I just ain't fond of 2D-graphics which remind me of times long passed away. E.g., you never know whether you're going to splash right down into the water because of 2D.
What's more to my dislike, are some details which are confusing, and from an educational approach, highly counterproductive. Isn't it silly to present a simple worm or a bee delivering honey and being literally one the most busiest animals, as a "very dangerous monster" along with crocodile and piranha? Come on, developers! The latter animal looks like a toy fish, and you see nothing of its sharp teeth which no developer in his pool would be eager to make acquaintance with.

But, after all, I KNOW that sooner or later GGOTD will make us happy again with games such as "Snowy", "Magic Ball" and a strategy game like "Styrateg" (but hopefully more challenging next time...).

i give it the benefit of the doubt and tried the THIRD and surely the last time to get this game to work but no no no ..it activates fine.. set-up is fine BUT when i try to play it there is half a pic at the beginning then it minimizes to the bottom then try it again then it just closes down ..first time ever having a problem and no it wasnt a false positive because my anti-virus didnt find anything it was when i right clicked to scan that i got the potential security warning ..was looking forward to this game but i guess i will have to wait for the next one.. :(

I do multiple scans on ALL downloaded files even from safe sites like this one, a good habit to get into because the one time you forget may be the time there's a problem. But since you were sure enough to post about it, I went back and did a quick manual check.

There's no problem with this game or the files contained in today's downloaded zip, after installation there's still no problem. Relax, you got a false positve.
Hey it happens, that's one reason why it's a good idea to use more than one security program. The other reason is so your computer has multi-layered protection, a good idea for anyone who does a lot of downloading or web surfing.

Wouldn't work, but no complaints, try another one tommorrow.

so noone should write about computer problems here this is not the place dear just say some words in such a way that the people can deside to download the game or to wait for another game next day

I have never had a problem with any of the games from here either, mind I have just upgraded my graphics card to a GeForce 4600GS. But that was so I could play NWN2 properly

Cute, similar to Super Mario games. Different than the multi-level Foxy Jumper 2 and Snowy Adventure platform games, CheboMan is a side-scroller. Alawar does go over-the-top at times with descriptions though, as in calling the episodes "breath taking"...lol.

Agree with Bonnie, ability to change controls is a nice option. #13 Oogle, if you're having trouble controlling the character you might want to try that option, different keys may make control easier for you. Also note that with the default arrow keys you can hold two arrow keys at the same time and the character will move in both directions simultaneously.

Re: #4 Gee Emm:
Definitely look into things others mentioned; update your video drivers and look into possible Direct X conflicts. In fact you may need a new video card entirely, especially if as you say NONE of the games from this site run on your computer. All the games tried run fine for me and judging from comments they run fine for others too. It's only occasionally someone may have problems with one specific game. If indeed none work for you then you need to realize the problem is on your computer, it's not that everyone else should "beware the games".

@#4: Do you have a multi-monitor setup? If so, try disabling all but one. Some full screen games don't run right with multiple monitors.

Otherwise, check for updated video drivers as Stephen suggested.

#4 - Sounds like you may have a DirectX problem, certainly nothing to do with GGOTD games which are in any case from several different companies.

Nice one GotD team. Installs easily, and works smoothly. I've never had a black screen from any of the games I've installed from GotD Gee Emm comment #4, maybe you have a problem with your computer, old drivers or something else. Can't figure it, sorry.

Love all the games, never ANY problem with my computer!

Smooth download on Windows XP as usual with Alawar. Lots of fun and lovely graphics. I've only played briefly(I wanted to activate and play before midnight)and look forward to finding all the nooks and crannies for surprise bonuses etc. It reminds me of a demo I had on my old CPU with a little turtle - the name escapes me. From a glance in the help section, the monsters get more treacherous and I'll have a challenge staying alive.

The options in the menu are much appreciated. Being able to control sensitivity and which keys to use(I like "space" to jump)makes a difference in game play for those of us without game controllers or steering wheels. The two player function looks like fun. I imagine once the kids know where the best bonuses are the bouncing is fierce! What happens when they collide?

Gonna wear out the keyboard on this one.

Really good game. You can use a gamepad to play too. Thats a plus. I played the easy round and found it to be a pretty good challenge at times. It plays very much like Mario Brothers. Keep up the good work GGOTD. Thanks!!

Almost every game I downloaded and tried from GAOTD turns my monitor black and freezes. I love most of the aps you offer but beware the games.
