Whiterabbit-uk, Elder Scrolls - Dagger Fall is the last game to be given away by GOG. I just received the email at the time of this reply. As of right now Shantae has 20 hours left to go on the giveaway. It's great to see all these giveaways.

sailorbear510 aka Jason,
Got it; I bought the original when it was released back in the mid 90's. I've loved the franchise since its inception with Arena. Both are free on Steam, but as far as I know the unity edition which has improved graphics has still to be added to Steam???
I have over 10 thousand hours invested in The Elder Scrolls Online (I bought two copies, the first before it was released on Steam then the Steam version when it was released a few months later); though I've taken a break from it since last March 2021 after playing it daily from it's release in April 2014 till last March.
I'm still waiting for another single player only release. The last one was Skyrim which was released on the 11th November 2011. Sadly, like most of the big name developers they have opted to go the MMO way instead; I dislike MMO's (at least most of them) because they don't really cater for the slower or less experienced players. . ESO and Fallout 74 do at least have a semblance of a single player feel even though they are MMO's as you can play solo without getting pawned by rogue player unless you go for the pvp options.
I was sad to see Microsoft buying out Bethesda.

Run and jump games were very popular back in the day with the screen scrolling forward automatically. I can't remember the name of the game but I do remember playing some kind of game where I was in a jungle like setting trying to get as many coins as I can.
(Martial law which was given away awhile ago follows the auto screen scrolling format as well )
Today's giveaway has no bearing on the arcade game of the same name but rather tests your skills to pilot your ship using your mouse. It's important to know you have to hold down the left mouse button to pilot your ship left and right to gain more points.
(Just so you know, this game may be uncomfortable or unusable for those who may have pain as a result of holding down the mouse button continuously)
Have tried over and over to last more then 5 seconds but sadly that's all. The mouse movement though is spot on and the graphics are smooth for the most part. Game really does need a usable and more functional interface to manage the game options.
I feel today's game behaves more like a mobile phone / tablet game as opposed to a game that natively is supposed to be on PC / Mac. It looks like it could belong in an app store
As whiterabbit-UK mentioned, the interface overlaps which is a minor oversight by the developer. It's a fun game that can be developed into something better but for now it's just worth playing about 10 minutes at a time and then going about your day.

sailorbear510 aka Jason,
I remember a jungle based run and jump game as well and yes, the name escapes me too; but it may have been Jungle Escape 1 or 2 or Temple Run?
