Awesome Taxi is a moon lander style game where you pick up and drop off passengers in your flying saucer.

The Game:

Okay, just a very quick comment today. It's a moon lander type of game where you have to fly a saucer picking up passengers and avoiding hitting anything while you are airborne. The only time you can touch anything apart from power-ups is when you pick up your fare and when you land at their destination. It's a cute game with simple but decent graphics, ideal for those odd minute breaks in between work and more in-depth games. You have to pick up your passenger before the time runs out and return them to their destination before the timer runs out. There is an indicator arrow showing the direction you need to travel in. If you hit any walls or land heavily you lose some of your ships health. Hit a third time and you explode. There is a health and fuel indicator above the saucer and also . There are fuel canisters and repair kits available sometimes.

The game installs to C:\Program Files (x86)\Awesome Taxi by default and once installed is 151MB in size. If you uncheck the desktop shortcut checkbox you still get four of Falcowares shortcuts intalled. These can safely be removed

Conclusion:

If you like moon-landers, you'll probably enjoy Awesome Taxi. There are only 20 levels, so you'll get through them in less than an hour, but its still a worthwhile download. I enjoyed the limited time I spent playing the game and will return to it at some point.
