I played this game a bit ago, it's like the cluttered series with a story. The difference is the characters, even what you're finding is the same as the other cluttered games. There are a handful of these different stories with the same items to pair up either by 2s or 3s, black to colored and 1/2 to 1/2. Even the crystals are the same. Since I have played it before and have the other dozens just like this, I'm gonna pass this time. It is a game you can play on a break or while waiting for your appt/interview and a good matching game for the kids.

While not a big fan of regular HOGs this one caught me. So far plays like a picture puzzle, then couple of those uncovered 2 matches (hard for my amateur mind until got hang of going for large pieces, and free blue jewels, save the Hint). 3 levels, played 10 min timer, but there's a No Timer. Graphics ok enough other than people bit weak. Sort of a background story to hold it so 8.5/10 me.

I was expecting this to be hog. It has the same characters and music as Dreamscapes - The Sandman and Dreamscapes 2. Instead, this is basically a match 2 - match 3 type of game. I'm still on the fence whether I'll be keeping it or not.

i received the same box at the top of my install as "The Netherlands" did. It is really disappointing! I was looking forward to a new HOG! I will uninstall unless someone has a way to "command" past it. The only command that I have found that will work is "Exit" and it closes the game.

Are they both more or less reasonable, and if not, which one is the right?

Can't play this game, I tried to download it twice and it still don't work. The screen is all messed up. Won't be downloading it again, not worth the frustration.

In the installation process, I was reqested to install the "ToomkyGames Gadget". What is this?
It is the same as the "ToomkyGames Toolbar"?
In the [FAQ](https://toomkygames.com/faq "ToomkyGames FAQ"), there is only explained, how to install or uninstall the Gadget/ the Toolbar, not what it is or what it does.
I assume, it's a kind of adware.

The graphics make this game look a lot like Catch the Witch which I like very much. Downloading now. Will be back later with better comment. Thanks.

This is a timed game. I'll probably uninstall it. It gives you a choice of 3 levels of difficulty, but still every level is timed. I personally hate timed games.

Good to see a game which offers no time limits whatever: BIG TICK!

I'm hoping that this one won't be in the "fries the motherboard graphics within five minutes or less" category. I have an elderly hp/compaq laptop which has on-board Intel HD graphics, and a lot of HOGs (I suspect, can't be certain!) get the graphics chip so hot that I have to close the game before the CPU temperature gets close to 90°C.

Mystery Cookbook is particularly quick at doing that, I think it's the animated speech bubbles mainly, but the whole game in general is like putting a blowtorch under the laptop. Many other GGOTDs: Fall of the New Age - Collectors Edition, The Lake House - Children of Silence, Dream Hills - Captured Magic, to name but three, are "good" only for a few minutes before I have to shut them down. FAST. On the other hand, Magic Ocean works fine, for as long as I want.

I'm hoping that today's GGOTD HOG is not in the "melty" category, but the more recent the game, the more likely it is to happen. I don't know if TooMky, Alawar, and the others can do anything to make the graphics less 'demanding' for older chipsets, but I'd certainly appreciate it! HOG backgrounds don't have to have several little animated elements in them, for example. Perhaps just an option to turn off BG animations and similar graphics-resource-heavy things could be a solution?

Anyway, I'm off to grab and enjoy Dream Walker. If I can, I'll let you know here later whether or not it's a "melty" one. :D

After installing the program I got an error message on top of the starting screen of the game. I could still play the game, but is was annoying :-)
Something with "UnauthorizedAccesException.... denied", also something with "System.IO.FileStream...." and Boolean.
I started the problem solver and it changed the comptabilitiy to W8 (never had that on this PC). Same error. Then I opted to change compatibility to W7 (had that system before W10) and that did the trick.
