I'm 42 years old and I have played alien shooter 1st and loved it. And this latest one is just another of the best games to play, it will keep you up past your bed time!!

i love the wonderfull game, alien shooter 2, but at level 8 i have suddenly great problems, what do other users in that case? not enough lifes not enough munitions, weapon shop closed , and at all i do not know which way is the right way to choose to go to shoot down the aliens and the 3 things where always more aliens come out
can someone help me please i m real lost............. thank you

In the installation folder C:\Program Files\Sigma Team there should be 2 directories, one for Alien shooter and the other for thesus. Both dirs are pretty much the same, but I notice that in the folder called 'logs' there is always a text file called error.log.

Its contents are how this .wav file is missing or another is missing, but all the missing files are ON THE OTHER GAME. The ones missing in Theseus are in AS and vice versa. I copied from one /wav Theseus to /wav/SI and the errors were gone!

The programs have always worked fine for me, but I thought that this was very curious. Do the demos contain more wav files? Could there be /Vid files that have the same problem?

I am going to check it. I have the game installed in two computers so I don't mind breaking one.

Yay! Thanks Sigma Team for offering games that don not require to ACTIVATE before running the SETUP! WOW....no complaints about the GOTD Team saying it's free when it's not...and it's only a demo!

I don't like these shooter type games....but sure nice not to read all the moaning and groaning about the demo versions! Keep up the great giveaways GOTD...I have downloaded lots of games...and all for FREE!

Pretty cool game! I'm not a gamer purse', so my opinion is of no authority due to my lack of experience. But I like a good little shoot 'em up once in a while. I've got some nice games, but just haven't had time to install them yet or play. Just rebuilt my PC and got it back up after being down for a cpl months, so this is a nice addition when I get bored from the routine stuff. I think the graphics are good. The action is certainly there and will keep anyone on their toes so-to-speak. I'm going to dwnld this onto my sons PC for him next and surprise him. I'm sure he'll like it too. Based on the few games I have played I'd give this one an 6 out of 10 for the graphics, and an 8 out of 10 for the game play. Definitely a keeper!

I forgot to try the 'old fix-all,' - I rebooted and the game launched just fine. *laughs* To me that's kind of like a kicking a faulty TV to make it work. :)

Anyway, I admit that I'm a complete stranger to these types of games, but I'm interested enough to want to try. So - after going through the 'shop,' I'm by a campfire - I move forward and blast the heck out of the crates, receive first aid kit and something else - then I can't move at all!

Would anyone care to laugh at me and tell me what I'm doing wrong please? :)

Hello everyone ;)

As always, this program activated and installed beautifully.

However, I simply cannot get the game to launch. I've tried it from both the program files AND the shortcut on my desktop and all I get is a black screen.

So - I uninstalled it - reinstalled it and tried again - same problem exactly! When I check the task manager (after attempting to launch,) it doesn't even show it as a running application.

I'm really confused, as I'm no dummy around computers (no techy either!) but I'm just not sure what the problem might be.

Any ideas please anyone?

Liking what I've played so far of this game. The textures and stuff look like they are out of the first world of diablo 2 these first couple levels I've played. Big graphics improvement over alien shooter. I dig it.

Thank you GGAotD and the Sigma Team for letting me sample this 'sequel' to Alien Shooter. The new locations are great and the overall atmosphere gripping.

I think Alien Shooter 2 is going to go on my list of must buys. :)

The game installed with no problems and works like a treat on all my computers. I personally think it looks much better than Alien Shooter, but I suppose that's the change of environment. This looks much more natural, as opposed to the buildings with the sliced off roofs.

I like how you can update your weapons and buy extra ammo at the end of every level unlike most of the space shooters that are around, although you can also find ammo and at least one weapon within each level. It would seem that whichever weapons you hold, the next best weapon can be found within the next level. There's plenty of weapon choices (six personal weapons) and other equipment such as medic kit’s, radar, drones and different types of armour. You can even buy improvement to your speed, strength, accuracy and regeneration. The ion cannon looks almost impossible to buy at 50 000 euros’, however the rewards seem to increase as you get further into the levels. The difference between the damage caused by the simplest weapon, the revolver which comes as default and the most powerful weapon, the ion cannon is almost an order of magnitude in difference. That is 3 hit points for the revolver per shot and 150 hit points for one shot of the ion cannon.

Besides the killing spree you can destroy lots of objects within the combat area's, some of which can be used to kill hoards of the alien invaders. There's also lots of items that you can also purchase in the frequently visited shop that you'll find on each level. Some appear once you've killed an alien, others are hidden in crates and barrels and yet others are just laying on the ground.

Oh yeah, the game has also got the same options as alien shooter, amongst which you have the change of blood from green to red which can be pass worded for those parents that think it looks a little gory. :)

@ 24 : "obviously a medieval/mythology based game". Did you play, or even just looked at the screenshots? Its called "Theseus - Return of the Hero", the keyword here being "Return". Its not the mysthos story of Theseus, and the screenshots have stuff that aren't medieval much, like vehicule.

So where is the obviousness here?

Anyone else having problems getting the game to work? It installs fine and I can get to the main screen, but when I click on New Game, **Poof** it shuts down.

Sure would like to try it out.

Very much a clone. Even the Set-up program didn't change the weapon descriptions (ion cannon in what is obviously a medieval/mythology based game?)

I gave it thumbs-up. But note that it's EXACTLY like "Alien Shooter". Same engine, same weapons, even the same enemies! However, the level design is good, and it's a fun game. So check it out, especially if you haven't played the other game.

Do you known that you can kill monster shooting at the wall? (in alien shooter).. it's slow but quite handy because the game is way difficult in lastest scenes. I wonder if this trick works.

Although this game seems to be a carbon copy of Alien Shooter, I still have fun playing these games. However, my kids, who are spoiled by multiplayer free games that are out there, don't care for games like this. The graphics aren't really all that great. Still, I like this game and find the game play very easy and fun. I love games where I can use the mouse and not have to find and press a bunch of letters and symbols on the keyboard.

Looks like a clone. Alienshooter was fun, but it wasn't as big in size. This is 28MB, alienshooter was 18. This has less features. Hmm. Not accusing, just wondering what could tack on 10mb. Anyhow, I don't think I'll be downloading this. thanks anyway guys, be back tomorrow.

I was also going to comment that the developer should get someone make sure their in game English is correct (the survived sic) I'm sure someone would be happy to do it in exchange for a free game.

However I just noticed the English in my last comment wasn't exactly perfect so ...

Alien shooter again (even the same monsters and same cheats) if you liked that you like this. Personally I enjoyed Alien Shooter but this exactly the same and just as repetitive. After last time I tried Alien Shooter 2 which had far better graphics and I would recommend that to any who liked the first.

This is basically a copy of Alien Shooter. If you want more of the same--exact same, download this. Otherwise, just play Alien Shooter.

Alien Shooter was a terrific little game for sure, and this looks to be more of the same. But I'd highly recommend you guys get the real Alien Shooter 2 aka Alien Shooter Vengeance here in the states.

Way more levels, looks much better (though not incredibly better) and supports multiplayer!
