Today Giveaway of the Day

A scifi first person shooter inspired by games  like Halo an Doom.

Creepy Dolls is a puzzle game on the theme of creepy dolls, consisting of 35 fragments and 12 game levels. The game has a preview of the picture before the game, you can see how the final image should look, after which it will disappear (5 seconds). In the game, you need to swap tiles in order to make a complete image, as all the fragments will stand correctly, then you will receive a notification that the game is over, and after 5 seconds you will move to a new level. In this version, there is no transition to a new level if you have not completed the current level.

The game includes one hint with which it is easy to start the game, the lower right fragment is marked with the "GameREA" logo. it will also not work to start the game from any level. When you pass the level, the password of this level will be written at the bottom of the panel, from which you can start the game if you enter it on the passwords tab, which is located in the menu. The game is colorful and I hope that you will like this format. Good luck to everyone in the game.

Creepy Dolls :

In Brief:
Creepy Dolls is another of GameREA's swap the element puzzles where you click on the piece you wish to move and then click on where you want it to move. This swaps the position of both elements. Each of the 12 creepy doll images is in the form of a 5x7 grid, i.e., 35-piece puzzle.

As with the previous puzzle we were given last week, each puzzle includes a level unlock code. All levels are locked apart from the first one. As you complete a level, you then unlock the next one. If you don't make a note of the level codes, you will have to replay the game from the first image each time. The size of these puzzles will take anywhere between 5 to 10 minutes to complete. When starting a puzzle, you get a quick look see of the completed puzzle then the elements are shuffled. There's no timer included with this puzzle.

I completed several of the puzzles in less than 30 minutes and have posted the level codes for anyone that wants to skip ahead a little over in the forums HERE. If you don't want to know the level codes, don't look at the images too closely as they also show the level code for the image being completed.

You can see a video of game play HERE
These new puzzles are slightly harder than previous jigsaws.

Personally, I find the use of the level locks inconvenient as it means I need to keep a record of the level codes. I'm sure many of you who played games back in the 90's and 2000's are familiar with the saving feature. How many of you kept those records. Apart from a few I used to have to restart from the beginning if I returned to a game month or even years later.

I used to play a lot of games back in the 90's and early 2000's that also used this type of save system and it was annoying back then as well. I still have level codes for some games that I recorded in one of my diaries.
Notes on Security
I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found zero hits from 64 antimalware engines. You can see the scan results HERE

There are free jigsaw puzzles that have the ability to upload your own images and select different shapes and sizes, giving you a virtually infinite source of free jigsaws; e.g. Astra Gift Maker HERE, and from the same site, BigJig HERE and Lena Games for a selection of other jigsaws HERE. You can also do a free daily jigsaw curtesy of Shockwave HERE
There are commercial versions that are very configurable for example Jigsaws Galore HERE and BrainsBreaker HERE. you'll almost certainly be able to find lots more free and commercial jigsaws just by Googling. :)

If you are stuck for images to upload to the above free jigsaw games (which I doubt), there are a plethora of sites that offer free images; one of my favourites that I've visited often is called Digital Blasphemy, where you can download free versions of commercial images that are ideal for the above free and commercial jigsaw puzzles. You can find Digital Blasphemy HERE.
I've also removed some of the images from my main comment and added them here to cut down the length of the review.

Thanks for the update, Swordsman. What a strange key binding and it also makes the codes pointless.

Today's game giveaway has images of what is supposed to be creepy dolls. They are mildly creepy but done in a fashion that can still maintain a family friendly standard as they are not graphic at all so the whole family can play.

If you're looking for something more creepy Halloween-wise checkout the Five Nights at Freddy's series.

The images in the puzzles are well done as with standard Game Rea fashion. But those locks gotta go! They are meant for other genres of games and or mobile platforms!

If today's game is not your cup of tea, 8 Floor right now has 10 game packs of different themed jigsaw puzzles on Steam for $10.35 average for many of the packs.

I'm not sure if my comment will be moderated in time but it's good to know that many Steam sales are weekly and end at 10am Monday where new sales get loaded into the catalog.
