Ancient Arena

In Brief
Ancient Arena is the first of a trilogy of games created by Jurij over the last several weeks; the third of which we received early last week, It's a first person arena shooter.

Introduction
On one distant planet, there is an ancient arena. In this arena, warriors from different worlds show their skills. Scary monsters from the dark corners of distant galaxies will be your enemies. Now only hope for your experience, weapons and magic.

The Game
Like the third one Ancient Arena has a look of an early Doom level, with several types of monsters I've not seen in previous Jurij games. The graphic is much improved and the game play is more challenging than previous titles. Areas with a glowing symbol on the floor of the arena spawn randomly for short periods. If you are standing in one of these area's your health, which starts at 100, will be boosted to 200. They appear and disappear randomly. This game also has boss's spawning after a specific time. Once killed they drop a green container, that I've not figured out what it does. I've also not figured out what the six symbols are along the top of the arena that have a 100% , but I think they may relate to the different monsters you find; some of which can fire plasma balls at you.

It's actually very similar to a trilogy of games we received a few years ago, but I can't remember their names. I initially thought that you could progress to different levels as this game looks very similar to some games we've received previously a few years ago, where once you'd killed the boss a door would open to the next level, but in this game, like all of Jurij's games, there is just the one arena with constantly spawning monsters that appear from gates around the arena. You get a warning when bosses are going to respawn via a count down.

The downloaded executable may include some low level adware that only opens your browser to Falcowares home page after the game has installed, but does not inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to Falcowares home page it earns them some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away free.
