Once upon a time there was a nice prosperous country where people lived their peaceful life facing no troubles. They were ordinary men and women who could be proud of their country. But one day the king of it put an end to the relaxing atmosphere of the people's lifestyle. He met an astrologer and decided to execute him for no logical reasons. The whole country and the king were cursed with the last words of the astrologer. Luckily, the court magus found the solution – his advice was to find some special rare ingredients which could put an end to the evil spell. If you're brave enough and the adventures like this don't frighten you then you must go and look for the ingredients to ruin the spells of Astrology.

Sorry Brenda, your comment was not appropriate for this comments section, so has been deleted. It's meant for comments about the game given away a the time, which was over 3 years ago. Please find a suitable Astrology forum to post your good news.

brenda harry,

Hi Brenda, thank you for posting your wonderful story, however, this is not the place to post such things as it is a gaming forum meant for comments about the game given away, so I've had to delete the post. Astrology was a giveaway from October 2016, so its very unlikely anyone would even read your comment now anyway. I would suggest you find a suitable Astrology forum where you can post your good news.

p.s. If I committed adultery and my wife found out she would throw me out immediately as I would with her. Once someone is willing to do such a thing, they will always be tempted. Just my thoughts on the matter. Good luck in your marriage I truly hope he stays faithful to you.

Regards Stephen

There are no options for anything; on my 23" monitor this game runs in a small (about 8" square) window centered in a black screen; even if not a wide screen version, at least fill the screen vertically.

Otherwise a decent, though not exceptional, breakout game. I enjoy such games, though am miserable at them (still play, via DOSBox, the ancient Electranoid).

Didn't nab the game today but I've been watching in case we saw more news from Stephen. Been in my thoughts and prayers all day. I know a couple of people have expressed sympathy but let's not jump to conclusions and keep our prayers and positive healing vibes out there for those that might need them. Hopefully we'll all hear something soon. Until then sending prayers and blessings.

It appears that todays Game Giveaway of the Day, Astrology, is similar if not the same game that was given away on 09/24/16 with the name Arcanoid Ball of Destiny. Is this correct or am I seeing things?

Larrys of London, wait, now you've got me really worried? Condolences in the USA means, somebody has passed? I don't know if it means the same over there. Please let us know what's happened? What you know? thank you.

...........................................Moderator comment...................................

Sorry for the lack of moderation today. I was at the hospital for several hours and have to go back for further tests. Possible DVT. Can hardly walk for the pain etc. Wasn't in the mood to sit at the computer when I got back, partly becasue I was exhausted but also becasue of another problem; i.e. sitting on a chair of any sort causes other problems, which I'm also having investigation for' already had a scan and x-ray for that one. No worries, apart from those I feel fine. :)

Firstly I'd like to thank you for all of the well wishes that have been posted. Hopefully tomorrow I'll feel much better and will do some moderation. whether I'll post a review is another matter.

I do feel the need to apologise to anyone who has seen the posts from a community member who calls himself Satan's Slut, who I believe is Swampy due in part to his language and obvious dislike that I'm deleting his comments.. As yet I've not been able to block him but I'm hoping the giveaway team will add a vpn blocker to the site, which should stop him for good. As yet I've not asked the owners to do this partly due to my life being extremely busy at this time with other issues (legal and health). His posts are really disgusting. and definitely not for the eyes of children or for that matter any decent person here. As soon as I see his posts I do delete them with no comments because he is no longer worthy of such respect.

As for today's game, it is obviously made by the same developer as the Arconoid Ball game we got the other day. It has exactly the same ball physics, the same size and colored ball. and many of the bricks are the same, as are the rewards you get when you catch gems and the power ups are the same.

I echo the sentiment for WR.

I played two levels. My problem is that on my 4k monitor the game shows up in a tiny window in the center of the screen and I see no way to make it a window or to actually fill up the screen.

