Snowy: Lunch Rush was available as a giveaway on April 28, 2007!
Snowy: Lunch Rush is a casual arcade game in which the player helps Snowy win a contest to run the best restaurant in town. The competition takes place over a period of 60 days in Snowy’s hometown.
Each day, Snowy must earn enough money to keep his restaurant open, make repairs and upgrade to better locations. He does this by seating customers, taking orders, serving food, collecting money and clearing tables.
Snowy: Lunch Rush comes with a Career Mode, unlockable Endless Modes and a side order of fries. (Just kidding! You'll have to supply your own snacks).

Featuring a stunning degree of visual detail and as much brick-bashing fun as we could cram into one release, Magic Ball 3 has changed Breakout games forever. The task before you is challenging. It's also filled with incredible sights and sounds!
Turtix didn't know what would happen when he tried casting a powerful spell without the supervision of his teacher. When he lost control of the magic and it shattered an amulet that maintained peace and harmony throughout his world, he thought the worst had happened. Then he learned dark forces had invaded five islands and kidnapped all of the young turtles from the School of Magic! Determined to set things right, the brave and commendable Turtix set out to rescue his friends and collect the scattered pieces of the amulet.
On April 14, 1912, the ill-fated RMS Titanic struck an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean. Within hours, the majestic steamship, along with hundreds of passengers, lay in a watery grave deep beneath the surface. As a member of the Hidden Expedition Adventure League, you're responsible for exploring the ruins of the once majestic ocean liner and collecting artifacts for the Titanic Museum.
Very good game! Kids and parents love it! Thanks!

I really didn't expect to enjoy this game, but I sure do. I think a good rule of thumb is, "If it's Snowy, it's a great game."

I was so excited to see a high quality game here...I love Diner Dash so this was perfect. Thank you.

#89 duh did you even run the game? It clearly says that the theme is used by permission from the dinner dash people. In other words, Alawar paid them for permission to be able to make a similar game.
There's nothing wrong with similar games if they are good and are done legitly like this.
Now sit down you troll.

The career mode is very easy. In one day I past the game. The endless mode is good. ¡The graphics are superb!. The music is repetitive and short, but is good too. ¡Great Game!.

Yaaaaaah Snowy! I played this as a demo a long time ago and it was great. I always am always eager to try the Alawar games here at GGotD. They always load and play well. This delightful character has several game types built around him and I think all are terrific.
In Snowy:Lunch Rush, You use your mouse to click on various areas of a restaurant, sending a little bear hustling there to perform the duties of running a restaurant. He seats the customers, gives them menus, comes back for their orders, gives the order to the cook, picks up the order, brings the check and takes payment. Of course when the restaurant has lots of tables, and more customers - things get crazy and customers get irate and leave. If you don't make enough money to make the rent - well, you figure it out.
As the game progresses you can purchase upgrades such as goodies to appease your customers or cupcakes for customers etc.
All in all, a most amusing little bear that keeps me amused with an ever challenging progression. No wonder there's a 96% thumbs up . Thanks Alawar and GGotD. This is yet another wonderful gift I'll keep.

I didn't think I would enjoy this game as much as I did. It is set up like a children's game, but the Endless mode just in medium level nearly had me cross-eyed! Poor Snowy! Now I understand what all the food servers of the world go through! :) Seriously though, the game is really good... flawless graphics (LOVE my shiny new floor) and movement, very fun and engaging gameplay as well. Thank you GGOTD and Alawar! (By the way, anyone know what to do with that cat that appears? I may have missed some instructions, it just keeps meowing at me.)

I am a father of four (ages 4, 7, 13, 15), IT instructor at a career college for adults, and I think this game is super CUTE. Put a big smile on my face! Very entertaining, not overly complicated. Great for the kids, but I confess I found it rather delightful myself. Wife likes it too. It runs great on my laptop running Windows XP Media Center Edition, as well as on one of our desktop PCs, running Windows 2000. Thumbs up, GGOTD.

Looks quite interesting and appears it will be a fast paced game (as is the food service biz at times). Just played a little bit to get a feel. Didn't think I was going to be real interested until I played a little. This will be a good distraction from things on occasion, as well as a nice one to have when the little ones come over. Young or old, this one will keep you busy having fun and keeping up with the customers. On a scale from 1-10 I'd give it a 7. Graphics are great btw. I did have to close my side-bar because it was glitching through the game UI, but that's not a problem and happens with some games on occasion. Not really a concern I don't think, but thought I'd mention it anyway. A nice game worth dwnldg. Don't let the graphics\screen-shots fool you. Game play is what it's all about, and this is a fun game to play! Music can be turned off in settings.

