Notes on Security
I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game and it found zero hits from 58 antimalware engines. The downloaded executable may include some low level adware that only opens your browser to Falcoware's home page after the game has installed and places four shortcuts onto your desktop (which can be safely deleted once the game has installed). The installation does not inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to Falcoware's home page when the game has been installed, it earns Falcoware games some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away free. You can see the results of the scan via the following link:

Whiterabbit-uk,

The latest free games from Epic Games are Nioh: The Complete Edition - Ready to die? Experience the first version of the brutal action game from Team NINJA and Koei Tecmo Games. In the age of samurai, a lone traveler lands on the shores of Japan. He must fight his way through the vicious warriors and supernatural Yokai that infest the land in order to find that which he seeks. Also a giveaway this week is Sheltered, a post-apocalyptic disaster management game that gives a whole new meaning to the term “nuclear family”. Given a head-start over the billions lost in a nuclear holocaust, you must gather as many supplies as possible en route to the concrete underground shelter that will soon become your family home for the foreseeable dreary future.

From next Thursday we will be getting Speed Brawl, a 2D combat-racer about moving fast and hitting hard! Maintain your momentum, build combos, and unleash powerful moves. Find your own fighting style, and assemble the best team of brawlers ever seen. Then do it all again faster. Faster. FASTER! plus Tharsis, a turn-based space strategy game. With dice. And cannibalism. It puts you in control of humanity’s first mission to Mars, just as it’s struck by a micrometeorite storm.
Indie Gala have added more games to their showcase section HERE, e.g. Crazy Space Pirate, Pirate Codex, DreamTime, Project Restart, A Maze In Opportunity, Mirage Online Classic, In the world unknown, Dissociation, The little witch Edwina, Hard Place and another Leisure Suit Larry adventure. All but volumes 6 & 7 have now been removed from the free section.

You can usually find links to Steam and non Steam freebies via Delenn's threads over in the forums HERE (non-Steam) and HERE (Steam).

The latest Humble Choice bundle went live Tuesday afternoon; If you have the original subscription before it changed from the Humble Mothly to the Humble Choice bundle you get the following 12 games plus a DRM free arcade game called Sluggish Morss Pattern Circus.
There are different subscriptions available, all of which can be suspended each month if you don't think the games in the bundle are worth it. This months bundle would set you back £211.68 (approx $290) if you purchased all of the games and includes PGA Tour 2K21 (£49.99), Neon Abyss (£15.99), Not For Broadcast (£19.49}, RÖKI (£19.49), Narita Boy (£19.99), West of Dead (£15.49), Atomicrops (£11.39), Heaven's Vault (£19.99), Swag and Sorcery (£9.99), Fort Triumph (£15.49), Orwell: Ignorance is Strength (£7.19) and Framed Collection (£7.19). For me, just the cost of Swag & Sorcery takes care of the cost of the whole bundle (it cost me £8.72 for the bundle) so I'm very pleased with this months choice, especially as several were on my wish list. The last one I already had, so gave it to a friend.

The extra game is a weird graphic oriented game on the lines of those Amanita Design games such as Samorost 1 (free on Steam) and Samorost 2, Machinarium and Rocket man, but is much more psychedelic and wacky. (If you get the bundle make sure you turn down the volume when playing Sluggish Morss Pattern Circus as it's rather jarring in places, but fits the game.

falconware, After exiting and restarting the game, the two arrows at the top of the page are both linked to a Restart This Level Command and the middle of the page shows the finish "Well Done" with the stars. This makes it impossible to proceed past the first screen and also impossible to replay the level in order to proceed.
It would be nice to also have the last level saved so the game could be restarted on the next level.
Raymond commented about this first but not in as much detail.
Makes me wonder if anyone tried to play the game before it was put into production?

BWA,

The developer BD Games seems to churn out games regularly on a weekly basis. All using the Unity engine, which is one of those plug and play engines where you can buy sets of assets that you'll see in more than one game. This game was only released recently. You can contact the developer either via the games page on itch.io or via his itch.io page

Alkaseltz,

I ended up deleting the game for the same reason. Thank you for your feedback, appreciated.

How do you exit the game? There is no button, ESC doesn't work. I had to task switch out of it and then force it to close.

jb, or you can Alt Tab, then close the game via the taskbar by hovering over the games icon then clicking the X in the top right of the icon.