Add to the Best Wishes. Good thing is med people seem to have gotten better at what they do. Try to avoid being in their presence as much as possible of course. Not that we all didn't love playing Doctor as kids (the candy pills!) but as adults lot of incidents self-induced. Baseball player in play offs just cut his finger working on a drone so he's out of game tonight. Well that hit me with lesson about to those who are given much, much needs to be handled.
Game ran Windows 10. Didn't care for it after a few levels. Bare bones, not true full screen, no option settings, tiny blue ball. Couldn't find way to add lives so uninstalled after last ball level 5. Certain objects do seem to speed ball, but nothing like a wider bat and usual such things. Once lost last ball that's game over. Good thing because can't see getting attached to that tiny dot while it slams away in the upper regions and then you try and find it whenever a whole mess of stuff explodes. You have to be quick all of a sudden to suss out where the dot is gonna be. Much better versions of the breakout theme that this sort of Game Builder one. Thanks GOTD though. Be well Rabbit.

From the screenshots, at first, I thought it was a platform (I hope I got the name right) game - where you run, jump, climb to different levels. Not fond of that genre for the computer, though I used to enjoy them with either joystick or gamepad play. (Thinking of Nintendo of old, and the original Mario Brothers game(s) )
Now that I've read other comments (and add my wishes for good health and fortune, White Rabbit) I see it is an "old school" brick shooter. Newer brick shooters, with the 3-D effects, I do not enjoy. Not sure if it is the whole hand-eye co-ordination, or the bi-focal glasses, but I have a lot more trouble aiming when playing them. Therefore, they become too difficult too fast. The "old school" ones - I like a lot better. Will definitely play this one - a little later today - but in the meantime...
One other "complaint" I have about some of these brick shooters (again, may be related to eyesight, age, etc.) is that they have one thing which is likely meant to add a bit of difficulty, but instead adds way too much for me, is the "explosions" and the extra bits flying towards you on the screen - impossible, rather than just hard, to distinguish where the ball is. The other thing that I find somewhat bothersome -- in many of the newer games, when you finish one room/level, you are immediately taken to the next - I like the option of deciding after each level if I wish to continue to play, or to take a break. Instead, the game starts, and I must search the screen to find how to stop the game - often loosing a life in the process, and so the next session of play I start out with a disadvantage. Please make it possible to not have to play the game through all levels in one sitting!! (I haven't yet played this one, as I said, it will have to be later today - so I don't know just yet if those situations occur in this game.) Oh, and I just thought of a third comment in general: Mouse control rather than keyboard control - it is the closest to joystick or gamepad available to me ;)
Looking forward to downloading and playing this afternoon! (it is morning in my corner of the world; haven't even had my morning cuppa yet)

Hey Wabbit,

Hope everything turns out OK. I will be praying for you.

I have enough brick busting games as it is. I am not going to download this one unless some one points out a good/different reason as to why I should.

Thanks to GGOTD and MPC for the game.

And special huggles to you and yours.

A MPC game that downloaded and installed well, and like others have mentioned looks very much like Arcanoid , but different screens/theme and has to be the same developer. It is another brick shooter, which we tend to like, and so far has been very fun to play. Thanks MPC and GGAOTD!

Hi WR, hope nothing seriously bad happened to You or Family. Thanks for the Game. Might d/l it for my husband and he'll tell me if it's interesting enough to keep, as I don't really play these kind of Games. Will try to add more later once I know if 'Astrology' is worth recommending. All the Best!!

White rabbit, hope all is ok..

The game is a brick shooter, it is very similar to Arcanoid-Ball of destiny that was given away 24th Sept.
Like in that game there is no help available, I didn't encounter any pop-ups after playing 5 levels. This time the ball is a tiny blue dot.

The game can be fun for a lost minute but it gets quite boring very quickly.

Worth downloading when you're not so familiar with brick shooter games, it's easy and not timed.

Thanks for the game anyway :)

On the opening level (I have not tried anymore), this appears to be almost identical to Arcanoid: Ball of Destiny which was given away recently. There are some small differences, for example the decoration around the game area, and the lanterns explode rather than drop as bombs as they do in Arcanoid. I don't know if it will be a very different game by the end but if anyone does progress to the end, is it sufficiently different to be worth continuing?
Thanks for another game giveaway, team.

Sorry folks, but after playing both a little bit more I fear my first post was a bit misleading. The lanterns behave the same in both games, their exploding or dropping like bombs being dependent on how they are dislodged. So, no difference between the games in that respect.

@Whiterabbit-UK: Hope things are OK. (Not sure what is meant by "A&E" - possibly the British equivalent of "E.R"? (Emergency Room)). I've had my share of visits to those, if that's what you meant. Heart issues - enough said...

All the best,
