Raxx: The Painted Dog is a gripping Puzzle game!

On each stage you play one or pair of little dragons against enemies. These dragons can blow bubbles to catch enemies inside. After that you hould jump on bubble with an enemy trapped inside and pop them! To increase your score you should pick up items: fruits, vegetables, diamonds, jewels etc. You can also pick up some items to make your journey easy.

These items are called "bonuses". They appear on stages after some events. Some of them increase speed, range of bubbles' firing, others give you a chance to get more score points or extra lives. On some stages you can pop special bubbles that appear from holes in the top or/and bottom of stage.

These special bubbles will help you to destroy monsters in different ways. Your goal is to defeat the Mad Sorcerer (first episode - stage with 1 on 100) and the Ghost (second episode - stage with 101 on 200). The Mad Sorcerer is located on 100th level. The Ghost is located on 200th level. Various monsters on each level will try to stop you, so your journey will not be so easy.

Okay... the Bubble Bobble clones are starting to annoy me.
I agree with #31, too. A flight sim would be nice.

#6 (not-unique aka Stephen) - I disagree. I find that the more a person is into a type of thing, the more picky they are with it. For example, I've found no arcade shooter that matches the excellence of Raptor: Call Of The Shadows.

#17 (Marcelo) - Yeah, it continues to surprise me, too.
...With the fact that it's still alive. (LET IT DIE, ALREADY.)

#20 (Plats) - I must've missed something. What do Paris Hilton and Madonna have anything to do with this site, or even any of the products that were shown here?

#22 (Drest) - Define "real". I hope you aren't expecting to see Unreal Tournament 2007 here.

#23 (angelspirit) - You don't have to comment on every entry.
In fact I hope you don't - unless you really to try every one of these titles - because GotD already knows they're doing a good (or at least decent) job. As much as they don't need empty criticisms ("u suck!"), they also don't need empty cheering ("omg u rock ppl stop complaining!"). What they need is comments like #31 that explain why products (or in the case of GotD, selections) are good, and why they are not good.

#27 (Rae) - Because as been said by several people already, criticism is what lets people know what they've done right and what they've done wrong. See the paragraph above.

Thanks for this, although I agree that there have been too many games geared to young kids lately.

I'd love a good flight simulator!

To #7:
They have 'Tanks Evolution' and 'Tank-o-box'. Those are for older kids (Teens, too, as I am one) and Adults. They're cool games. I wonder if these games go up for free more than once if you miss one?
This game is kinda for lil' kids.

XD :D

After finding this site accidentally I have enjoyed coming back every day to see what's new and available. It is MY choice whether to download or not the offered game. I read comments, check screnshots, etc before I decide to get the daily game. Considering I (and everyone else who chooses to get games here) get the game for FREE I fail to see why anyone would complain. You're getting something for nothing folks- that's pretty rare nowadays. Enjoy and appreciate the hard work involved in getting these games to us.

Another great game! I forgot to comment yesterday... (sorry!). That game works great just like this one! They may be simple... but you all have given away games that adults would like.... Its like Christmas every day just waiting to see what is next! Keep a hard coating on all of you GOTD people! This site and the work behind it is very much appreciated by more than those that give harsh comments, I bet!!!!! Thanks again!

Wow, this Bubble Bubble clone is even closer to the original than the other one was. I cant believe GameOver can actually charge $20 for this.

#10, you shouldn't blame Square Enix for your own ignorance. Their games clearly say on the front of the case with large letters what system they are for. Square Enix makes some of the best games around and aren't ripping off anyone.

Such a cute game which brings one to their chidhood days.Fun to play and full of sweet innocence.Certainly not the greatest game in the world but still a good one to fool around with.Overall I would certainly recommend it to anyone who likes the simple things in life like the wiggles. If your into Paris Hilton , Madonna , etc then this might not be for you because at least its not PRETENTIOUS. The Plats has spoken and if your wise you will listen.Keep up the good work gameoftheday - your a breath of fresh air amongst all these pretenders.

I guess I'm one of those that just downloads and never comments. OK, here
s a comment. I couldn't believe this site when I found it. It has got be the only site on the web that says "FREE" and actually means it. My 13 year old daughter loves all the games while I am having a blast using the other programs. Thanks so much for all the great goodies, I have told quite a few about your site. Keep up the good work!!

I find it very hard to believe that this isn't copyright infringement of the legally prosecutable kind. Taito still owns those characters, and they still release Bubble Bobble games. Bad ones, but still - a new one came out for the Nintendo DS last year.

#10, I'm sure whatever game you bought is not playable for you because of your own ignorance. I wouldn't be surprised if you were trying to run a Playstation game in a PC.

