Great game. Downloaded and installed and I've played it for hours on the hard mode. It gives a good challenge. Thank you for the awesome game.

Works fine on Vista. I like it, a nice twist on Mah Jong, definitely something kids would enjoy with the caterpillar and flying points number when you make a match, fun eye candy for the kids. Not my favorite game (like Hyperballoid more), but I do like Alawar (btw, love the power-ups in Hyperballoid, reminds me of Magic Ball, and love the music with Hyper too). Keep up the good work Alawar.

I highly recommend this game. It came out months ago and I have been addicted ever since. Not a day goes by that I don't play it. I cannot clearly articulate why this Mahjong game is so fascinating compared to all the others I have downloaded, I just know it is.
The fruit and greens tiles are the most easily differentiated. I find the other two types impossible to use, I wish this were not so, but every silver lining has a cloud, I guess.
thank you Alawar, and Thank you, Whiterabbit, I depend on your expertise every day.
BTW there is an interesting hangup on the 16th level; a sign informs one that the level is invalid. It doesn't seem to have any significance but I thought it worthy of mention.

Who needs it? Vista has a mahjongg game with a timer and point-based scoring, and it's preinstalled. Also, no dead-end levels.

I know this is a simple game. But for those of us who aren't terribly analitical. THIS GAME IS A BLAST.
Helps us old people to think. I have a hard time to stay on task. I got to the 20th level before I quit. Sometimes I can't concentrate on anything for more then 10 to 15 min. This one I spent almost an hour on. The kids will love this as it isn't to far above their thinking pattern. Thanks GAODG.

This game is a lot of fun.

I just about passed this one up, but the comments convinced me to at least give it a try(also it was an Alawar:). Thanks everyone, this is a keeper that I know will be a lot of family fun. Meme, you really made me smile, nothing like "yay mom"points huh? Thank you, GGAOTD and Alawar.

I downloaded this back in May and beat every single level (even the bonus ones) on every difficulty. so every level IS POSSIBLE TO BEAT. I was hoping this was a bloxxit two.

I downloaded BloxxIt today....looks like a fun game. Why is it only for 60 minutes? I activated it, did setup and looked at Readme. What more can I do?

This game is great for kids, or playing along with your kids--and I love being able to choose 4 different types of background music. I also like having an alternative to some of the violent cartoons on the TV. Thank you, GOTD and Alawar.

I'm new to the Game Giveaway of the Day and so far, it's pretty great. My 9 yr old son loves to play different games and when finaces are tight, your giveaways are a blessing! He loves this game! He played it at a friend's (who got it in May) and so he's thrilled that he has it now. A lot of people complain about repeats - please don't because some of us are new to GGOTD and so we're just getting it. I've gotten the GOTD quite a while and never saw this one but glad now to have the GGOTD as well. THANK YOU so much from me and my son. He is really loving it and I sm scoring some "yay mom" points as well! Lol Thanks again!

I like it, although I don't think its mahjongg, it uses the tiles, but it isn't that kind of a game. It is very addicting, and challenging.

I had this before and love it! Quite challenging at the higher setting and levels. I love Mahjong type games and this is a great addition to the collection. I am SO glad to get it back after losing almost everything to a crash!

This is more like "Rivers" than true Mahjongg. You can remove based on a "clear path" rule rather than the open end rule of Mahjongg. That makes it more like Rahjongg than Mahjongg!

I like it and it works great under Vista.

#12, max, your rule description is incomplete. Internal tiles/stones can be removed if matching pairs are adjacent.

#5, Retroboy, see if the preceding solves your dilemma (I haven't tried the advanced levels).

I got this game the last time it was offered and had some fun with it. It's a cute matching game. Don't look for the traditional Majongg trappings here. instead it's a fast paced little game that I am sure kids would enjoy.

#1 - it's not that bad! Removal of the tiles is different to the normal MahJonng, the music can be changed but the resolution can't. A good one Alawar and GGotd!

Downloaded; installed; no problems on Xp home; This game is different than most as the tiles you match have to be in line with the first tile you select so that the dots can connect. This feature makes it different than most majong games. It is like connecting the dots and if something is in the path; forget it; Hated the first music while playing; discovered you can change it as well as the tiles by going into options. I recommend this to all majong fans and if you never tried majong, now is the time!

I downloaded this game the last time it was offered and love it. Yes, it is a mindless time waster, but sometimes that is just what I am looking for. Maybe that's because I'm older and hate the hurry-up and do something games.

I had this game before, but lost it when C drive had to be wiped. It was one of my favorites & I'm delighted that you're offering it again. The caterpillar scurrying around to catch the tiles is an extra graphical bonus that we don't get in other mahjongg games. Here's a tip: try the different tile sets. I found the kitchen set colors hard to differentiate but the Carpentry tool set is excellent. ENJOY!! & special thanks to Alawar & GGOTD.

I meant to post some information the day Hyperballoid was given way 2 days ago, that may have helped with the problem running the game, especially for those with dual core systems, and also some additional information about extra levels for those who absolutely adore the game. I was too tired and forgot to post it till early this morning, and thought I'd mention it today for those who still have it on their system or didn't use the uninstaller to delete it (which probably removed the registration code from your registry if you did)

Just follow the link below and go to my final comment #73:

Enjoy ;)

Great, colorful game, but after patiently going through the tutorial and watching the demo, I have absolutely no idea how to play it. It's a shame - I'd love to play it.

Hi. This one gets a downvote from me because the more advanced levels are sometimes configured to be impossible to beat. Instead of writing the level construction code so that levels always have at least one right solution, they just randomly insert the tiles and this leads to configurations that require you to lose a life and reload.

Overall the game is a good little play, and the music is very well done in spots. But its faulty mechanic will frustrate if you, like me, try to play games like this to their logical conclusion.

Cheers,
-- Retro

This is pleasant repeat from early May, a match two tiles Mah-jong game which was well received the first time around with 115 positive votes ( 85%), although many thought it a little too easy. I would say it is an ideal introduction to this genre for you kids to enjoy, although there are loads of these games around of a much higher quality, so would reconsider if you were going to purchase the game at a later date.

The only review of note from the previous giveaway was from Swan comment #11 and #18. Her final comment was a little more negative saying that she completed the game in its entirety (51 levels) in little over an hour or so.

I have a lot of Mah-jong games (~20) in my library, including a traditional bamboo and resin set with pretend bones for counting your score, so this one will not be kept this time around. I would definitely recommend keeping it if you don’t have any Mah-jong games, or if you have young children.

Worth 6 out of 10 in my opinion; (I would probably have scored it higher if I didn’t have much better versions of this game)

Thank you for your continued presence here Alawar and to the Game Giveaway team, keep up the excellent work.

I am not a fan of this genre, and will therefore not be downloading it. Unlike some, I will also not cast a thumbs-down or negative vote unless I actually download the game, try it fairly, and have problems with it. Thanks for the offer GGAOTD, and Alawar Entertainment, I enjoy most games from here. Keep up the great work.

Thanks
