One thing I wanted to add about today's giveaway is that if you have a tablet or large screen phone and you find tapping the screen difficult you can use a Bluetooth mouse on many Android tablets support Bluetooth keyboards and mouse. Especially handy if you have a tablet that has a stand you can sit it on it's side and potentially treat it like a Chrome Book. I've personally tested this with a Logitech Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse with an Amazon Fire tablet and it worked as expected, I saw a pointer on the screen.

There seem to be different versions of Castle Clash, same way there's all sorts of Candy Crush games. There's a version in the Windows Store -- microsoft.com/en-us/p/castle-clash-world-ruler/9wzdncrdsc48?cid=msft_web_chart&activetab=pivot:overviewtab
At least one version of Castle Clash is also available in the Amazon App Store so you *might* be able to load & play on Win11's Android subsystem, though it *may* require sideloading. And you can play using an Android emulator like BlueStacks -- bluestacks.com/apps/strategy/castle-clash-on-pc.html

I own an iPod Touch and also an iPhone XR. While my XR has a bigger screen, i prefer to keep games off my main phone and play then on a smaller screen on the iPod Touch.
Let's just say this game will challenge your brain on what to do next on the map. There is a lot happening on the screen where newcomers to this genre will have issues playing unless they try and try again to conquer the game.
Not exactly my cup of tea here, if there is any grinding to be done, I'd prefer to do it casually through slots and solitaire and mahjong games. Today's giveaway just overwhelmed me, perhaps I'm in one of those categories where I just don't understand the concept of these types of games.
I will say that since this game is heavy on processing power you should have a fairly reasonable device that will handle the graphics and action on the screen. Budget tablets sold in stores may not be able to handle it.
Also this game seems like it would be designed for a tablet, for a larger screen , smaller screens, well not so much. However, if you're looking to try this game out and you don't own an iPhone or and Android, you could download a program called Blue Stacks which is essentially an Android Emulator.
The system requirements are fairly reasonable for it and should run on most computers in the last couple of years. Don't forget, this site also has giveaways for Android games and iPhone games which are tabs at the top of the screen. I've yet to try them out but one day I'll get around to it.
Good luck to those who are playing this game, if you enjoy this type of game you'll have fun. Just prepare to grind and grind.............

sailorbear510 aka Jason,
Thank you for your feedback Jason. I'll have to check out Blue Stacks sometime soon. There have been some decent looking android games available via the game giveaway over the last few years, maybe I'll find some time to finally play some of them if I figure out the Blue Stacks emulator. :)
You can download the less than 1MB Blue Stacks HERE.

" I'll have to check out Blue Stacks sometime soon."
It's a bit involved... checked it out a while back seeing if I could get the HBOMax app working in Win11 -- while I did get it installed in the Android subsystem, it wouldn't work because no play services. At the time there were 2 versions, the complete emulator & a light version that just used a subset or portion of the full emulator. Neither was anywhere close to just 1 MB installed -- minimum system requirements for a few games I just looked at on the BlueStacks site specify 5GB free HDD space.
The problem I ran into was the same one as the Win11 Android stuff -- no Play services. If the game or app uses them the only way to get those services AFAIK is with a device that ships with them installed, e.g., a phone or tablet, because the manufacturer has to sign an agreement with Google, meeting all of their requirements.
RE: Not having wanting a cell phone... in the US at least they have several simplified phones & services to make it more painless for old folks -- you did say you were now a pensioner. :) :) :)

mike,
Thanks for the info Mike, appreciated. Probably won't bother with it.

mike, regarding the loss of landlines: no matter how simple or 'more painless' you claim alternatives would be, I guarantee you that many older people (definitely including my mother, who is 92) will decide — for themselves, and regardless of the facts — that ANY alternative is 'too complicated;' and thus WILL end up literally not using any phone which is offered or even supplied free of charge.
I myself wasn't aware that UK landlines were to be annihilated as soon as 2025, and I'm pretty angry about that. I have a nice two-handset setup here, which was relatively expensive, and uses BT Call Guardian (essentially, blocks all unwanted callers). This kit is less than ten years old and I am NOT happy at the prospect of having to find some comparable "digital" equivalent.
