Hi. Seems like a nice game. I typed in the code and it says it was redeemed but I don't see anywhere to pick up the gold or Epic Hero Marius. Maybe I am missing something. Where can I find it?

If anyone is curious about today's game giveaway there is an Android emulator called BlueStacks which will let you simulate running a tablet on your PC. A lot of these types of games do well with the point and click nature. You have to download the 1MB installer and then the installer does the rest to download in real time the run times needed for the emulator and so forth.
Although it links to the Apple Store I believe any special offers you get for being a new player would apply to other versions of the game. Here is a link to it on the Android Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.epicage.android
So if you have a Google Tablet or perhaps an iPod Touch / iPad running at least 10.0 you should be able to play this game.
Its a massive online multiplayer RTS game.

If you're running Win11 there's also the Windows Subsystem for Android, if your PC/laptop meets the hardware specs, which are stricter than those for Win11 itself. [If it doesn't meet the requirements Google How to install WSA on unsupported hardware.] Looks like you'd have to sideload the game though, & I don't know if it needs the Play Store services, which are a bit of work to get enabled. The beta for Google's competitor to WSA hasn't made it out of Asia yet.

sailorbear510 aka Jason,
Ha, I use BlueStacks for Merge Mansions cause I don't like to game at my mobile or my tablet.
I had no idea if it was legit or not. But I guess as you recommend it, I can use it without fear.

Anthea, I can completely understand you. I own an iPod Touch 7th gen and I specifically bought it to play games to keep the games off my phone and just have my shopping, banking and email on my phone.

You and I must be amongst the tiny group of discerning people who do not own a mobile phone. I have Skype, Zoom and emails that serve me well for the community work that I do and the added expense of a mobile phone is simply not necessary. So often we are told we must have things that we do not really need so hold out as long as you can.

Whiterabbit-uk, regarding cell phones here in the USA I have an iPhone XR and pay $20 US per month through the service called Tracfone for unlimited talk and text, I also get 1GB of data for my phone. I mainly am connected to Wifi when I am home and only get out my phone when I'm on the go, perhaps at a resturaunt or grocery store if I need to look up nutrition information and so forth. The data rolls over from month.

"... I still don't see the need for one myself as I never go out on my own as I'm unable to due to the disabilities I have."
Today's smartphones are basically PCs, in some cases with extraordinarily good cameras, e.g. the new iPhone. Some people use them the same way you use your PC, which is why companies like Microsoft & Adobe also focus on Android & iOS apps & adding functional versions of their software on their web sites, e.g., office[.]com. In your case, since you wouldn't have to carry whatever away from home, you *might* be happier with a tablet that's compatible with whatever cell service you'll use.

Hey guys
Just don't move to Switzerland - everything is so incredibly expensive here.

Anthea, expensive compared to where? I'm in the US, & I know gas has always been much more expensive in Europe than it is here. But most other things are more expensive here than they were before covid. Just wondering what your timeframes are.

Delilah,
Everything we get from shops all over the world or at least Europe costs double what it costs there. The clothing from various shops have markers where all the prices are on to see. Same for books and magazines. Even Swiss products like Ragusa or Meridol (a tooth paste) costs less in Germany as if they don't have taxes to pay when they export it, cause this is what they always tell us why merchandise costs more here. A lot of people only see our salaries but when they live here the fall back to reality let's them second guess if it was wise to move here.
It is this way since I do my own finances.

Whiterabbit-uk, I use ASDA mobile in the UK and the package I'm on gives me unlimited calls and texts as well as 3 GB of data for £5.00 per month. I don't use my landline for anything except incoming calls, so no charges from my broadband provider except for internet.
