveawayoftheday (GAOTD) setup.exe file is made. It is a false alarm. The programs and games given by GAOTD are all virus free.
You will have to temporarily disable your anti-virus program. Then download and install the game. Then re-enable the anti-virus program. (IMP: You have to disable the anti-virus program *before* you download the game because some anti-virus programs block the exe file as you are downloading it and it won't run later even if you disable the anti-virus program.)
Also, you can later delete the setup exe that you've downloaded from GAOTD, since it will work only for today.

Turn your anti virus off then. With today's Windows and it's own windows defender, you don't need a secondary one.

Nic, you and me both. Can not figure out how to let Norton allow it and I've followed there de-activate settings and still nothing doing.