Extremely fun game. It's a clone of DINER DASH, to be sure, but since I don't own the other game this one will do just fine (indeed, I personally prefer this version).

How do the guys at Alawar live with themselves knowing that every single game they make is a complete rip-off of something already made, and then their games end up being inferior each time?
Alawar, you are *PATHETIC*, LEARN HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN GAMES.

The best way to beat these types of games is to not get too stressed out and follow the instructions at the beginning of the level. There is one level in particular( I think it was around level 39 but I am not sure) that color arrangements and doing things in order do not count. All that counts is that you seat and serve everybody as quickly as possible or you will never finish that round
*** Always seat the young boys first the young girls second. They don't have a lot of patience and keeping them happy while they are waiting is harder
****The VIP's should also be seated soon because Snowy playing the music does not add any hearts to them so unless they are seated you will lose them.
I always seat the older ladies( they're not old but they are older than the kids) last because they take longer to decide order and eat so they throw off your game. They are the most patient while waiting
****Don't get caught up seating people as they first arrive, it could be a mistake wait until at least a few people show up and try to seat the same type of people at the same time because they will order and finish at the same time which will help you with making the chains.
Hope this helps the people that are stuck on certain levels

I was thrilled to see this game as a giveaway. I've already bought it, so won't be downloading today, but I love reflexive arcade games and I hope there will more of them!
For those not familiar with this game (or Diner Dash), it requires clicking through different steps in order to direct "Snowy" (in this case) through seating customers, taking their order, turning the order into the kitchen, picking up the order, serving the customers, collecting the money and then cleaning the table. The ongoing primary challenge is doing it in enough time that your customer's don't go away angry and lose you money. Lots of other challenges come up throughout the game, making it much harder as it goes on. It's a lot of fun and is great for developing/maintaining hand/eye coordination.
Thanks GOTD! More reflexive games, please! Maybe Cake Mania: Back to the Bakery!

I had no problems with the download or the installation. But, before the game started loading I noticed it changed my screen size from 1024x768 to 800x600. Then when the game started, parts of the screen were blacked out making playing impossible. So I went to options and unchecked the "full screen" box to see if that would clear up the problem. It did not. So I quit the game, then changed my screen resolution to 800x600 and restarted the game. This time it did not try to change the screen size, but again when the actual playing time started parts of it were blacked out. I uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled and still have the same problems. I'm running XP and have never had a problem with any other games or progs from GAOTD. Looks like it would have been a fun game to play :(

Good morning everyone! ;)
Like many who commented today, I also love this genre of games! They're fun! They actually teach kids a little about the service industry - and even customer service for that matter. They will realize pretty fast, that customers are not happy if they don't get placed at a table and served in pretty short succession.
I also agree that it's not specifically a kid's game once you get past the first few levels. Your eyes need to be all over the place: check the customers themselves for mood; for order taking; checking on orders placed and at the same time and still keep an eye on customers who wish to pay the check and leave.
All in all, this is a wonderful game, with great cartoon type graphics and seamless playing without any crashes etc.
Activation and installation was very simple with no problems occurring on Windows XP, while the music is sweet and not annoying at all.
I'm slowly becoming an Alawar fan, except for "El Airplane" which was unenjoyable for me. Having mouse controls is always a wonderful feature, sometimes not extended by other software houses.
This game was an extremely GOOD CALL GOTD, which is evidenced by more positive reviews than negative for a change! Thank you again for this wonderful opportunity.
Alawar - thank you so much for being here with us. We genuinely appreciate your involvement with GOTD and your name will stick with me for software games for a long time to come. I'll also recommend your website to other game players.

It says I have 60 minutes of play time unless I enter the registration code. Does this mean the free game is like a limited trial offer? Does anyone know the code?
I'm talking about the Snowy Lunch Rush!

Wow People. Don't complain, GGAOT is offering this for free! It's not like they are forcing you to download this or anything. PS3, however, is just a game. What are games but entertainment? Jeeze, don't complain.

Free is good and so is this game. If you're not paying for it then why do you feel you have the right to complain? Go someplace, pay for a game and then complain. Otherwise shut up!

I downloaded at 650 kbyte/s here, which is my max, so its not thier fault if you can't d/l faster.
