Today’s game giveaway Lost Head downloads as a 37.6 MB zip file that unpacks
to a read me and a wrapped setup file (the orange colored file with the key symbol), plus there’s a setup file with security (setup.gcd) that’s protected from being hacked (because the previous giveaway system was easily cracked). This file may cause some security software to alert the user to a possible malware attack, but it will be a false positive.

. There has never been a game giveaway (The owners know that allowing such things would compromise their business, so they make sure all software given away via the giveaway and gamegiveaway sites are thoroughly checked for all types of malware before allowing community members to download any files.

Some community members have been having problems installing games since the security wrapper was added last year but you can work around it at your own risk by tuning off, your security software temporarily. This is not recommended but considering that there has never been a single game giveaway infected with malware since the project started back in Dec 2006, the risk is probably insignificant. The game giveaway team check all game giveaways for malware using several well known anti -malware suites; however, this doesn’t guarantee that future games are safe.

(thanks for the suggestion re updating this section ALF)

To register and install the game, click on the orange colored icon. The installed game requires approx 154MB of disk space and installs to the following path:

(If the install path shows the last game giveaway installed you need to clear your internet cache) you’ll also find a shortcut in the Start Menu for an uninstaller.

The game works on Win 8.1, Win 7, Vista and XP Pro.

    The Game:

Lost Head is a funny little game with physics based puzzles. Play Franken-Stich a green rag doll that lost his head. The task for each level is to complete the puzzle in order to bring Frank’s head on his shoulders.
The mechanic of the game is very simple, pop bubbles, inflate or squeeze sponges, drop boxes and planks and so on, only to make the head rolling in the right position.
There are 73 levels grouped in 4 stages:. To unlock the new stages you need to collect a specific number of stars which you earn by completing levels as quickly as possibly:

    1) … Start
    2) … Load
    3) … Propeller
    4) … Resistance.

Each level can be finished with 1 to 3 stars, which are awarded depending on how long you took to complete the levels. The game isn’t forgiving with respect to time. To earn three stars you need to be faultless and very quick, especially as the game progresses and becomes much harder.

Some levels contain objects that you have to collect to earn the three stars. Failing to collect will lose you at least one star. There are 27 to in total. These objects include household appliances such as a tv, iron, duck, cup, toaster etc.
To unlock the second group you require 30 stars, the third group (propellor 60 stars and the final stage Resistance 90 stars.

You can select from the following languages:

    mzl qoxsvphn 1024x1024 65

The graphics are very colorful and simple, clear and funny. The sound effects are nothing special, the music very annoying after a few minutes. Thankfully, you can mute both if you wish.
You can choose the language from the menu (but its a limited offer don’t expect of every language).

A good physics based game that’ll have you scratching your head as the levels progress. The early levels are easy to complete, later ones will have you scratching your head in frustration. You can skip levels, but this will make it harder to unlock the later stages as you need at least 30 stars to unlock each successive stage.

Highly recommended if you like physics based puzzles. Hours of entertainment.

    Gameplay – 9
    Graphics – 7
    Audio – 5
    Replayability – 8
    Originality – 7
    Fun Factor – 9

Total out of 60 = 45 which is equivalent to 7.5 out of 10 (the sound score skews the result lower than I’d give it personally.

Glad you like it. Definitely an addictive game. :)

My name is derived from one of my favorite songs from the late 60′ sung by Grace Slick while with the band Jefferson Airplane called Whiterabbit. Got fond memories of the rock and indie clubs I used to frequent in Manchester UK (back in the 80′s) when this was played regularly. I use this name and combinations such a Slickwhiterabbit (AIM and Skype) on all of the sites I visit on the Net. My real name is one of the more common name sin the UK. I’ve even worked with someone with exactly the same name as me. (Stephen plus the name of a color)

    Hi Neverever,

Can you tell the community why you think the game is rubbish? It may help others to see another viewpoint and balance out the positive review I’ve given. Thank you. (I’ve deleted the implied word you used as it was inappropriate for this family site.

It usually takes me a lot more than a minute to determine whether agame is rubbish or not.
