Car Drive:

In Brief:
Car Drive is a 2D vehicle driving game with minimal graphic, where you have to get from the start to the finish without overturning.

Car Drive was given away on the 19th April 2022 where it received a positive 50% from 16 votes with 4 comments which you can see HERE. I'm surprised to see it repeated so soon after the previous giveaway. I've reposted my original review with an updated virus scan. If you prefer to keep your games in a Steam library, or support the developer you'll find the game HERE, with 51% off until the 7th September costing £0.39/$0.49. (basically costing a couple of large gulps of Starbucks coffee)

The Game:
In Car Drive you have to get one of several vehicles across various landscapes to the finish line without your vehicle overturning. To prevent this from happening you have to change the angle (pitch) of the vehicle as it transverses the rough terrain.

Use the D key to accelerate the A key to brake and the W and S keys to increase (W) or decrease (S) the angle of the vehicle as you move.

The following short review was the only positive comment posted over on Steam when this was given away back in April and was by a Steam community member called Haunted Husband HERE

Car Drive is a simplistic game. There's no abundance of mechanics, gimmicks or systems that you need to master to be good at the game. You simple drive and adjust your pitch when needed to avoid flopping over like a turtle on their back. The graphics are minimalist, the music is banging and controls are spot on. I highly recommend Car Drive based on the price and the amount enjoyment I got out of it. Try it for yourself, see how far the drive can take you.

Conclusion:
Car Drive is ideal for those ten to fifteen minute coffee/tea breaks we all need during the day. It's not a game I'd spend hours on, but for the odd brief moment it's playable. Once you figure the mechanics it becomes quite easy to beat, but can be challenging initially.

Notes on Security
I re-scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total (deleting the original results that were also clear) and it found zero hits from 60 antimalware engines. You can see the result of the latest scan HERE

The downloaded executable 'may' include some low level adware that only opens your browser once to Falcoware's home page after the game has installed and also places four shortcuts onto your desktop (which can be safely deleted once the game has installed).

The installation does NOT inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to Falcoware's home page following the games installation, it earns Falcoware games some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away for free. Once you've installed the game, there are no more browser redirections. This is because Falcoware removed their installer almost two years ago (that installer would show an advert for a game while the game was loading (which always took about 20 seconds to ensure you'd seen the advert) . It would also always open your browser each time you closed the game after playing it.)
If you're still not convinced of the games efficacy and want to be absolutely sure that the game is safe to install, please use a sandbox program first, to check that the game is safe to install before installing it to your C drive or other drives on your computer (assuming you have more than one drive).
