Presumably this is the full game? :) The license agreement at the start of the installation has:

"This Software is distributed as Trialware. It is not free. You may
play the demo version to determine if you like it."

this is a great game. Came just in time for my family to be trapped inside due to very cold weather. WE all worked on this game all evening and had such a great time. Thank you so much for your website. It is a very nice thing to do for people.

I think the wrapped setup that INCLUDES the activate.exe would eliminate these registration posts. does the program author wrap these files or GOTD? if the wrapped activate ran then setup.exe i think that would cure this assuming firewalls and proxies weren't an issue.

#33, you needed to follow the directions in readme.txt to get the full registered version. It says to run activate.exe first, then run setup.exe to install the game.

Since you already installed the game and didn't run activate, you need to CLOSE the game completely. (Make sure it's not minimized, it must be CLOSED.) Then go back to the original zip file you downloaded from game.giveawayoftheday.com, see the three files in there? (activate.exe, readme.txt, and setup.exe). Just double click on on activate.exe and wait for the gray message box that says activation successful. Now re-open the game. Voila, you've got the full registered version.

Great game, but when downloading, I didn't see a registration key/code. When I clicked "custom game", it said I couldn't do in "demo mode". I thought these were fully functional games. Did I miss something?

Great game ! ! ! Re: #20 . . . You will have to locate your other blocks in positions to stop block movement. You may have to move blocks around a few times to achieve this. Hope this helps . . .

@Arl: the point of the game is that you have to move the cubes to the goal despite them not moving in a single space. They will slide until they meet an obstacle, you have to use obstacles to your advantage to finish the game.

Very nice game, I'm already addicted. I like the fact that you unlock many levels at once and don't have to be stuck on a single level for ages, and I know I'm going to like the level editor.
Keep up the good work (and the good puzzles)!

Great little game. Perfect when you need a few minutes to unwind or have a few to waste.

Whiterabbit: I just downloaded to wherever. I then click on play custom and import the files via the menu. Once imported the files are always available from the 'play custom' menu. No copying and pasting etc needed. :)

Now this is a good one ! Clever, well done (although the color-blind mode could be better implemented IMHO), does not default in that bad full-screen mode but kindly ask. GAOTD, go that way !

The game installed and activated with no problem, but as soon as I click on Play, I get a DEP error. (DEP is enabled for all programs and services.)

Downloads, activates, plays. Oh thank you, THANK YOU, for this one from this "Snowy:Puzzle Islands" addict. After completing every level the little bear threw at me and wishing for more, I'm very much looking forward to CubeDrift. I mutter my own "yesssss" when I solve the puzzle. The prospect of creating my own devious traps has me salivating. Many thanks to WhiteRabbit aka Stephen for your helpful bits on folders.(tried Snowy:Puzzle Islands?) Now then, if only I could postpone this darned 10:30 appointment...

Sorry forgot to mention, once you download the levels, they need to be dropped into the game folder where you extracted the game to in the first place. I don't know whether this is automated. But if you place the game in a non default HDD (I placed mine in my D:games folder)other than the C; drive, you will definitely have to copy and paste the games files to the Games folder yourself, so make a note of where it was downloaded to.

Thanks for deleting the other posts i made GoTD team...they made me look like an idiot. :)

I've just discovered that this game has a levels editor, which is fantastic. The game reminds me of one that saw the rounds of the commodores and early 286/386 PC's in the 80's called cubix. This is a nice clone of that game. The levels editor is a bonus. The music is okay; a 50 minute track, reminicient of early 'Tangerine Dream'. Very mellow in places. Nice..... someone must have been jamming on fruty loops, lol. As soon as I saw that it had a levels editor, I thought....'Fan Site'...(yep it does have one), which at the monemt stands at only 18 membbers with only one actively making new levels. There's five extra levels packs available for the game completely free, with the potential for many more, now that probably thousands have downloaded this game. It really is a great puzzle game, although an earlier version I used to play called 'cubix' was much more colorful, however it didn't have the advantage of a levels editor, which is always a big plus for me when buying arcade games. You can join the forums where the free levels are available by going to the following link http://www.dextrogames.com/forum/index.php ... Let's see some of you game enthusiasts out there make some levels. I don't think you have to be a registered user to download the free levels from the site, but if you want to leave a comment or upload home made levels to be shared you will need to register.

Good one GoTD team. I hope we get more games with levels editors.

I recommend Gish if you can persuade the developers to contribute to the give away project. It has a levels editor, won best game of the year a few years ago, but is only available from a few sources, so doesn't seem to have taken off big time. The fan site has a good number of free levels. Check it out please as i'm sure it will be a winner. (I've already got it by the way)

Hey to the ADMIN!
Why don't the comments on the freeware library pages work??
I have entered numerous comments on there to try to add to the site and when I submit the page it returns me to the downloading... page with still ZERO comments on it and also tried to redownload the file.
Have you not wondered why there are so many zero comment pages?
I also tried just leaving a comment on the program page (instead of after I had downloaded it) but it still does not return the submitted form with a newly commented page.
A problem methinks.
anyway this game is GREAT and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!
Love the site(s).
Keep up this fine work!