Square-Enix has been releasing great games for years, the Final Fantasy series has marked my childhood and continues to surprise me.

This is a most delightful game. My grandson phoned before school, "Gramps will you download it for me on your pc?" So downloaded it with the intention of just checking it out. Wow, an hour later and here I still am playing it. I am addicted already! Great game with neat sounds and songs. Fun being the dragon because the monsters do not look all that deadly till one of them touches you. Thankfully there are hundreds of bubbles coming out of your shooter so the fun never ends. No blood, No gore. This steals the stage for me for today. Thank you GOTD! Another great day for us!

#9. Square-Enix has been ripping off the public for years by making games that are not playable on any machine. I just purchased one of theirs and it is not playable on anything we have. Now they wont refund our money and say that we cant sell it to anyone, so its going in the trash can.

I'm sure that the Taito Corporation, owned by Square-Enix is thrilled that their copyright is being violated again.

It seems every day it's another game which will be "perfect for the kids," how about a game which is entertaining and challenging enough to be a diversion for ADULTS...?

By the way comments #2 & #3 I've checked the game out and although this isn't the game for me, it's not as bad as you make out. The graphics are ideal for a youngster, and the gameplay is ideal. My kids (as mentioned above) are going to love this. The more lvels the better as my son whizzes through levels like there's no tomorrow, lol For those who particularily like this sort of game, this is probably fantastic. Well done GoTD team for catering to everyones tastes. It surely is expanding my likes. thank you very much. :D

This is one for my children. They will love it. I personally love the action, word and puzzle games. Arkanoids in particular and now thanks to you the space shoot em ups as well. Any plans to put up any pong clones as there's some fantastic ones out there, such as "Little Gods" developed and distributed by Grim Inventions (www.griminventions.com), a beautiful meld of pong and arkanoid; and "Rival Ball Tournament" developed by Longbow Digital Arts (www.LDAGames.com) and distributed by Reflexive Arcade. This one also has some expansion packs, a very gorgeous and rich looking game; again a cross between pong and breakout. You can put up as many clones of Breakout/Arkanoid as you like as I'll love em all. Only trouble is I've already bought all the ones that Alawar offer including the latest Magic Ball 3, plus over a humdred more from places like Reflexive Arcade; so it's highly unlikely you'll have a new one in that department, lol. No problems though as every day is Christmas in this house with the marvellous software you give away.

Thank you so much for making my mornings a pleasure. I no longer lay there wondering what to do for the rest of the day. Virtually all of the games you've offered have been like going on a voyage of discovery, and have added some fun to an otherwise boring life. The utilites have expanded my interest in computers in general as previously I only used them for playing games such as Batlefield 2, Arkanoid games and writing reviews. Now i've got back into video and phot editing and will hopefully be setting up a web site very soon, once I get my act together. (sorry folks, read my comment in the utilities section and you'll probably guess why i'm so morose, lol).

I've posted the links above as I though they may be useful sources of new software for the Giveaway project. Both are relatively small development houses and I reckon may benefit from maybe giving away at least one of their titles. It's just a suggestion though. (I suppose I should post these in the forums, but not entirely sure whether that is the right place to post unless there was a specific thread for suggestions) By the way I have both the games mentioned above so wouldn't benefit, unless an expansion was offered for Rival Ball later, lol. Both are beautifully crafted games and I would recommend anyone at least trying the demo's as they are very playable and have a lot of replayability as well (for those that may end up purchasing them)......No I don't work for them ,lol

Anyway I hope this project continues into the far future as there's a whole lot of software out there. Keep up the good work, it really is appreciated by a lot of people now. How many people download these programs on a daily basis? It would be interesting to see the disparity in the number who take and the number who comment. I bet it's quite large as from my experience on web sites, a very significant portion of subscribers only visit to download and never comment, which is everyones right, but i personally think is very rude. "Cest la Vie" :)

when will the gamemakers stop making bad clones , i mean i felt like dinos and bubbles was bad , but this is worse , play Bubble Bobble the original and look how the gamemakers have added extras and improved on it with its many sequls.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubble_Bobble

this game is exactly the same no new bonuses , no new moves , no special character etc which all they done was add 100 more levels but this game is so bad i stopped after the 2nd.
because its free does not make it a good game cos this is like the 4th Bubble Bobble clone and the worst of em all.

not worth the download
2/10

This game is like a cheap imitation of a game given away by game giveaway of the day called dinos and bubbles. Dinos and bubbles was much much much much much better, so if you got dinos and bubbles don't bother with this game. Annoying music, crud graphics, and almost exactly the same gameplay as the aforementioned similar game.
