Super Fighters 3D:
In Brief:
Super Fighters 3D is a platform shooter. Please see the introduction for more basic details of todays unity based game.

You can see a video of game play HERE

The Game:
The game has three maps to choose from i.e. Ruined City, Hazardous and Police Station. There are two modes of play 'All against you' , or 'all against all' . You can select the number of opponents when you start the game. There appears to be no limit to the number of opponents you can choose, but selecting too many will freeze the game. I went up to over 300, and had to Alt + F4 to escape from the game. There are also 12 character skins to choose from and several weapons to find while playing.

The basic premise of the game, survive by finding a weapon, then killing your opponents. You'll find a rocket launcher, flame thrower, pistol, automatic rifle, shotgun and sniper rifle somewhere within the labyrinth of rooms, open area's and platforms; though you can only carry up to four of those. Each weapon has a limited number of rounds. Kill your opponents before they kill you; the rocket launcher appears to be the most effective weapon, though I didn't use the shotgun close up yet. If they find a weapon before you, you'll probably die quickly. You can 'beat on' your opponents, but very little damage is done to them this way. Watch out for the green (acid) areas in the Hazardous map; if you fall into it, you die instantly.

WASD = Movement
LMB = Shoot
RMD = Aim
R = Restart
1,2,3 & 4 = Weapon slots
E = Activate Effect
Super Fighters 3D is a fun little game (with some rough edges) and ideal for those longer coffee breaks. It's not a game I'd play for long, but it is worth keeping when your in need of some action. The graphics are a little cartoon like and the characters look more like wrestlers than shooters. There's a fun selection of weapon types to find throughout the three different maps included with this game.

To make the game more difficult select more enemies to fight against, but if you want to even up the odds select the all vs all mode rather than you against all.

Overall if you don't mind shooters, Super Fighters 3D is worth downloading.

Notes on Security

I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found zero hits from 55 antimalware engines.

You can see the results of the scan via the following link:

If you're still not convinced of the games efficacy and want to be absolutely sure that the game is safe to install, please use a sandbox program first, to check that the game is safe to install before installing it to your C drive or other drives on your computer (assuming you have more than one drive).

Personally I've never had any issues with any of falcowares games, even when the Falcoware installer was included.

There are free sandbox programs such as Sanboxie, GeSWall, BitBox, Windows Sandbox, Bufferzone (a six month commercial license was given away via the applications side of the project back in December 2009 HERE), Shadowzone, as well as others. (You'll find them all on the same page from Techwhoop.

Whiterabbit-uk, .

You'll find regularly updated details of all the reasonable game deals and freebies that I can find HERE . I update the thread every few days (unless I'm really busy).

The latest freebie to hit the fan is the excellent Massive Multiplayer Online ARK: Survival Evolved (includes a single player mode) together with seven of it's DLC's (these are not skins but actual add-ons that include six additional maps and a total conversion DLC). You'll find the game on Steam . Grab it while it's free until the 19th June. Brief explanation of the game - You are stranded on the shores of a mysterious island, and must learn to survive. Use your cunning to kill or tame the primeval creatures roaming the land, and encounter other players to survive, dominate... and escape! .

Also free at the moment is Capcom Arcade Stadium and Capcom Arcade Stadium:STREET FIGHTER II - The World Warrior are free on Steam HERE until the 22nd June. With your download you also get to relive the Capcom classics! Get 1943 -The Battle of Midway- and game logo wallpapers free! (I don't know when this offer ends, so grab it while there's time.

Hey Wabbit..

Just get it. Not sure how long it's available. I had one of my headaches yesterday morn so I didn't post it right away. Sorry. I can't tell if it's region locked.

delenn13, Thanks for posting this. It's a fantastic gem. I had also told Whiterabbit-UK about this game in a previous thread and he claimed it. To be honest that game is a gem of a game with Shantae whipping her hair to get items on the screen and so forth and its light in size for a platformer. Almost reminds me of castlevania.

Hi Delenn, yeah, Jason mentioned it yesterday. I'd been watching out for their next games . Apparently there's at least one more to come in a few days, so keep looking. Thanks to both of you for your comments and help. Really appreciate it. I'm a little jaded with things at the moment. I've been trying to work through my backlog of Steam games, but it seems never ending, plus I keep getting distracted with some of my old favourites. For the past several weeks I've been obsessed with Battlefield Vietnam, and have been considering doing some modding . So I never seem to have the time to check out these games as much as I'd like.

Today's game is an indie developed shooter that tries to capture the spirit of the third party genre and maybe borrow elements from first party shooters. For a minute I thought this may be a fun little game to try out but in the end I shook my head.

The instructions were a big help to play the game but however the physics in this game is absolutely horrible. The computer cheats in the first level by floating across the pool of green acid with no platform flying around and it seems I can't even give damage to an enemy on the screen.

The character models are silly and do nothing to contribute to making this game look like what it is. At first I thought this was a fighting game but the game itself tries to be different genres and it's just working out the way it should be.

If anyone plays this game today, prepare for a lot of confusion and frustration you will find it plenty with Super Fighters 3D. It's a game with a good idea but really needs polishing.

One thing to note is that while White Rabbit Uk notes about the games security, I have seen Internet shortcuts placed in the Program Files X86 Directory. Specific files : Falco, FalcoGo, FalcoLine and FalcoSpace, all appears to be internet shortcuts. The desktop icons appear to be associated with the folder I mentioned. Although they seem harmless I found it weird they were placed in this folder.
