Hello : same crash after the logo with the last release of Windows 10.
It occurs even with all compatibility options activated.

Crashed fore too the same way. With all these games remember they are free. It is not worth the hassle trying tog et 1 or 2 games to work. Just delete it and move on.

I'm using Win10/1809/64 Pro and I don't have any problem: installation and launching work fine. But I never use any other AV than the windows defender!
@someone: I guess the problem isn't in the EXE-file, but in the included Themida wrapper. So try to uninstall completely and install while quick omitting your Norton, just while installing. This could be helpful.
To be sure about check the quarantine too.

It may be because this is an OLD game. If you look at the system Requirements om My Play City it shows for •Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7

Same for me on win 10.It also put three different icons on my desktop without permission.Also when it crashes it automatically opens myplaycity in a new browser window.Uninstalled and wish I missed this one.

Tonyport, the unwanted icons on your desktop is the price you have to pay for using this game for free. The same with the myplaycity site in the browser. All of these free games behave like that!
So this is not a mistake, but the normal behaviour.

The godamn first sentence needs to declare what the godamn game type is, I expect to see HOG in the title or first statement or whatever else it may be so I can then delete after the first words. Just declare what type of game it is in the email so I can choose whether to even open it or not. Goddammit Steve.

Same problem as mentioned here already: the game fails for Windows 10; startsscreens are there, but the game itself doesn't start!

Game doesn't work
Windows 10.
i have the same problem that Someone has.
Installs fine. But when it starts get the 2 screens then it crashes.

I tried different compatibility modes.

I also uninstalled and installed directly from My Play City and had the same issues. So it is something on the game end. not Gamegiveway's end.

I was going to try and download the free trial from Big Fish as I really like Time management games. but they only had 2 reviews on it. one was 1 star and the other just 2 stars. I figured it wasn't worth the extra time to do that.

Hopefully tomorrows game will be better.

This game doesn't work for me - Windows 10.

It installs, starts, the music starts - I see a logo for Alawar and then Rooster Games and then it crashes.

I tried a variety of compatibility settings, but the game crashes at the same point every time.

Someone, what about your third party antivirus* program? Was it off when installing?
*) The windows defender ist mostly not a problem, but most of the others AVs are!!

Peter, it's not an installation issue - the game installs fine. It's a command that triggers after the logo screens that is causing the crash.

My anti-virus - Norton - told me the game is safe.

The version that is available at MyPlayCity also crashes at the same point - again Norton told me the file is safe.

It may just be incompatible with your device [laptop, PC etc.], I'd suspect because it's asking the graphics hardware to do something it cannot. I normally run the compatibility troubleshooter, & have only had one game fail after using it. I also have Direct X 9 installed, which is a common requirement for older games -- the version that comes with win10 doesn't always work with them.

Crashes on me too in a Win10 VM using only Defender. I test all GOTD games here and 99% of them work. Not this one. I also tried all compatibility methods in the shortcut including the troubleshooter.
