Another Playrix match-three, groan. At least the graphics are nice. It IS different than some of the others, and that is a welcome change. I like the sound effects, the music is very repetitive but sounds all right. I don’t really understand the power-ups, either they weren’t explained well or I just didn’t “get” it. I guess I’ll figure them out.

The main issue I have is that the mouse pointer is not centered. That’s the best way I know how to explain it. It’s slightly lower and to the left of where it feels it should be. It makes the acorn bonus level needlessly difficult and it makes my wrist feel weird, like I’m pointing wrong.

The first time in the Fairy Fair, it says “Fairy Fair” at the top, but the tutorial explanation says “Fairy Fare” – two different spellings. Also, the grammar could be cleaned up a little.

Would like to see a way to be able to click through the animations. It’s nice watching it the first few times, but after that, I just want to get through it and on to the next level. Some things I want to click through include the points adding up at the end of a level and the flag advancing to the next location on the level map.

    The fairy giggle is creepy.

I haven’t had a chance to play any other gametypes besides Normal. The computer shut down to install updates in the middle of the game. Postpone! Postpone! Ah, next time.

Pretty nice game, Playrix does some good work, even if it’s all the same thing.
